0:00 Hey, what's up guys? I'm going to be reviewing Brian Johnson's latest video called 8 Steps to Reclaim Your Life.

[video] 0:23 He talks about feeling great but he shows a clip of him running.

0:51 Where he feels bad. Weird. Here's the best part. You do nothing.

[video] 0:58 Repeat.

[video] 1:02 This is not a motivational video. This is not self-help fluff. This is systems-level personal alignment. Most people are under-informed, over-stimulated, and biologically misaligned. We didn't choose this environment, but we are responsible for how we respond to it. Today, I want to show you how to realign your life, not through motivation or hacks, but through a set of principles that actually work. Eight steps to move you from stuck and depleted to aligned, capable, and fully engaged with your life.

1:35 Of course, principles. This means that he will be talking about rules, essentially. And that makes sense because he lives counter-intuitively. In reality, all that you need to do is follow your intuition and you will be healthy, happy, you will live a long life. But seeing as he lives counterintuitively, he believes that you should be following some kind of principles. You should be following the rules of other people to be happy and healthy.

[video] 2:14 Scientists have confirmed that the future is dim. Life as we know it is going downhill seemingly forever. Brian Johnson has announced that YOLO is dead and that he plans to reach immortality by the year 2039. That's you. That's us. And you? I'm you. But how? Eh, the Brian verse. It gets complicated. The point is, I'm you in the future, and my life is awesome. So much better than whatever this is. Today marks the death of YOLO and the beginning of Don't Die. Don't die? What the... Do you want to die? Well, I mean, eventually. Do you want to die today? Definitely not today. Exactly. Look, I know life feels grim, but the truth is you're out of alignment with it. This year, we're going to fix it for good. I mean, it sounds nice, but I wouldn't even know where to start. Oh, I'll show you where to start. Who are you talking to?

[video] 3:14 Roll the tape.

3:16 step one do hard his videos are good he has a great editing team but the message is so wrong he could be doing a lot of good for people things 44 degrees and it's nice and rainy outside nothing changes until you're willing to be on Oh my God, do hard things. Something that is hard will feel uncomfortable. And discomfort essentially means guaranteed disease. That's what discomfort is. It's a... Sick state, essentially. The more discomfort you feel in your life, the sicker you will be. You will look old, you will have a lot of wrinkles.

[video] 4:04 He says that with those under eye bags. And that's what you will get if you wake up at 4am.

[video] 4:22 Most people aren't stuck because they don't know what to do. They're stuck because they're comfortable. Excuses sound reasonable. I don't have time.

4:33 We are stuck because we live in a slave system in the first place. That's why you need motivation to do something hard. But in general, if you listen to a motivational speech before doing something, then you will be doing something which is bad for you. Because when it comes to something that makes you happy and healthy, you don't need a motivational speech for that, obviously. You know that. Do you need a motivational speech before you're intimate with somebody? before you go out into the sun, before you eat natural food? When you have a plate of steak tartare in front of you, do you need to listen to a motivational speech before eating it because it's so hard to eat tasty food, sashimi?

5:28 Do you need a motivational speech before playing with your children outside in the sunlight, having fun? No, you need that before doing something which will feel uncomfortable because this is bad for you. Hard things are bad. They make you sick. and weak. It won't really matter.

[video] 5:51 This is just who I am. Friends, most of what holds you back isn't reality. It's the stories you repeat. Stories that feel convincing, but they aren't truth. You have the power to change the narrative, but this requires friction. Stepping outside the stories can keep you safe. I urge you to make the decision. You can do hard things.

6:12 He said that this is not a motivational video, but it's just like all of them so far. Point one is horrible. Do the opposite. Must. Look at those dark eye circles. Can you take him seriously? Come on.

[video] 6:28 Do hard things. Everything worth doing is hard. And the more worth doing it is.

6:34 Oh, really? So everything that I named before is not worth doing. So just suffer, be unhappy, feel pain all the time. Great. That's the kind of life that every animal intuitively wants. Or does every animal seek comfort, health, happiness? Which one is it?

6:58 harder it is start where you're at and do something that's maybe a little bit out of your comfort zone maybe a little bit of a challenge and see how it goes take ownership of everything in your world the good and the bad this is how these people are simply trying to motivate you to do something that is bad for you that's why it feels bad Yes, growth, aging.

[video] 7:23 Growth is aging. This is the beginning of your downfall.

[video] 7:47 unbelievable this guy the end is the beginning most self-help videos start with the perfect morning routine everyone knows if you win the morning you win the day your morning routine is actually the most important part of your whole day but that's where they fall short because the truth is your day doesn't begin when you wake up it begins the night before Every successful morning starts with an early night. The secret to owning your mornings doesn't begin with an alarm clock. It begins in the quiet hours before sleep. Your morning routine begins the night before. In order to regain control, clarity, and alignment, it all starts with sleep. There's a global sleep loss epidemic.

8:20 All of these motivational speakers, influencers look old and sick.

[video] 8:26 Shaked by this thing called the modern world. Every single thing that you do, you do better with a good night's sleep. Make sleep your number one priority above everything else.

8:38 It shouldn't be a priority, but yes, good sleep is super important, but it's just something that your body does. It's automatic. It shouldn't be something that you think about at all.

[video] 8:52 Sounds counterintuitive.

8:54 Do you think that humans in nature... Sounds counterintuitive. Huh? Whatever. Humans in nature, of course, don't think about when they will sleep. Oh, it's... 10 p.m. There is no time. It doesn't even exist. Humans made this up.

[video] 9:14 But I promise you'll be more productive, more energetic, more present for the people you care about. The benefits aren't subtle. They compound. So become a professional sleeper. It starts with a wind-down ritual. Something you do every night with no exceptions. These aren't just habits. They're instructions. Finish your last meal at least four hours before bed. Give...

9:36 Yes, meal, but where is the meal, Brian? I just see some green leaves for rabbits. And these green leaves are man-made. They don't even exist in nature anyway. If you want to eat a proper vegan plant-based diet, then go to a forest. and eat the actual wild green leaves, the grass, some branches, flowers. Actually, he does eat flowers.

[video] 10:04 Give your body time to digest. Slow down and enter.

10:08 Give your body time to digest, but you cannot digest this fake food. Repair mode.

[video] 10:15 Lower the lights. Eliminate blue light. Shut off screens. Remove stimulation. Prepare your mind for sleep.

10:25 read walk you can eliminate blue light but don't replace it with red light that's a way stranger breathe stretch meditate feel that that's your resting heart rate lowering

[video] 10:45 quietly predicting the high quality sleep to come. If your sleep is best, you will be at your best. Having good sleep habits and consistent sleep habits actually can help you heal. Go to bed at the same time every night. No exceptions. Because when sleep is aligned, everything else follows.

[video] 11:06 Step three, start your day with purpose. The first few hours after waking, quietly decide the fate of the rest of the day. Most people wake up already behind, reacting, rushing, scrolling, absorbing chaos before they've even left the bedroom. And then they wonder why their life feels scattered. Chaos in the morning becomes chaos everywhere else. This is why a morning routine matters, not because it's...

11:31 We live in a chaotic system. Nature is the ultimate perfect order in this reality, and this man-made system promotes chaos. If you live in a chaotic system, then your life will feel chaotic. And that's what people are experiencing today. There is no way out of it unless you get out of the system or live as naturally as you can. You can eat natural food. You can be in the sun. There are some things which you can do, but

12:11 There's a lot that you won't be able to. That's the problem. And this will make your life feel chaotic.

[video] 12:19 But because consistency creates stability and stability gives you the leverage over your day. Wake up at the same time, every day. Get bright light in your eyes, sunlight if it's available, full spectrum light if it's not. Move your body, walk, stretch, breathe. Nothing heroic, just enough to shift from passive to present. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on a second.

12:45 You don't need to stretch or even walk if you don't want to. Simply do exactly what you want to.

[video] 12:55 live intuitively as much as you can and two things first i'm not a morning person and second that bedtime routine no screens no tick tock hmm yes that is a problem and we will get to that i don't know future brian this sounds like a lot of work fear not young unc you can do hard things now may i continue Step four, future-proof your body. Exercise isn't about today, it's about who you're allowed to be at 60, 80, 100. Being sedentary, being physically inactive is...

13:30 Wait, let's go back, wait, wait. At 60, 80... That will be him at 80, yeah, sure. 100. And at 100, wow. So delusional.

[video] 13:44 Being sedentary, being physically inactive is a disease.

13:48 There's nothing... A disease. Being sedentary. Living like all humans in nature. Wow. These people. And all of them look so old. That's the funniest part. Rhonda Patrick? It's interesting, you cannot find her age online. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not able to. And the question is why? If she looks young for her age, if what she's doing is working, why doesn't she tell us how old she is? It's really interesting, right? That should make you question what she's saying.

[video] 14:26 More important for maintaining health and wellness than taking care of muscle health. Most people treat movement like an optional habit, something to fit in if there's time. But the truth is the body adapts to what you ask of it.

14:39 Movement is one thing. Movement is normal, natural, and actually intuitive. Nobody wants to stand still. But exercise, exertion, Chronic stress is not normal. It's not intuitive. You have to watch some motivational speech to do that. And as I said before, remember this for the rest of your life. If you have to watch a motivational speech to do something, it's unhealthy.

[video] 15:08 it or to what you don't resistance training or endurance training that's a stimulus for stress and the adaptation to that stress is how you get better weight training is one of those things where you get a yes but what gets better just name one thing Movement is not negotiable intuitively. As I said, you want to do it. Unless you feel sick, then you will want to lay in bed all day long.

15:47 And in that case, that's good again. That's healthy because it's intuitive. You feel sick and you rest. But when you're not sick, nobody wants to lay in bed all day long. Build strength. Practice mobility. Flexibility. Train your... You don't need to practice anything. For what? Just to age your body? Just to die prematurely? No. Heart. Increase your VO2 max. Why would you increase it? The guy with the highest VO2 max on Earth at 27, he looked like he's in his 40s already. That disproves the whole idea. The higher your VO2 maxes, the more stressed you are, the sooner you will die.

[video] 16:35 Each of these are major predictors of longevity. Yes, we all want to look hot and be jacked. That's an excellent benefit. But this is really about lifelong ability. It's the difference between independence and dependence. Train now so your future self stays resilient, building a body that carries you forward. Step five, treat food as medicine. Food isn't just food, it's medicine. It's fuel, and over time, it becomes your health.

17:02 Food is not really food or medicine, if you define it the way humans today define food. It's energy, really. It is life itself. When you eat food, then you become vibrant, full of energy. And if you eat garbage, which is what Brian eats, then you will feel like garbage. Look at some footage of... a dog who was found with his ribs showing really skinny, malnourished. And then look at what happens to the dog when the dog is fed raw meat or even cooked meat, really good food. You will see that the life comes back. That's what food is.

17:53 You kill animals in nature, you consume their organs and their blood, and you become stronger and healthier yourself, and then you reproduce. The way people see food today is wrong, but the way Brian sees it is also wrong. It's not a medicine.

[video] 18:13 ...or your illness. This is one of the hardest shifts for people to make. Not because it's complicated, but because the system is stacked against you. It's laughable, we don't have the safest food system in the world. Ultra-processed foods in the UK and the US are being linked to around 14% of early deaths. We live in a food environment designed to exploit human weakness. Additives, sugar, hyperpalatable combinations engineered to keep...

18:36 Right, what you saw there was just some grain sludge, some slime made out of seeds. Then they create different kinds of forms, noodles, cookies, bread. They add sugar to it, all kinds of additives, and then you swallow that. Try eating cookies without sugar, you won't be able to. Try eating noodles without cheese, tomato sauce, you won't be able to.

[video] 19:04 But then he shows this poisonous green garbage with some slime on top, some seed slime.

19:32 Almond butter or whatever he uses, macadamia butter. Eat clean protein, unprocessed carbohydrates. Clean protein, and then he shows his supplement. Fruits, vegetables, healthy fats. Healthy fats, avocado with grain sludge, bread. Unbelievable, this guy. Where are the organs? Where is the blood? Where is the bone marrow, the brain? Which is what humans eat in nature. The fuck is wrong with you, man? Why do you do this?

[video] 20:09 Reduce aggressively processed foods, added sugar, artificial additives.

20:14 You only eat processed foods. Was there anything unprocessed in the bowl, in the package, the powder that you sell? It's all processed. You don't eat anything in its natural state. You don't even eat natural food.

[video] 20:32 Dies, alcohol and smoking. A simple truth. All food is guilty until proven innocent. Yes, it's harder, but the alternative is harder later. What's the biggest threat to our dietary health today? Ultra processed foods. Do you have a healthy relationship with food? Have a think about it.

20:48 And I'll say this from experience. If you're tired, unmotivated... Brian Johnson simply showed you less processed versions of the same garbage which you find in the supermarket shelves. He didn't show any healthy natural food. And that would be... Animals in their raw state, this is what we are supposed to eat.

[video] 21:13 Moody, poor food choices are almost always the culprit.

21:16 Fix what you eat and you don't just... A burger from McDonald's is healthier than what Brian eats 100% because of the meat and the cheese.

[video] 21:27 Change your body, you change how you think, how you feel and how capable you are of showing up for life.

[video] 21:36 Step six, kill the distractions. Smartphone addiction. Internet gaming addiction. Binge watching addiction. You are what you repeatedly expose yourself to physically, mentally.

21:47 Again, people are addicted to this because they are not allowed to do what they want to do intuitively. And of course, then you will watch movies, TV series, play video games, imagining that you're doing all of that. Think about... what a teenager does in their everyday life. They will play video games imagining that they are doing all of that because in nature, that's what they would be doing, pretty much.

[video] 22:19 Emotionally and neurologically, every input shapes you. And right now, most people are drowning in noise. The game is getting attention at all costs. There's no reason to put it away. Endless feeds, breaking news, background television, games designed to keep you hooked. This is ultra-processed content, junk food for the mind. It feels stimulating, but it leaves you scattered, anxious, reactive. It's actually changing the physiology of our brain. We are all becoming more ADHD-like. So lessen the inputs, strengthen the signal, set boundaries, decide what earns your attention and what doesn't. And if you need help, use limitations. Time caps, app blockers, fewer notifications. This isn't about cutting yourself off from the world, it's about protecting your clarity.

[video] 22:48 Step seven, remove isolation. Chronic loneliness and social isolation can be as bad or worse for you than smoking about a pack of cigarettes a day. Talking to somebody actually feels good. It increases your positive emotion. It gives you a sense that your life is going better. Doing hard things doesn't stop with discipline or routines. One of the hardest things in the modern world is showing up for other people.

[video] 23:09 We weren't meant to do life alone. Isolation isn't strength. It's damage. Slowly accumulate.

23:15 Right. At last, he's right about something. But again, isolation, being alone, doesn't feel good, meaning that you're living counterintuitively if you actually choose to be alone, which nobody does, obviously, but sometimes it's kind of out of your hands. Point being, in this case, he admits that it's bad for you because it feels bad. But then the other stuff, which is hard, it feels bad. That's all somehow good for you.

[video] 23:57 When we are lonely, we are more likely to create addiction. Loneliness is killing us. Humans thrive on connection, on emotional bonds, on being seen, heard, and understood. A life without connection may look efficient, but it's empty. So prioritize relationships, friends, family, love. Have real conversations, share meals, take walks, laugh together. These moments ground us. They remind us why we're doing all of this in the first place. You need friendship. You deserve friendship. And you deserve to have fun. These connections require effort, vulnerability, presence, which is why they matter.

[video] 24:34 Step eight, stop watching motivational garbage. Yes, including this video. Because if you're watching this just to feel inspired and then planning to wake up tomorrow as the same person, this video will not help you. In fact, motivation might be the thing holding you back. Here's the trap. You feel bad, you watch something inspiring, you feel good, and then you do nothing. Repeat. Motivation gives you the feeling of progress without the cost of change. So what actually creates change? Self-trust. Real change doesn't come from hype. Don't have to be perfect to get what you want. He just doesn't see what's going on. He talks about all of this, but

25:33 doesn't understand why you have all of these motivational speakers, why you have people who make New Year's resolutions. You do all of this because you try to force yourself to do something that you don't even want to do in the first place. The big problem is that he and other people are living counter-intuitively, meaning that you're going against your nature. And then you will always want some kind of motivation. But when you live intuitively, when you are aligned with your nature, then you never need that. He just doesn't get it.

[video] 26:20 Boring. Do it when it's uncomfortable. Do it when you don't feel like it. Repeat that long enough.

26:26 If you will do something that's uncomfortable, then you will be watching motivational videos for the rest of your life. Just be ready for that. And something begins to change.

[video] 26:37 You start to trust yourself. And when you trust yourself, you can do harder things. Keep bigger promises to the people around you and to yourself. This is the real work. This is alignment. This is how you reclaim your identity. Be someone you can count on. I wonder if this kind of life is really possible. Brian, it is. I exist because you follow through.

27:09 You will never feel happy or healthy if you will live counter-intuitively, because your intuition is there to tell you what is good for you. Everything that goes against your intuition is bad for you. The more discomfort you feel, the sicker you will be. And the more comfort you feel, the healthier you will be. Remember this for the rest of your life. If you need a motivational speech before doing something, then you're going against your nature. Thanks for watching.
