Darker it is, the worse it's going to be for you. It's because your body gets damaged by the toxins in chocolate. And when you damage your body, your bone marrow has to produce new stem cells to repair the damage. And this is exactly why the stem cells in the bloodstream increase after chocolate. This is biology 101. And she will say, eat more chocolate against what, aging or whatever she's gonna say. But that's not true. It's literally just repairing the damage that you did by eating the chocolate. It's not as if it overall helps your body in any way.

For blood stem cells, we fed mice for several months with a vitamin A-free diet and analyzed their stem cells. In the absence of vitamin A in the diet, the number of blood stem cells decreased compared to control animals eating regular food. As was similarly found in this study, vitamin A is a key factor in the maintenance of blood stem cells. So go out and grab a bunch of carrots, a bag of peppers, or a handful of kale.
