[video] 0:00 I believe that we're not above any individual. We're here to just be their allies. So as we mentioned, we have different groups of activism, so please make sure that you find what works for you. And before we get started, I also want to have one minute of silence for all the individuals that have died, whether it is for food. the entertainment industry, testing, or products. So please, it's nice to gather up and want to join me in a one minute of silence in honor of all the individuals that have passed away throughout the year.

[video] 0:49 It's a moment of silence for all the people who have died.

[video] 1:28 Thank you everyone. I'm just going to take a very deep breath. There's a lot of emotions that everybody that's here has made me come forward and I am really honored to be marching beside you guys. Thank you guys so much. That's a march, yeah. I'm just not vegan. I'm just letting you know. Okay.

[video] 2:03 Okay, but I'm good. I'm alright here. I mean, I'm not an organizer, so I'm just letting you know that. Yeah, I'm not trying to be like, I don't know, I'm just trying to kill words from my life.

[video] 2:23 He said it's okay? Yeah, yeah, I mean, he's not kicking me out or anything, but I'm upsetting people.

[video] 2:50 It's because I'm thirsty. I want to enjoy my vitamin D infused liquid. Is that emotional? Yeah, I think so.

[video] 3:13 You're eating what, Sarah? This is some cow, some beef. It's raw? Mm-hmm. Are you worried about, like, an air cycle? No. You should be. No, it's the healthiest raw. And you get all the vitamins that you need, and you don't denature the protein by cooking it. Well, definitely there's two different protein, denaturization protein stuff that I would definitely be eating. I've been eating it raw for months now. It takes months to get parasitic infections. Are you vegan? How have you felt on that? Fantastic. Really? Yeah. How long? Seven years, totally vegan, and then vegetarian for a long time. No health problems? I'm 50 years old, and I'm working towards my black belt. I'm healthier and more active. I tried vegetarian for three years and it just deteriorated my health and it's irreversible. What should I have done differently?

[video] 4:18 My blood work was all normal. My doctor said I should be healthy. Well, I was really active at the time. I was a runner, competitively, and I would get injured and I didn't heal. I just wouldn't heal. And until I started eating meat again and dairy again, I was able to heal finally.

[video] 4:38 I appreciate that. That's rare. Well, I mean, I think that a lot of people misunderstand vegans are, you know, we have this area type of thing, like angry. Yeah, authoritarian. Yeah, exactly. I think it mostly just comes from...

[video] 5:06 a feeling that you get when you kind of find out the reality, when you've been sort of hoodwinked by our general society to not know what really goes on in slaughterhouses, and then you start finding out this stuff. Like, it comes in a garage. Like, you start seeing videos and you hear about one fact, and then you hear another fact, and then you hear Yeah, and I felt the exact same way because I didn't just do it for my health. I actually first did it for the environment. I was really interested in helping the environment. I was actually a radical environmentalist at the time. So I really thought, I believed in all the things that it said it would do for the environment. But I learned that everything I believed, they were all myths and they were all wrong and that agriculture was really the worst thing for our planet.

[video] 5:53 When you take a piece of land and you strip every living thing off of it, all of the bugs, all of the insects, all of the bacteria and fungi, and larger animals living on that land, I mean, you're killing way more animals. And you're wrecking the topsoil and that's irreparable damage you can never get back.

[video] 6:17 No, I just want to find out about my health. Because this destroyed my health and I'm just trying to care for the planet and my health.

[video] 6:32 I was just thirsty, man. I was trying to...

[video] 6:51 I just came from the store. I just have a question. Sure. How can you say you support animal rights when you literally pay to contribute to their suffering? Because I eat grass-fed cows, grass-fed beef that comes from grass-fed cows, and they live, I know where the farm is, and they live a very happy, healthy life. So that justifies slitting their throats because of taste pleasure. It's not. It's for their nutrition. We can get nutrition without eating animals. No, you can't. You can't get vitamin K, A, or D. Where do you get justification from? What justifies... We're all just dying. Yeah, we're all just dying. Well, none of you guys look very healthy to be honest. Seriously? I don't look healthy. Do you know how old I am? Well, I mean, it fluctuates. I mean, I don't know about anything else, any of your other habits. Well, we have lots of... I didn't say you're not healthy. I said a lot of people here don't look healthy. You should go to a paleo or a keto fest. I think he's on steroids.

[video] 7:57 Can you explain to me where you get your justification from? Why is it wrong to eat meat? How much did the USDA pay you? Zero. I have nutrition. Really? Vitamin D, K, and A. Well, you know you can't get it on a vegan diet. You actually can. How am I alive? Because you have built up excess nutrients in your liver. How long? So you're cannibalizing yourself. I'm actually not. I'm eating no flesh, no secretions. You're eating yourself. You're eating your own body. You're eating your muscle, the nutrients from your liver, and your animal saturated fat. So instead of eating a cow's flesh, you're eating your own. That's why you're so skinny. I'm skinny because I'm healthy. Well, what about me? Explain me then. Because you have metabolic syndrome because all you're eating is sugar and carbohydrates. That's all you can get from plants is sugar. No. No.

[video] 8:50 okay not found in plants vitamins A D and K you can't get those in plants K is actually only found in plants that's not true there are greens inside of the food that you're eating that's not true you're eating flesh yes yes the cow metabolizes it where do you think they get it from we're not the same as cows we don't function like cows we can't turn beta carotene into vitamin A yes we can No, we can't. Yes, we absolutely can. We've been doing it for many years. That's not true. Are you drinking? I'm sorry? Are you drinking milk? Raw goat milk, yes. Really? Why? Oh, well, first of all, it tastes good. Clearly he's a baby goat. I didn't realize you were a baby goat. Do I have to be to drink milk? Yes. Okay, why? Because your mother didn't feed her breast milk to other babies, did she? They have to take that from a baby dog in order to give it to you. But what if I just like it? Is that a problem? It is, because it's actually not, but it doesn't belong to you. What if I like to kill people? Does that make it okay to do it? What justifies that? What justifies that? That's what I'm asking you. My appetite. So? My biological need.

[video] 9:49 So if I have an appetite, that's not a problem. That's his nutritional requirements. Is that equal to drinking milk? You wanting to kill people? Me wanting milk? Well, you're killing babies by taking their food. That's what it is. By buying this at Sprouts. I just went to Sprouts, and now I'm a murderer? Well, you pay someone to do it. What's the difference? So you guys pay taxes? Yeah. So you guys are murderers too, just like me. So how are you judging me then? I'm not judging you guys. You came here to try and prove it. No, I just wanted to support animal rights while drinking my milk. That's all I wanted to do. You just came here on a whim with your goat milk. I live around here. Yeah. If you support animal rights, you would respect their rights. Yeah, we eat grass-fed animals. I know where this came from. What's that? We fucking eat plants. What does that mean about us? Because the animal was happy. So is that animal superior because they eat grass? Yes, it has more nutrients. It was a happier life. Does that make me superior? No, because you can't use the nutrients that are found in plants. It doesn't make it okay. It doesn't matter what they ate. I'm telling you, you can't. Your body doesn't use that. But why though?

[video] 10:48 Because you have excess nutrients from when you used to eat meat in your liver. Your liver. Then your mother. No, she didn't. Okay, well her mother. You have excess buildup in your liver that you use. You don't get generational nutrients. Yes, you do. Yes, you do. Yes, you do. That's why some people are born with more vitamin A than others. It doesn't materialize out of thin air. That doesn't happen. No, it's a lineage that you got from your mother and she got from hers. Yes, you get vitamin A in the womb. Yes, you do. I'm not going to argue with science. We judge rapists. We judge anybody who abuses animals. The only animals that get atherosclerosis are herbivores. And guess what? We're animals and we get atherosclerosis. Because you eat plants. Yeah. And you can get atherosclerosis only from eating animal protein. That's it. That's the only way to get it. You just said that animals who eat plants get atherosclerosis. We are the only ones who can if we eat animal protein. That doesn't make sense. You understand that.

[video] 11:47 No, that doesn't make sense. Well, it's scientific facts. It's actually not something that's up for debate. Well, you don't think that... You can't get nutrients from plants. We can though. No, you can't. You can get some. You can't get vitamins D, A, or K. That's indisputable. No, it's not indisputable. It's exactly what we've been doing for many years. That's science. What's many years? Yeah, you have excess. You have storage in your liver. That's what the liver does. We don't. The liver actually cleanses itself. It cleanses itself. The liver stores nutrients and toxins. Yes, it does. No, you're alive. Sure. This is almost harassment. You know it's harassment. No, you are. You're saying because I want their milk, I'm going to...

[video] 12:37 I would say it's not because I'm benefiting from it. I'm getting healthy nutrients. It's not about you. Stop it. It was a healthy animal. It was grass-fed. Why would you do this to another animal? Why? So then why can you kill an innocent human? It's not morally justifiable. This is why Jeffrey Dahmer was convicted. So are you pro-life? What is this? What you're saying, it doesn't matter what you believe. Would you ever kill a baby? Let me tell you something. It doesn't matter what you believe. Legal abortions are only done to unsentient fetuses. You understand that? They aren't sentient. How do you know they're not sentient? They're science. Do you know what science is? So at what week, tell me, what week does a baby have sentience? What you're saying is that this... Okay, so all abortions after month two are bad? And they shouldn't be done? No, they're not. No, it's up to six months. Roe v. Wade legalized... Let me tell you something. It doesn't matter. No matter what you believe. That's wrong. It's not two months. It's six. Roe v. Wade legalized abortion up to six months for no reason.

[video] 13:36 Okay, whether you're pro-life or pro-choice... Is that... What... Can I have milk? Can I have an egg? But you can have a baby. Let me finish. The thing is that whether you're pro-life or pro-choice, it doesn't matter because what you're saying is that the life of this fully grown cow... I'm pro-human life. I'm pro-my life. ...who we know has feelings for a fact, you're saying that it's more important for you to take their life? What you're saying doesn't make any sense. Yes, my life is above the life of a cow, regardless of grass-fed or not. Why? Because. Because we were put on the earth to eat these animals. That's a fact. Why not? By God, I believe, but we don't have to bring religion into this. Did God tell you that specifically? Did he come down into this? Oh, what? Are you really going to be condescending towards my faith? Thanks. I'm not. You're not. Yeah, that's a sarcastic question. The thing is that if you're really about God and the Bible, which I'm not, if you believe in compassion, what you're doing is the opposite. You're blatantly eating an animal that felt, that loved, that had a family. And what you're saying is, if we're all equal, if we're compassionate...

[video] 14:36 But you know what? I'm okay with this, because this flesh, the flesh from the cow, this cow had a healthy life. And I'm benefiting from it. My dog has a healthy life, but I would never go up to him and slit his throat and eat him. Never. And nothing can justify that. Well, I'm getting good nutrition from it. It's not about me. It doesn't matter. Yes, rape is wrong. No, I'm saying it is about humans, and I cannot be healthy on a vegan diet. It will kill you. Really? How are we all here? You cannot get vitamins D, K, or A from plants. Really? What's this in the sunlight? That's vitamin D. That's what that is. And you know that what he's drinking is fortified with vitamin D? That one isn't. That's goat milk. Go look. That's raw goat milk. It has nothing added to it. 70% of the population is deficient in vitamin D. Did you know that? What about vitamin A and K? What about vitamin A? School me about vitamin A. Tell me it comes from carrots because it does not. No, it does not. No, our body does not use that and it's not actual true vitamin A. Your body does not convert that. What is your source?

[video] 15:35 Go look it up. I have a pile of papers right next to me, clearly. Where are they? They're on the floor. Look at them. They're right here. Where are your sources? Why would you penalize me for sources? Google what I'm saying. Google it up. Well, have you tried? Because I don't believe what you're saying is real. Cellulose will kill you. Plants will kill you. Do you know what the number one killer in the world is? Tell me, since you know everything. It's heart disease. From plants. You know that? From plants, really? Yeah, it comes from plants. No, cholesterol comes from eating animals. No. No, cholesterol will save you. It will heal you. Then how is it clogging arteries and killing people? Tell me how. What? A plant-based diet is the only proven thing to reverse heart disease. The number one killer in the world. That's not true. Look at primitive people. All they eat is whale blubber. And guess what? They live to like 25 long enough to reproduce. They drink blood and eat fat. And they live a long time. I see you have a camera and you want to talk about living like a caveman who lived to like 25 long enough to reproduce?

[video] 16:34 Are you a caveman? I don't think so. So since I'm not a primitive person, I can't use a camera? I don't think God would like you using that movie camera. Are you going to put it down? Are you going to break it? What? What I'm saying is you're justifying eating this animal because you say God says so. What else? Are you wearing two different fabrics together? Yes, so if you look at primitive people, I'm not an orthodox Jew. Well, I'm not an orthodox Jew. No, just the Bible says so. Yeah, that's the Old Testament. So, you know, Jews go by the Old Testament. Okay, so you want to talk about cavemen. First of all, the evolution. You just said you were a Christian. I never said caveman. You said caveman. I said primitive person. Oh, people have been doing it. That's the same thing. No, it's not. No, there are still primitive tribes in Alaska that eat whale blubber and blood, and that's all they eat. You call them primitive. Because they live elsewhere and they live a different way. They live a different way, but that doesn't verify evolution, and they're not a different species. Okay, they're the same species. According to you guys, I'm the rapist. No, I didn't call you a rapist. You're supporting an industry that rapes animals. Okay, well, I'll define rape. I'm a rapist. By association.

[video] 17:35 Okay, so then I'm a rapist. You're paying for somebody to rape an animal for you. But is that moral? What is moral? You don't know morals. What do you want it done to yourself? You're admitting to being a rapist. Do you think that's moral? To forcibly get raped? Would you want, like, let's say somebody went up to your mother and they took you and they exploited you, they took you away from her, because I like the way her breast milk tastes. Against her will? You guys feel really guilty about it. That's why you came.

[video] 18:19 No, I feel bad because I wrecked my health on a vegetarian diet for three years. And now I'm healing. So I wasn't doing it right? Do you want to have something interesting to say?

[video] 18:36 You know, it's just really sad that you need attention. I'm really sorry. And, you know, it's full of E. coli and salmonella. I'm really concerned for your health. And I'd like to see the day someday, you know, see the light and go, yeah, we all do. And most of us are against that as well. You know what, you have the right to be here. It's all good. You already agreed, yeah, but I don't have any control where my tax dollars go, unfortunately. Thank you. Yeah, you think I don't want to go into war? Because I don't. How do I control my taste buds from wanting nutrition, from wanting milk? It's from conditioning. You grew up eating these things. I was actually a vegetarian my whole life. Vegetarian? It's the same thing. You're eating animals. You're paying for animals to be abused. Same thing. Well, how come I love red meat? How come I love raw fish? There's people who eat dead sharks. I can love God. Jeffrey Dahmer loved eating young men. Are they rapists, though? Yes. So according to you guys, I'm a rapist? Yes. Well, the cops are right there.

[video] 19:34 You guys should report me for being a rapist. Eventually it'll be a law, and then you'll be on the outside, buddy. Sounds like totalitarianism. You guys are authoritarian. Why are you trying to push an unhealthy diet on me? I want to live. We want to live. Why are you trying to kill me with your diet? Our diet is completely healthy.

[video] 19:59 I guarantee you are nutrient deficient. You cannot get vitamin K or A from a vegan diet. No, you cannot get them from plants. No, you cannot. I am telling you, there is not the true form of vitamin A in a plant. Yeah, there is. And you need that to live. Right now, you're getting it from your liver storage. No, I'm not. 17 years. My liver doesn't have 17 years worth of vitamins. Yeah, it does, and it's running out. That's why you're not healthy. Yeah, it's going to slowly, you're going to slowly deteriorate. Well, we'll see. Okay. You're gambling with your life. It's your health. I realize I've heard of people being vegan for 30 years and they get out of it because their spine degenerates and they get, they get Hashimoto's disease. They get diabetes and they start, they die from it. They get rotten teeth. My teeth are great. My blood work has been great every year. Mine was too. Mine was too for three years.

[video] 20:58 And I would not heal. I was supposed to be healthy, but I was not. Supplements will not help you because you need an animal supplement. I remember when I was smoking cigarettes, I smoked cigarettes for two years. You need to eat animals. You cannot get the vitamin from there. Yeah, you know what? I stopped eating meat 25 years ago. 27 years ago, actually. And I think I'm doing pretty good for 54. Okay. Still got it all tight and going on at 54. There you go. She looks great. Yeah, she's hot stuff. Yeah. Okay.

[video] 21:32 I'm telling you, you're going to deteriorate. I'm doing this. I'm doing this for my health. And I was in your place once. I was. I was brainwashed. I liken what I was as a mental illness. I'll see you on the track. Yeah, I was a runner too.

[video] 21:49 I want to bring to light other people who might have health problems that you're not, you probably have health problems you're not talking about. Because you're vegan, you shouldn't have any health problems. You should be perfect human, right? But I bet you have health problems that you're not talking about. Why are you here? Because you're accusing me. You're saying, why am I here? I'm here because I care about health. Why is it a problem for vegan? If it works for us, why is it, you know? Because I care about humanity. And I hate seeing people feed, especially babies and children, this toxic diet. Define what judging is. Yeah, we constantly judge and analyze as human beings. Right. Yeah. So then, yeah. And I tried veganism out, man. And I could never come up with a relevatory justification for telling people to do what I do. Yeah. Because if I do, then I sound religious. And then I actually tried that, but I couldn't back up. I couldn't back up my, uh, the, uh, The non-aggression principle, I couldn't defend it because they're saying, the rebuttal I get is, well, why should I? Why should I? And I would just say, because, because.

[video] 22:48 So that's all, man. That's a good point. I listen to, there's a guy named James Aspey. I don't know if you've ever heard of James Aspey. He's over YouTube. Yeah, I should follow him. Yeah, so he does a really good job on compassionate advocacy without being overly judgmental, I think. And so, yeah, that's a good point, you know? And the fact that you tried being anything before kind of gives you more of a perspective than most people. You know what I mean? Yeah, so like I said, it's very new to me, but I've been a fitness trainer for 17 years. Many fitness companies that I've started up and down the California coast and consulted people in New York, the UK, France, so we have a lot of reach. And we always had a detox program that we would teach people, but you could do a meat option, a vegetarian option, or a vegan option in our detox program. So with that, but now I didn't really expose myself to all the knowledge that I understand now. about heart disease and what leads up to it.

[video] 23:48 So, you know, with the extra education, then I started to go, oh, okay, let me look into this more. Just started to ask questions out of curiosity. Started to look into the animal agriculture. Like I said, my dad's a butcher, so I used to work in the butcher shop when I was a kid, and there was hanging beef and hanging pigs, and I used to have to go in and scrape the dead animal flesh off of the sawblitz, and it would make me want to throw up. I would constantly sit there. You know, that's one of those things. I just couldn't stomach it. But I kept eating meat for another 20 years after that. And I never really thought anything of it. You know, I thought that was the healthiest way to go. I told my clients, you've got to have protein. You've got to eat meat. You know what I mean? I'm pushing it on them. Talk about judgment. You know, here I am, a trainer, and I'm pushing them. But it's just about society. What do we, you know, we all condition ourselves in different ways. from different backgrounds, different cultures. So I think, yeah, I hear what you're saying. It could be way too judgmental. Anyone that's coming at you guys in a judgmental way, I'm so sorry about that.

[video] 24:48 Yeah, no, you know, you brought up James Aspey. He taught a lot of Eastern Tibetan Buddhist teachings. And I don't know, you can call that a religion too.

[video] 24:59 You can kind of call that religious, too. So when I actually was studying Christian occult, because I spent a lot of time over there in Cerritos on Artigia Boulevard, Little India, and it's all vegetarian food. That's where I used to go when I was a vegetarian, and they all had doctrine to... to promote this diet and they I understood it but then when I get when I get a vegan you know like I did earlier telling me that I'm a rapist right I'm being told by this they're telling me without any they're more religious and if they're coming across as more religious then the first of all yeah

[video] 25:39 Middle Eastern teachings from Artesia. They have nothing but vegetarian and vegan restaurants. So I just want to know how can you justify judging me by calling me a rapist? without any doctrine or revelatory justification. That's all. That's a really excellent point. I'm still searching for that. I would say too that it's something to consider that there is a spectrum of people that are vegan that maybe some might have a harsher view like, hey, Never drink milk, you're a rapist. Hey, never eat meat, you're a slaughterer, right? And then there's another vegan that might say, hey, cool, I used to eat that too. You know, I totally understand your point of view. So you might get a whole spectrum. And I can understand the religious zealotry and even the overly compassionate person that's a little bit blame and shame on you because here... What they're doing is, I mean, they're putting all their feelings out. Their emotions are here today, right?

[video] 26:38 And their emotions are right here on a platter. And so they're like, save this. For them, that pig's right there being slaughtered. For them. You know, it's like somebody's about to cut their throat. And so they see the milk and they're at this emotional tipping point. And then they're like, rapist. Right? Which is totally uncalled for. But the emotional tipping point. Mm-hmm. is what allows for that person to make a bad judgment. Does that make sense? Well, here's the thing. Do you think that has something to do with nutrition? Because I know that low levels of DHA cause high cortisol levels and that causes more stress. Because when I was a vegan, I was emotional all the time. I was no different than them. And I was pushing this with my coworkers and friends and getting into arguments and judging them and talking about reincarnation because I actually found...

[video] 27:25 uh you know the christian pull it or just uh indian christian yeah yeah so i was pushing that and yeah so you were in that are you still in that no no not anymore no you kind of broke out of that eastern orthodox christianity now yeah yeah okay so you can say i'm brainwashing out so well it's good i think you have a high level of awareness brother and you have so many perspectives yeah thank you man i really appreciate that i'm surprised i can talk to someone because after what just happened but then again i I didn't come to prejudge and I just, you know, I take everything five minutes at a time because I used to judge. I used to judge people. My veganism was a perfect example. And so it doesn't bother me when they... I understand that this is going to bother them, but I just came here for answers to get justification for what they're doing. We can go through studies. I'm not interested in studies. I just want to know why is it bad to... to eat a pig, to eat an animal. I just want to know why. Yeah, there probably is a lot that I still have to learn.

[video] 28:24 I've been learning a lot every day on both sides of the fence. There's obviously, with meat, it's been classified as processed meats are a class one. carcinogen which is the same cigarettes and then we have red meats and chicken and fish class two which may cause cancer not definitely but they say may okay so um so we know that there's a risk factor okay um you know and it's interesting i'll have to look into the the dha levels um you know on the conversion into dha yeah there's a lot of murders that have been taking place and i don't know if you heard about the vegan ship they shot his uh 11 year old 11 month old

[video] 29:03 daughter and his 11 or 12 year old son and his wife he had a breakdown and he was vegan for almost 10 years he lost a lot of weight he was a big guy but uh yeah he just uh that's great started out with the cops too on christmas yeah that's there's other um murderers that are yeah there's a vegetarian who was stabbing women on the street yeah and we just have to look at that on a case-by-case basis like i know meat eaters that have done crazy stuff too there was this guy down the street that killed his daughter with a baseball bat, put him in the fridge, and shot his wife and shot himself. You know what I mean? But you never know what's going on behind the scenes. Yeah, we can get into studies and all that stuff too. Yeah, but it'd be worth checking out. I'll definitely look into it. Okay, yeah, yeah. If you're going to look into that, man, I would recommend looking into it. I don't know if you're familiar with globalists like Alex Huxley and the guy who wrote 1984. Orson Welles.

[video] 29:57 They basically predicted that we're going to have substitutes in the future and that we're going to live in smart cities. These smart cities are going to determine how long we're going to live. We're all carrying these cell phones. It's not too much longer until we all download our information straight straight from the cloud, right? yes pretty crazy well we have soylent that guy soy lent so this guy yeah this guy thought that eating was an inconvenience to his life so it's basically like this soy protein with vitamins that you drink crazy you know and i know a guy that tried to prove weight loss by eating twinkies and nothing but twinkies like come on i mean yeah yeah it could be calories inverse calorie out but you're putting crap in your body yeah um but I'm sorry, I didn't get your name? Forrest. Forrest. No, my name is Moses, man. Nice to meet you. Moses. Thanks for talking to us. Thanks, man. I appreciate it. That's what I actually came here, we actually came here just to talk. Constructive, but they just throw, where are your studies? They don't exist. Yeah. And then I don't know where to go from there.

[video] 30:55 Well, it's, I'm still informing myself. All I can say is my own experience, really, and I've definitely felt better because I've eaten meat, you know, and drank tons of milk and eaten tons of cheese. We're foodies, you know what I mean? We went to France and we ate our way through France just cheese, you know what I mean? Wow. Yeah, since I was, I don't know how old you are, but I'm 41. And I thought that was pretty young, but I was literally getting arthritis in my ankles. I was like, what the hell? I would get up every morning and just hurt. My ankles would be super tight and like painful. And when I went to veganism, went to plant-based, that pain went away and my joints stopped hurting. And also I started to feel just more energy. I needed less sleep. So I was like, huh, I got to look into this. I got to find out what's going on with my body, right? Because I like to try different things, right? And I've done paleo, ketogenic, you know, Atkins. You know, as a trainer, I've had to guinea pig myself for my clients, obviously, right?

[video] 31:52 So this is the first time, though, in 41 years I've ever tried, like, your full-on veganism. So to try it and feel good with it and then go, wait a second, let me look into this a little bit more. Yeah, you got to watch out for B12. There's a supplement for that. But if you compare it now to the standard American diet, where the number one disease, the number one killer is heart disease. And then it's also linked to cancers, diabetes. I'm finding all my friends are coming out with cancer. I'm like, what is going on? My sister-in-law and her sister both have breast cancer. And they're in recovery. But they never even consider linking it to what they're eating. It's not even a question. The doctors don't even bring it up. Doctors aren't educated about nutrition at all. Not really, right? They don't even ask. They're educated in the medicine and the surgery. To prescribe. That's what brings the money in. Yeah. So... So far you're recovering, you feel good? Yeah, dude, I feel really good. Six weeks in, you said? Yeah, my head feels better.

[video] 32:50 I did have two off days in six weeks where I realized I didn't eat enough calories. Oh, wow. So, you know, you've got to be careful you're eating enough. So that was the one thing, and balance. So I'm eating pumpkin seeds, I get iron and protein from the pumpkin seeds. I eat oats, I eat fruits and vegetables, and I've tried some of the food that, you know, because I love hamburgers. The Impossible Burger. Yeah, I tried it for the first time just two days ago, and it was bomb. It was super bomb. Yeah, and I was like, oh, dang. And the other thing was, I'm an ice cream guy. Ben & Jerry's, I've been to the factory in Vermont, love Ben & Jerry's, right? And I was like, damn, I can't go vegan. Yeah. I can't do it. I love ice cream. And I don't like that crap ice cream either. I like real ice cream. Right. Me too. I was up in Big Bear and I went into a Ben and Jerry's and I was like, you guys got any dairy free? And he was like, as a matter of fact, we do. And they gave me this like this caramel brittle like vanilla.

[video] 33:49 And I was like, all right, skeptical. bit into it super creamy super good i was like yes i can do this now right so that was like a victory for me anyways uh yeah um i realized that there's a lot of options a lot of food doesn't have to be expensive you know the least expensive uh You know, foods can be vegan. Potatoes, rice, pasta. I can go to Chipotle, get a big fat burrito. You know what I mean? So I'm not... It's doable. Have you looked into anti-nutrients from a plant-based diet? Are you familiar with that? I'd have to look into that, and I would love to. Yeah, because they're basically... It's a defense mechanism for plants, and they can't tell the difference between being in your intestines than in the soil. So a lot of these plants, when they sprout, they throw, you can call them anti-nutrients, but they're basically chemicals that's a defense mechanism so that no... Stops the absorption of the nutrients? Oh, for us it does.

[video] 34:46 Yeah, but these nutrients are a protective mechanism for other... animals so they don't disturb their growth. And so this releases in the body. A lot of people soak their beans in water overnight. So that's an example of how to get rid of them, but you also get rid of the nutrient content from these foods. So I would say look into anti-nutrients because what happened to me, I looked into this and your body can convert anything, but it ends up pulling from your bone marrow. And yeah, a lot of people lose weight. So if you can look into that because the best You don't have to agree with me on this, but the best source of vitamins and nutrients is from human flesh, which your body will take from its own. Because you have vitamin A stores, you've got B12 stores in your liver, usually you have like five-year... fuel source in your liver stores. So when that wears out, there's a lot of people who are ditching the vegan diet.

[video] 35:45 So I would just say, you don't have to agree with me on that, but I just thought I would share that with you so you can look into that. The flesh retains the nutrients, is what you're saying. Yeah, and when that runs out, then people have been getting complications. So I would say look up anti-nutrients and see if you can come up with a way to still absorb the nutrient content from the plants without getting these toxins that are blocking the absorption. I'm sure there's so much still that I need to learn, and I appreciate you bringing that to my awareness. Yeah, no problem. I'm going to study up on it. Like absorption, the DHA, for sure I want to check into that.

[video] 36:21 still understanding b12 you know it comes from the earth and cows or pigs they'll get it from the earth we used to get it from the earth when we used to pick a carrot up and we used to just kind of dust it off and eat it we'd get our b12 because b12 is a bacteria that lives in the soil but since we don't do do our gardening holistically anymore um we the soil is depleted yeah the soil is depleted and stuff like that so taking a b12 supplement um but besides that there's still a lot to learn awesome man uh Yeah, I appreciate it. Yeah, anytime. Forced, right? Yeah. Nice talking to you, man. Nice to meet you. What's your name? Lauren. Lauren. Thank you, Lauren. Appreciate it. Thank you. Can I get a selfie with you guys? Yeah, sure, man. Just to know that we got a good conversation here. Awesome. Yeah, definitely. Yeah, appreciate that. All right.

[video] 37:05 Thanks, man. Yeah, that shows that people are willing to talk. Yeah. Definitely, yeah. That's what we're here to do, man. Yeah. That was good. Take care. Take care, man. All right.

[video] 37:14 Productive. Yeah. But, dude, that guy's great, but... Oh, yeah. The girls I had, they were just like, where's your studies? They don't exist. I just heard, oh, my gosh. It was really, like, unproductive. Thank you for filming. I appreciate it. And then I was like, I gotta cut this off, you know?
