0:00 Hi guys, I'm going to review a video called what I eat in a day as a broke college student by Kwook Good morning guys.
[video] 0:07 I hate mornings, but but today I'm gonna go through one day of eating as a college student Most of the time for breakfast, I want to eat sweet stuff, but today for a little change of pace, I'm going to go for one of my favorite ways.
0:22 It's not a good idea ever to start your morning with something sweet. That's just sugar, which is not going to give you a sustainable energy. Make an omelet.
[video] 0:30 So I'm going to begin by chopping up all my ingredients.
[video] 0:35 And I'm also gonna use some spinach leaves. I'll go for three eggs.
0:40 The eggs, I absolutely understand. It's a good choice as far as cooked animal foods go nowadays. But the spinach and the pepper... Why would you waste money on it at all? If you're on a budget as a college student or for any reason at all, then of course you should not be spending your money on something that has basically no nutrients at all. And spinach is completely indigestible. There's zero reason to waste your money on it.
[video] 1:04 Feeling hungry.
1:06 Plus you're destroying your health also on top of that.
[video] 1:09 Getting my pan nice and warm. Touch of butter in there. Once the butter is melted, I'm adding my- Wow.
1:16 At last, somebody cooking in butter. How long has it been since I've seen that? Really? It's been a very, very long time. It's one of the best fats that you can use for cooking besides other animal fat because it's the most stable fat and doesn't oxidize.
[video] 1:31 Then I'm gonna drop in my eggs. And at this point, my heat is on medium and I have to make sure I don't let that bottom layer settle. I'm just gonna keep stirring my eggs until I feel that I cannot anymore. Season.
1:42 I wonder if he generally cooks in butter or if he simply does that because he has no money now. Because it would be funny seeing as a lot of the people that I review actually have a lot of money but use really garbage oils for cooking.
[video] 1:55 So I like a lot of pepper. I also have this lovely jalapeño Gouda cheese or as the Dutch would say Houda because I do live in the Netherlands. And of course it's gonna go in the omelette for just a bit of fun. Conker man! Just a little bit of cheese. A bit of cheese goes a long way in this omelette.
2:12 I feel really sorry for him.
[video] 2:15 Cover literally for about a minute. Cover just until the top layer is settled. Drop some spinach leaves in here. You have to fold it all.
2:23 I understand the eggs. I somewhat even understand the pepper if you just want it for taste. The spinach doesn't fit in there whatsoever. It's just stupid. Oh, there you go.
[video] 2:32 Well, it broke a little bit.
2:34 It really just makes it kind of disgusting.
[video] 2:36 It's perfect. It's just... drop it in here and this does not look amazing but it's very delicious complete and easy to make breakfast they pull together in what like maximum 10 minutes the egg is a bit crispy on the outside but on the inside it's a much better breakfast than the one that he sometimes eats as he said which would be based on something sweet just carbohydrates it's time for lunch
[video] 3:07 I also wanted something green in there. And because I have that spinach bag, I just decided to cook some spinach until it gets a bit soft and add some garlic slices and lemon juice to finish it.
3:18 You don't have to cook something simply because you have leftovers. You could also just throw it out.
[video] 3:23 Actually my go-to way to eat spinach in general.
3:26 Yeah, of course, because it's basically gone, man. Of course you hate it. Every human hates spinach. It's totally visible that you don't want it.
[video] 3:35 I just got that spinach on top of my ingredients. What is that? And an additional layer of cheese just to ensure that...
3:42 It's so funny how humans are brainwashed nowadays. Really funny.
[video] 3:46 Cheesiness. I also have this Taco Bell fire sauce packet. So, you know, I'm just gonna make good use of it. Fold and press it down. Let's make another...
3:54 Really, these meals are not that bad. You hear other people eating noodles and bread and whatnot only. There is, of course, bread here, grains. It is kind of grain-based, but still, you've got the chicken and the cheese. It's okay-ish.
[video] 4:14 Right on. Makes it a tiny bit better.
4:25 Carcinogens. Is this guy from Spain or something? And he lives in the Netherlands? Must be really weird.
[video] 4:33 Cook for an additional minute or so, and then they're pretty much done. Look at that. I do wanna try to do a cheese pull. Just gotta cut through the top layer.
4:43 Ugh, the spinach, man. Just dark green toxins.
[video] 4:47 Look at these layers, guys. I'm also gonna put together a really quick dip using some Greek yogurt, some cilantro, and some lemon juice. And look at that delicious dia. So simple to make. And this is pretty much it.
4:59 Again, the yogurt is a good addition as far as cooked, pasteurized animal foods go. Really, these meals are not that bad, considering that he's a bro college student, supposedly.
[video] 5:08 Okay, so about 4 p.m. or so in the afternoon, and I'm grabbing a little snack. This is like a peanut butter, yogurt, blueberry thing. What I actually like to do is take this powdered peanut butter called PB2, and I mix it with a bit of milk and a touch of maple syrup to make this sort of peanut butter sauce that is really not high in fat. Then I just take some Greek yogurt, put it in a bowl, and just top the yogurt with the peanut butter sauce. And then just add some fruit, like blueberries or banana. But today, yeah, I went with blueberries. And this is kind of weird, but delicious.
5:34 Blueberries are sprayed very highly with pesticides. More than other fruit, just so you know.
[video] 5:40 Mmm, oh yeah. For dinner, I like to treat myself a bit and make something that is nutritious.
5:46 Pesticides are not a joke, by the way. A lot of people don't take them serious. They think that it's something that's not really visible, whatever. It actually causes really, really serious health issues.
[video] 5:55 But also something that is a lot of fun, something that I could really enjoy. I'm going to make a very simple noodle stir fry using very simple ingredients, as you can see. And this technique is pretty foolproof and you can apply it to whatever noodle dish you want to make. You're going to need some aromatics, some sort of vegetables and eggs. I'm starting by prepping everything that I need, so I can just throw...
6:13 I'm loving that he's using all of these animal foods for his meals, even if it's cheese and eggs here and there. Still, you're getting animal fat every meal, even if it's a little bit, and you're getting sustainable energy.
[video] 6:24 And just a little bit of ginger. I like to cut it into these thin ginger sticks. And of course, I also have my red bell pepper. And I don't have to be very precise with the cutting in this dish, which is why I like it so much. My heat is on high in this wok-like pan. I'm gonna add some oil, and using a paper towel, I will just distribute it across the pan. And simply add all my arom...
6:41 I wonder why he uses the oil now. Really, there's no reason. You could also use butter in this.
[video] 6:46 Hmm. So the onions, the garlic and the ginger and just cook it until it loses its raw texture. And of course it wouldn't be a cook video without green peas.
6:56 That's how everybody cooks vegetables. And technically that's a fruit, but it's considered to be a vegetable by most people. And of course you want it to lose its raw state because it's not very appetizing, edible really.
[video] 7:09 So add some green peas in there. Next step is to crack some eggs in your pan. We're not too worried about how they cook. We just want to mix them, cook them, and then distribute them through the vegetables. For my noodles, I use some precooked whole wheat wok noodles. I just found them in my grocery store, but you can pretty much use any noodle here. Just make sure to get it prepped beforehand. And then for flavor, we just need some soy.
7:28 I guess every student does end up eating a lot of noodles after all. Noodles are, of course, one of the worst things you could possibly eat in general because it's simply carbs, fiber, and anti-nutrients, pesticides. Really toxic. At best, they're useless.
[video] 7:45 Some oyster sauce and a bit of rice vinegar. Get these things incorporated into the noodles, and then you're pretty much done. I also use some green onion and some yellow chili.
7:52 The worst thing about it is that as a student also you won't be able to think very well. A student should be eating a lot of animal fat, ideally brain. Really. Because he or she will then become the best student possible.
[video] 8:04 Just for topping purposes. And this noodle...
8:07 Not that you really have to think a lot in college nowadays. It's more about memorizing what they tell you and blindly following orders. I wish it was different.
[video] 8:17 This actually only cost me $1.70 to make. And to be honest, it can definitely serve two people.
8:24 Yes, this is a very cheap meal. What is interesting is that vegans never realize that their meals are very cheap, which means that they're eating slave food, essentially. This guy, I guess, understands it because he's aiming for cheap meals. Basically everybody besides vegans understand that they are eating slave food when they eat stuff like this.
[video] 8:44 Love this recipe. So this is my dinner. The noodles have gotten a bit soft because I took a bunch of b-roll shots. The eggs are for sure the best ingredient here And really the only one that he will get any nutrition out of Unfortunately, it's probably cooked to death almost It's a pretty realistic representation of how I eat every day
9:10 Alright, that was a pretty straight up video. If he wants to eat healthy on a budget, and if you do too, then you should be getting animal organs such as heart, even liver, brain, you can get a lot of stuff really, a lot cheaper than ground meat and certainly any kind of steaks. A lot of people think that they can't eat a lot of meat if they don't have a lot of money, but really that's not true, and of course you don't have to eat them raw, you can also cook them, he would never do that anyway, and that's fine for his case, but he would still be getting a lot more nutrients and he would be healthier if he would just put some cooked heart and brain instead of the eggs and the chicken, and really it would taste very similar Two eggs anyway. It's very delicious. The last thing you should ever try to save money on is your health of course, which is why if you spend money on anything then it should be good quality food. Thanks for watching.
