[video] 0:00 hi guys as requested i'm going to review a video called nutrition tier list vegetables hello everybody this is talon and welcome to this nutrition tier list a series where i break down the options in any given food group and rank them based on how nutritious they are and how good they are for your health today we're going over vegetables now vegetables are the stereotypical i eat these to be healthy food group so

0:23 Yeah, which is absolute nonsense, because vegetables are, along with seeds, the least nutritious foods on Earth. There's no other food that has so little nutrients. And actually, it cannot even be called food anyway, for the most part, because all of the vegetables that we eat nowadays don't even exist in nature. They are actually literally man-made. And what does that mean? That means that humans in nature don't eat it, which means that it's not part of our natural diet, if you want to call it that. Cows in nature eat grass and all kinds of other plants. Goats eat all kinds of plants, including actual wood, sticks, Gorillas also, they have this huge gut to ferment the plants. Chickens eat bugs, and so on. My point is that what they naturally eat is found in nature.

1:15 None of this is found in nature, which means that humans never used to eat it up until very, very recently, which completely proves that they are unnatural, unnecessary, and therefore unhealthy.

[video] 1:28 Let's see how that holds up. But before I go on, I just want to clarify something. Not everything on this list is going to fit the botanical definition of a vegetable. Quite a few of the items on this list are technically fruits.

1:38 Yes, exactly. Those are fruits. Most people mislabel them as vegetables, but it's the fruit of the plant. It cannot possibly be the vegetable itself. It doesn't make any sense to call a cucumber, which is the fruit of the plant, a vegetable.

[video] 1:53 the flowering part of the plants that contains the seeds. But if you go take a look at the fruit video, it's already really long. So I'm going to be taking the most vegetable-y fruits, the ones that are culinarily considered vegetables, and ranking them here. Now, vegetables as a whole seem to fit a little bit of a pattern.

2:05 They are only really considered to be vegetables by ignorant people because they are not as sweet. They don't have as much sugar as a banana or an orange. That's the only reason, really.

[video] 2:16 They're typically mainly made up of just water. They typically don't contribute much calorically. And they typically provide a wide array of vital...

2:23 Calorically, yes, macronutrient-wise and also micronutrient-wise. They generally don't have nutrients, micro or macro, but of course it's going to say provide a wide array...

[video] 2:37 Vitamins?

2:41 No, absolutely not. You can't find basically any vitamins in vegetables. Vitamin C you can find, plant versions of the B vitamins and vitamin E, which you would still have to convert into the animal versions for you as an animal, as a human being, to be able to use them. In that sense, they are still more or less useless, seeing as you should be eating the animal versions from animal foods in the first place. But vitamins A, D, K2, F, which are the fatty acids, the omega-3s, you won't be able to find in any plants on Earth. Those are insanely important for your development, especially as a child. No vegetable on earth has them. Minerals, you can find some minerals, but then again, there's anti-nutrients also in a lot of them and other plant toxins which won't let you absorb them. Therefore, can you really get any minerals out of them? Here and there, some, yeah.

3:41 Fruit would be better for that. Plant compounds. And of course, he just calls them plant compounds. Really, what they are are plant toxins. Phytoestrogens, for example. A lot of phytotoxins. Phyto just means plant.

[video] 3:55 That are tougher to find in other food groups.

3:59 other food groups which ones just name one you won't be able to everything is way easier to get from animal foods and the vitamins and minerals are actually bioavailable as in you can digest and absorb them

[video] 4:15 If a food can cause health issues, health concerns, then you shouldn't be eating it. Come on.

4:43 That's common sense.

[video] 4:44 Oh, boy. How this video already starts. There's literally no side effects to eating any kind of meat. But, uh...

5:10 you believe that eating food which has side effects such as vegetables is still worth it because? Well, we'll see now why he says that it's worth it.

[video] 5:19 The C-tier meat or C-tier fruit. All numerical nutritional information in this video and across this series will be based on 100 grams of the individual food for the sake of consistency and ease of comparison. In this video, I'll be marking whether the numbers are based on the vegetable being raw or cooked depending on how it's more commonly eaten. But I will mention any notable differences between the two if they can be consumed either way. Before we start, go ahead and leave down in the comments what's your go-to vegetable and where do you think it's gonna land? And one last thing, if you enjoy these tier lists, or at the very least find them helpful, I encourage you to subscribe because there's plenty more on the way. And with all that being said, I hope you're ready to just veg out and absorb, because it's time to get into the vegetables. First up on our list is artichoke. Artichoke is an average-caloried vegetable with an average micronutrient profile.

5:52 Alright, let's go through the list. Already by the looks of it, would you ever eat this in nature, if it did exist in nature? Of course not. You would be afraid of poisoning yourself, possibly even dying.

6:04 Also, it's green. Green suppresses appetite in human beings. Green food is not food. Calories, obviously nothing, macronutrients, carbs, fiber. Fiber is horrible for your gut. Never eat anything that has fiber. Folate. Yes, we have the plant versions of the B vitamins, which you may be able to

6:29 get out of the plants if you juice them raw. Most people cook this stuff anyway. Almost nobody's gonna eat it raw, which means that the B vitamins will be completely gone. Heat destroys water-soluble vitamins. That includes vitamin C, which is also listed here. Manganese, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, as you can see, insanely low amounts. There's no animal food. that even comes close to these low amounts of minerals.

[video] 6:57 They're easily the best source of fiber on this list, which is shown to help keep your digestive system working properly.

7:03 Show and help? Where? Come on, show it, prove it. Give an argument, give anything. Absolutely no proof. We can see in every study ever done that fiber is horrible for the gut. It causes IBS and every gut problem you can think of. Fiber is simply the indigestible plant matter, which as you can see is more or less the whole artichoke. You cannot digest it. It's just green indigestible fiber.

[video] 7:27 This includes inulin, a type of soluble fiber that acts as a prebiotic. Artichoke are also shown to increase the production of bile.

7:34 It cannot even be a prebiotic, even if you would believe that, because of all the toxins in artichoke, which he doesn't even mention. The toxins in artichoke were even proven to damage your genes in a study.

[video] 7:45 which removes toxic waste and breaks down fats during digestion. They're also among the best sources of antioxidants, including... shown to increase production of bile.

7:55 I'm going to say something about that in a second. Removes toxic waste and breaks down fats. Yes, the natural purpose of bile is to break down fat when you eat... any kind of meat, for example, but also to remove toxins. When you eat something toxic, your bile production will increase. He says that it's shown to increase the production of bile. He did not eat any fat, which means that it is toxic. He literally proves, he even writes it himself, that it increases the production of bile, which means 100% that artichoke is toxic, which we already know from tons of studies. It has been proven that artichoke is full of toxins, just like every man-made toxic vegetable. But he even proves it with the production of bile, not realizing that he's proving this to everybody. And all of the ignorant people who watch this video don't even understand what they're reading. It produces bile.

8:53 Oh, I didn't eat any fat, but for some reason it just increases the production of bile. Oh, I guess I'll just continue eating something toxic, which is why your body produces bile, to get rid of the toxins among the best sources of antioxidants. There's no antioxidants in plants for human beings. The antioxidants In plants, only protect the plants. They are supposed to kill the insects or poison the stupid human beings who eat them. Look at a child trying to eat a vegetable. They will gag, they will make a face like they would never want to eat it ever again. It's bitter, it's toxic, it's just horrible. Yuck! But humans get brainwashed to eat them. These plants are trying to protect themselves with these antioxidants from being eaten. An antioxidant which you can actually use as a human being is cholesterol. That's one of the most important antioxidants.

[video] 9:42 Vitamin C, flavonoids, and phenolic compounds.

9:45 The vitamin C is already destroyed if you cook the artichoke. Nobody's going to eat it raw anyway, so forget about it. Flavonoids are toxins, actually very strong ones and deadly in large amounts. The phenolic compounds, again, it's just another word for the plant toxins.

[video] 10:00 Which fight against the effects of free radicals and certain cancers. Artichoke is shown to raise HDL...

10:05 Actually, no. In the studies, it was proven that they kill everything they touch. That's how it is with toxins. Garlic, for example, a very strong antibiotic and poison. You can die by eating too much of it. It was proven in a study to kill cancer cells. But what it actually proved when you read it is that it killed everything that it touched. And that's because toxins don't choose what they kill. Artichoke also just kills every cell in your body. You can very easily check any studies. All of the studies prove this. Just because they also kill cancer cells, which isn't even a good thing, but it's a whole different topic, watch my video on cancer, doesn't mean that it's somehow healthy for you. Consuming poison is never going to be healthy for you. Showing to raise HDL, it's the HDL-LDL fearmongering, not even going to get into that, obviously absolute nonsense. HDL and LDL are super important for you.

11:03 Your body produces it itself, and your body never produces anything that's bad for you. Showing to regulate blood pressure, yeah, also kind of irrelevant, essentially.

[video] 11:14 But...

11:16 Wait, what? Shown to ease symptoms of IBS? What? Okay, man. You can lie as much as you want, but to claim something so insanely ridiculous when we have absolute proof that all fiber and plant toxins are the cause of IBS. IBS is simply an Illness caused by fiber. That's it. Everybody who has IBS who stops eating fiber right away has no IBS anymore. That's it. It's very simple. You start eating only animal foods. Oh, IBS is magically gone. It turns out IBS was a fiber illness. IBS should really just be called FBS, fiber bowel syndrome. You remove the fiber and your IBS is gone.

[video] 11:59 Artichoke has been shown to lead to gas, upset stomach, and diarrhea.

12:03 Okay, so it helps with IBS, but it produces gas, which proves that the fiber is indigestible and that the plant toxins are destroying your gut. Very logical. Yeah, very great video so far. Upset stomach. It helps with IBS, but it causes an upset stomach. Okay, man. Yeah, just go on. Come on. Just completely discredit yourself here.

[video] 12:26 Yeah, in some people.

12:27 Diarrhea, of course, because diarrhea is a detoxification mechanism of your body. When you have diarrhea, it means that you ate something toxic and your body tries to get rid of it as quickly as possible. When you eat artichoke, which as proven is toxic, then you may get diarrhea, especially if you eat it raw. The more you cook it, the more you destroy all of the chemicals, including the vitamins and the toxins, which means that you will not suffer such severe consequences by eating this absolutely unnatural man-made garbage.

[video] 13:02 Artichoke can be eaten raw or cooked, with the main difference being that a notable amount of the nutrients, specifically vitamin C, are heat sensitive, making them less absorbable to the body.

13:12 All of the chemicals are heat sensitive, some more, some less. If you can't eat a food raw, then you shouldn't be eating it at all.

[video] 13:20 Overall, artichoke is a good vegetable with some impressive health benefits. I'll be placing it in the B tier.

13:25 I skipped to the middle of this video. We are going to kale in a second, which is the most important one, seeing as people believe that it's so healthy right now. We are at jalapeno. It would be a two-hour video if I would go through every vegetable here. There's no point even to go through this because all of them are... more or less just as unhealthy although kale is really horrible and actually deadly sheep that have eaten kale have actually died from it jalapeno we have vitamin a of course not there's no vitamin a that has ever been found in any plant what he probably means are carotenoids maybe which you would have to convert to vitamin A, which human beings can't do, as proven in studies, seeing as we are not herbivorous animals, so it's completely irrelevant if you get carotenoids from any vegetables. Completely irrelevant, you can't do anything with them.

14:21 Your skin is going to maybe turn more orange by eating carrots, that's about it, because it's a plant pigment. Carotenoids are pigments, in case you didn't know. Vitamin C, again, destroyed, seeing as you probably won't eat jalapenos raw. Maybe in Mexico or somewhere they do eat them raw. And you're gonna be eating such small amounts of them that it's just irrelevant to even mention any nutrients in jalapenos anyway. Fiber, as we understand already, it's horrible for you. B6. We have the plant versions of B6, which you would have to convert to the animal versions, which are not found in plants, as I have pointed out many times in the videos over the years. So again, completely irrelevant. Vitamin K, K1, irrelevant, also incredibly small amounts, just pointless. Why even mention this? Every animal food on Earth has actual K2, and that's bioavailable and usable by the body.

15:16 Then you have manganese, again a mineral which may stay intact even if you cook them, but again, just super small amounts and really nothing else, just completely pointless. Then he mentioned B6, or he talked about it with antioxidants, same as I said before about artichoke, vitamin C, same thing. anti-inflammatory heart health. What are you talking about? Seriously. Jalapenos are insanely inflammatory because they are so toxic, that's why they are so spicy, that they cause very severe inflammation in the body. Inflammation is just your body trying to fight the toxins. So of course... Oh, of course, again. Oh, I love this. They use these studies...

16:04 It's the same with garlic. They eat these very toxic foods which cause inflammation. And because these antioxidants, for example, such as cholesterol, white blood cells are released to fight these toxins in jalapenos, garlic, and all these toxic foods, they say that because these anti-inflammatory chemicals are released by the body in response to you consuming jalapenos, you will therefore reduce the overall inflammation in your body, when in reality your body responds to the toxicity of the jalapenos and therefore releases these white blood cells, for example, to fight the inflammation. which is a response to the toxicity of you eating toxic food.

[video] 16:50 Even if it may be the highest micronutrient vegetable, it still has nothing in comparison to even a steak. Just nothing.

17:16 The nutrient profile is so incredibly low. Vitamin K1, not K2, which is what humans use, very high, but pointless seeing as we need to convert it to K2, which human beings, as proven in studies, can't even do. Vitamin A, no. No plant on Earth has vitamin A, again. He's talking about something else. Vitamin A is an animal vitamin. By default, it cannot be found in plants. Vitamin C, yes. You would have to juice it raw for you to override the fiber. You can't just chew it raw. And you will never even be able to swallow it because it tastes so insanely toxic. If you would cook it, then you would not get any vitamin C out of it. And most people cook it, so the vitamin C is, again, irrelevant. Manganese, okay, sure. Copper, okay, sure. B6 plant versions, again, you will need to convert and if you cook it, they are gone. Calcium, okay, yeah, whatever. Eat an animal food, you also get calcium. Whatever. Completely pointless.

18:16 Completely pointless. Macronutrient-wise anyway, but micronutrient-wise also. We'll see what he says.

[video] 18:22 ...on this list by far, which is mainly used for blood clotting and bone building. It's also one of the best sources of carotenoids, namely beta-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin.

18:32 Bone building, he would have to show proof for that because K2, in combination with minerals and vitamin D, is bone building. K1, never seen any proof whatsoever. How could it even? Doesn't make any sense. Carotenoids, yeah, we already had that.

[video] 18:47 Antioxidants that are shown to mainly preserve eye health.

18:50 Kale also has a significant No, carotenoids have not been shown to have anything to do with your eyes. Vitamin A has been.

[video] 18:58 Amount of other antioxidants like vitamin C, quercetin, and camphorol, which combat free radicals, inflammation, and certain cancers.

19:06 As I said again, firstly, he has no proof at all for what he's saying, and secondly, it's very easy to prove that these are toxins and they actually harm your health.

[video] 19:14 Like other cruciferous vegetables, kale also contains sulforaphane and indole-3-carbonate.

19:19 Sulforaphane, one of the most potent toxins on Earth. That's why kale and broccoli smell so bad. When you eat kale or broccoli, you will smell really bad because the sulforaphane will try to leave your body. It has been proven to kill anything it touches. Every cell in your body that is touched by sulforaphane right away dies. It actually can create tumors in your body because of the clumps of dead cells that are created by consuming plant toxins such as sulforaphane. Tumors are just clumps of dead cells.

[video] 19:50 And kale is even more nutrient dense raw, especially...

19:53 stimulates detoxification. Again, as I already explained, but in case you don't understand, any food that activates detoxification is toxic. If you ingest something that is toxic, your body will in response try to detoxify, which is why it will activate the antioxidants such as cholesterol, create white blood cells. It's perfect proof that kale is toxic.

[video] 20:18 when it comes to vitamin C and carotenoid concentrations.

20:21 Now, kale may cause... All food is more nutritious in its raw form, obviously, because cooking only destroys nutrients. It never increases them. It never helps you in any way. It's not healthy in any way.

[video] 20:35 Nothing comes remotely close to kale. Out of these vegetables, maybe yes.

20:53 compared to any animal food out there, you wouldn't even see it on the list. It would be so low. It would be out of the list. It's just an absolute joke nutritionally. It would cause insane malnutrition if that's all that you would eat. Whereas if you would eat only meat, you would be super nourished.

[video] 21:11 All right, I'm not going to go through anything else.

21:15 It's just too much. You can already see how ignorant he is and how he's also possibly partly lying. Can you be this ignorant? Maybe. People are pretty stupid.

[video] 21:24 So as it turns out, we didn't even need that bottom tier. More or less, vegetables are exactly what you'd expect.

21:30 And just because I ranked some... All of them should be in the F tier, especially kale because of how toxic it is.

[video] 21:37 Okay, the cucumber is okay. It doesn't have anything nutritionally, but it's also not really bad for you. You could juice it for hydration, for example, as long as you peel the skin.

21:46 Oh my god, man! Oh my god!

22:03 Wow, he really is that ignorant. He actually just talked about man-made food, not realizing that everything, and I mean everything that he showed here is man-made, none of this exists in nature. Those were man-made abominations by definition.

[video] 22:19 thing about vegetables is that they are a piece to a puzzle. The puzzle that is your diet that you can build any number of ways because there is no perfect picture for everyone. Vegetables do not stand on their own because they mainly don't contribute in ways that involve calories. They will, however, almost always be a positive addition that will benefit those that go the extra step in including them. Hopefully this list introduced you to a few new options you can mix into your meal plan.

22:35 It's insane how brainwashed people are nowadays. To believe that you need to eat something which doesn't even exist in nature to be healthy is absolute insanity. It's something that humans never used to eat up until recently. It's as if you go up to a wolf and try to tell him that he needs to start eating man-made artichoke and kale, because that's going to make his diet somehow better and make him overall healthier. It's the same kind of weird insane logic. And the wolf will of course respond by spitting it out right away. You would have to hold down a wolf, open their mouth and force it down their throat for the kale to enter the wolf's body, but humans nowadays put it inside of their bodies.

23:27 Just like that, willingly, it seems like it, but of course it's not actually willing, because if you look at the face expressions of the people who put kale into their mouths, their bodies, then they will of course express absolute disgust. And that's exactly what we should learn from. We should look at the face expressions of the people who eat these toxic man-made vegetables and learn from that that we should not eat them. That's how every animal on earth would learn it. If a wolf would for whatever reason be stupid enough to try something new, then another wolf would look at the wolf, see that the wolf spits out the food and learn from it. That's how we can learn from children. If a child doesn't want to eat a vegetable and they don't want to eat any vegetables, then you can right away know, oh, that's not human food, we shouldn't eat it. Okay, we learn from it, we move on, but instead we try to put all kinds of sauces and cheese over these toxic vegetables and we try to convince ourselves that it's somehow healthy after all.

24:25 That is actual insanity when you know with your senses that it's bad for you, but you still keep eating it, trying to convince yourself that it must be somehow good for you. There should be no need for us to look at the absolutely horrible nutritional profile of these vegetables. All that we need to do is listen to ourselves and if our bodies don't respond well to a certain food, and this isn't even food by definition, then we should spit it out and never try it again. It's as simple as that. Thanks for watching.
