0:00 Hey guys, I'm going to review the latest video by Hench Erbivore about his hospitalization. And I think that I speak for everybody when I say that we are all very glad that you're still alive.
[video] 0:11 And Chubhavo is practically killing himself in the vegan diet, yet he's still pushing the vegan diet. Mind blown. Let's hope he snaps out of the cold and recovers his health as much as he can.
[video] 0:24 As a vegan, I recently achieved a fat-free mass index of 25, the absolute pinnacle of what's considered achievable naturally. But more recently...
0:33 naturally, but you admitted that you were on steroids at least in the past, you don't look anything close to how a vegan bodybuilder looks like.
[video] 0:42 I became extremely ill, had to undergo surgery and currently look in about the worst shape of my life. I did a post on Instagram recently saying that I've been extremely ill, but leaving out exactly what was wrong with me. As expected, despite there being no context, anti-vegans and carnivores immediately started blaming my vegan diet. Were they right to do so, though? Well, I have a definitive answer for you, backed up by mainstream...
1:03 It doesn't really matter what he's about to say. He was in the hospital. He was sick. If you eat naturally, the way a human being is supposed to, you don't get sick. Except, of course, if something else happens to you. But I'm sure that he wasn't in a car accident, which means that it must be his diet.
[video] 1:19 Additional fact, so stay tuned.
[video] 1:23 Alright, before he says anything and tries to talk himself out of it, what causes gallstones and also kidney stones?
1:39 Firstly, of course, vegetable oils, as it has been proven. Actually, let's look at what really causes it. Gallstones are deposits of crystallized raisins and minerals. The same as kidney stones, but combined with bile and gallbladder. How do you get kidney stones then? Crystallized cooked vegetable fat resins. The vegetable oils which are in all of the processed vegan junk food. Vegans eat that stuff all of the time. I've seen your What I Eat In A Day videos. It's obvious that that's why you got the gallstones. Crystallized hydrogenated fats and oils. Again, the vegan food is full of that. Mineral salts are collected in form in clusters and clumps in the kidneys. I've had many kidney stones analyzed. Most were composed of food additives such as flavor and fragrance oils. Many were composed of crystallized oils and syrups. and candies.
2:39 That's the kind of stuff that you eat in your What I Eat In A Day videos. It cannot be much clearer. That's why people get kidney stones and gallstones. Another major problem is that vegan food is full of oxalates, all of the greens that this guy always eats. It's no surprise that you got this problem.
[video] 2:58 It's reckoned to be a worse pain than childbirth. Immediately I got admitted to hospital.
3:03 Yes, it's very painful, supposedly, and it's abnormal to experience that as a healthy human being. That should be the bottom line here.
[video] 3:13 After a few days waiting to have my gallbladder removed, I suffered peritonitis when my gallbladder suddenly perforated. Bile leaked into my body and I went into stage 4 kidney failure. Soon I was under the knife, the bile drained and my gallbladder removed. Post-surgery, as quickly as I went downhill, my vitals recovered similarly.
3:38 It's interesting that he could hardly walk after five days in the hospital. I get that he had a surgery. Maybe I don't realize how severe it was, but still it seems strange.
3:50 Yeah, probably because you went off the steroids and it was a shock to your body.
3:58 That's abnormal. It's because you're on a vegan diet. You can't lose muscle mass that quickly naturally.
[video] 4:16 Big question, are gallstones a vegan thing?
4:18 Before you say anything, no, it's not necessarily a vegan problem, but most vegans do eat foods high in vegetable oils, food additives, oxalates, all of those green salads that vegans believe are healthy, is what's gonna cause kidney stones, which you could also get if you would eat salads and meat, of course. It doesn't have to be a vegan diet. The problem are plants and unnatural food. No!
[video] 4:46 by far the most common reason for gallstones to develop. It's from eating excess cholesterol.
4:54 Wait, what? Wait, wait, what? I would like to read this. I would like to see the rest of this. Or did he cut out the rest on purpose? Cholesterol is created by the body. Sure, you can also eat it and get it from animals. And the reason you can get it from animals is because those animals can also create it themselves or also eat it. Carnivorous animals consume a lot of cholesterol. We, of course, also do because we eat raw meat in nature. It's absolutely normal for us to consume cholesterol, but also... to produce it, the body doesn't create anything to harm itself. However, this would imply that what you create yourself is what's gonna cause kidney or gallstones. One of my things, if you don't have a chance of getting gallstones, is a healthy balanced diet, whatever that means, and reduce the number of high cholesterol foods you eat. Where's the reasoning? Where's the arguments? Where's the proof? Where's the actual points? How does cholesterol actually cause kidney or gallstones in any way at all, if that's what he's trying to imply here, as cholesterol is thought to contribute to the formation of gallstones.
5:54 Is this some vegan article? Is this an actual study? What is this even? Is this on Dr. Greger's side? It's just thought to do that. Where's the proof? Give some kind of argument. Living with overweight or obesity also increases the risk of developing gallstones. Eh, whatever.
[video] 6:12 Considering that I've eaten zero cholesterol in the last 11 years, I'd say I'm eating the most anti-Gallstone.
6:19 Yes, you have, but your body still produces cholesterol.
[video] 6:24 So, how in the hell did...
6:26 This guy does understand that all of the cells in his body are made out of cholesterol, right? And that testosterone is 95% cholesterol.
[video] 6:35 Did I develop gallstones? Well, most probably from my recent cut where I lost 77 pounds. Of course, you can lose weight on any eating modality. On average, vegans are the only group with a healthy BMI, though.
6:50 Yeah, man, really, you're gonna use this? Vegans are usually underweight because they are malnourished, whereas the meat eaters in this statistic are people who go to McDonald's and Burger King and eat a plant-based diet, as in 80% plants, processed carbohydrates, but they also eat overcooked meat with no B vitamins left in the meat anymore. And those are the meat eaters in all of these study statistics that people use. Where are the raw meat eaters? Have you seen any obese raw meat eaters? I haven't.
[video] 7:23 Says who? Where's the proof?
7:36 I don't see it.
[video] 7:37 The worst thing that I've ever been through, and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
7:43 Yeah, and it's because of the vegan diet. Stop promoting vegan diets. Or, okay, it's because of the plants. Whatever, vegans eat plants. It was caused by plants. You're not supposed to have freaking vegetable oils in your body which harden in the body. You're not supposed to eat all of the processed junk food that you eat. And you're also not supposed to eat foods rich in oxalates.
[video] 8:05 Carnivores, all you're doing anyway is swapping your long-term health What do you mean by feeling of health? If you feel healthy, then you're healthy.
8:24 Beliefs cannot be facts. If you call your beliefs a fact, then you simply show how close-minded you are, because it means that you believe in it so much that you start calling it a fact. All that you're sharing in this video are your beliefs and opinions.
[video] 8:40 I get why people are seduced by this strategy. Like all animals, we have three prime directives. Seek pleasure, avoid pain, expend the least energy.
8:50 Seek pleasure, avoid pain. Yes, exactly. Actually, I agree with him. That's what I've been talking about for years. Human beings seek pleasure. They want to feel good. They want to be comfortable. Naturally, all animals want that. And of course, they also want to avoid pain. But he goes to the gym. He tortures himself. I've seen his face expressions at the gym. He absolutely hates it, just like everybody who goes to the gym, which means that he is seeking pain.
[video] 9:18 But think about it. If you...
9:20 Expand the least energy doing so. Again, that's what I promote in my videos, but you don't do that whatsoever. Really strange.
[video] 9:28 I've been eating carnivore for a while and then put in some whole plant foods, which again are clinically proven to be the healthiest foods in the world.
9:36 What does that mean, clinically proven?
[video] 9:38 Your gut falls to pieces. Then you're not healing, are you? Please run some gut health diet.
9:44 Yeah, man, you were in the hospital.
[video] 9:47 Diagnostics, SIBO tests, organic acids. and actually ascertain what's wrong with your gut in the first place and treat it. And also, to all the wonderful trolls that said diet must be the cause of my illness, Again, if you're eating animals, you're getting the most cholesterol, so you're the most likely to get this illness.
10:05 According to what this one article or whatever you shared, that's not proof of anything. That's just picking out what you want to believe. That's not actually going after the evidence. Goldstones have been analyzed. We know what they are made out of. There is no mystery behind this.
[video] 10:23 So therefore, you must quit your diet or you're proving yourself to be a massive hypocrite. And you don't want that, do you now? Anyways, round over, I'd like to finish with some final thoughts and insights about my terrible ordeal. This might sound like complete bull****, but I promise you it's true. Given the chance, I don't think I'd change anything. I came away with a lot to be grateful for. Firstly, it gave me a lot of perspective. While I was laying there, in pain, bored and just plain uncomfortable, I started thinking about my physique. I would look like a hot mess and would need to be out of the gym.
10:53 You lay there, you almost died, and then you think about your physique. That sounds like a mental illness.
[video] 10:59 For another six weeks still. I was about to start feeling depressed when I asked the nurse what was wrong with the guy. The guy came the opposite to me. He was needing constant care. Turns out that this keen cyclist had gone headlong into a ditch and was now paralyzed from the neck down. Immediately I thought to myself, the f*** have I got to complain about? I'm constantly promoting mainstream medicine. I liken it to a block sink with a tap left running. They will serve you paper towel after paper towel to clean the mess up with.
[video] 11:41 You do understand that short-chain fatty acids are animal fat, right? You just admitted that animal fat is good for you.
12:03 That's incredibly contradictory to what you just said, man. Why would something that's naturally part of your body be pro-inflammatory? Are you saying that all animals are naturally inflammatory to themselves? What are you saying, man?
[video] 12:20 And also, I developed my hernia years before going vegan, back when I was eating tons of meat. And finally, and most importantly, of course, hernias are not caused by diet. They're caused from straining. But hey, when you want to say that veganism is wrong, you've got to make up. Speaking of love, I've got to pick up my partner, Gemma. My beautiful angel of a fiance was by my side, holding my hand the whole time. One night, when things were particularly bad, she stayed behind four plus hours after visiting time. Despite the fact that she's not a fan of being in trouble, as she puts it, stuff literally had to kick her out.
[video] 12:53 provided me with the best food, been someone to confide in and a shoulder to cry on when needed.
12:59 I've been completely in love... That looked like peace. Peace have oxalates. She brought you food that will produce even more gallstones.
[video] 13:07 ...with this deeply caring, selfless lady for many years now. Now I see how deeply she loves me right back. This ordeal is pulled sharply into focus.
13:17 I'm not saying that she doesn't have good intentions. You're just both ignorant.
[video] 13:22 I don't know what I would have done slash would do without her. Gemma, you are my world. Thank you for being you, my beautiful angel. Being unable to work, I've been able to indulge myself in loads of my favorite things.
[video] 13:40 knowledge from podcasts, videos, etc. Oh yeah, come to think of it, I was even pushing vegan healthy nutrition while I was in hospital. Guy opposite me, Garth, we got chatting about the whole nutrition thing and then he ordered a vegan breakfast, which caused a lot of kerfuffle for the staff. I've also been spending lots of time enjoying my D&D collection, which usually I have very little time for. Been reading my books, writing ventures, hanging all my minis up. stop, reflect and refocus. Speaking of which, I've come to realise that my branding is all wrong. Virtually none of my online coaching clients come to me for hardcore bodybuilding. So why is the channel called Hench Herbivore? The best new name I've come up with so far, I think, is healthy, vegan and fit at any age. My thinking is that many clients like my age is the reason they reached out to me. However, I do have clients as young as 18.
[video] 14:27 at any age thing seems apt. Can you guys think of a better name though? Comment below. I'm gonna be quite limited... A channel name.
14:37 A new channel name. Hospitalized Vegan. No-goal-bladder Vegan.
14:48 Goalstone Vegan, brackets. Veganism didn't cause it. I don't know.
[video] 14:53 I've been making content for a little while longer still. I have a bit of residual pain, a lot of tiredness, although it is getting better. So, you know, I'm just getting really fired up and excited to make the new content of this channel and also my Instagram page.
15:09 It's interesting that he lost his gallbladder because gallbladder is this provignism seeing as the bile is produced to digest animal fat and obviously he didn't need it in that sense anymore. It's too bad that this happened to him, but it's really hard to feel sorry for him just because of how full of himself he is and he still can't admit that plants can be in any way bad. He could also just say, I believe that cholesterol is the cause without any proof, whatever. That's how vegans argue, right? No proof whatsoever. But still say, yes, it could be that oxalates had something to do with it or those vegetable oils which become hard in the body, but no, it's just cholesterol. Even if something much worse would have happened, then they still would have said that plants are always good for you and meat is always bad, no matter what. And it seems as if they're gonna stick to this belief until the very end. Thanks for watching.
