0:00 Hi, I'm going to be reviewing the video called 10 vitamins you should never take by Dr. Eric Berg.

[video] 0:08 We're going to talk about the 10 vitamins and minerals you should never ever take, but not for the reason that they're ineffective.

0:16 The premise of the video is wrong because these are not vitamins or minerals. I'll explain to you what I mean by that.

[video] 0:26 But for the bigger reason, they can be very, very dangerous. And I'm really surprised that they even allow these ingredients to be sold in your vitamins.

0:36 Not only that, a lot of the so-called foods that you eat are fortified with these chemicals. I think I know why because simply they're so cheap you can make so much profit on them and so there's a huge margin and that's pretty much why they do it most of the big vitamin companies out there are owned by big pharma big chemical companies I'm glad that he mentions that not many people are aware of this when you buy supplements you need to understand that you are supporting pharmaceutical companies

[video] 1:13 and the junk food industry. And so their motives are the best margins possible. Let's take the first one, synthetic vitamin A. You should never...

1:23 Very toxic. It can cause liver damage if you consume too much at once, which most people wouldn't do, of course, or if you use it for a long time. That's the reason why Accutane causes liver damage, one of the reasons.

[video] 1:42 ever consume synthetic vitamin A. Synthetic vitamin A has to be converted into the active form.

1:49 converted? That's the problem with this video. He believes that you can convert this supposed molecule, which hasn't even been observed. But even if you want to believe in some molecule, little balls, atoms, all together, then you would still have to understand how these supplements are created. Look into HPLC. I already talked about this. It stands for High Performance Liquid Chromatography. Look into chromatography in general, and once you understand how they are created, none of this will make any sense to you. I'll talk about that even more. I want to see what else he will say about this specific one.

[video] 2:42 And the conversion is not very efficient.

2:46 He says this, but it's based on nothing. What conversion? How can you convert a chemical which was created by pharmaceutical companies to anything that your body needs? If you don't understand how they are created, then it can make sense, because then you're just religiously believing something.

[video] 3:10 Yes, but only because they are toxic to begin with. You cannot accumulate something and then wait for it to cause damage if it's good for you. For example, if you eat a lot of fatty meat,

3:36 you drink milk you will gain a lot of fat but you will be healthy because you accumulated healthy substances that's not the case with these chemicals which are created by pharmaceutical companies and that's why they will cause organ damage and they can cause organ failure if you would really overdo it

[video] 4:02 that child is susceptible to a birth defect. And it also can interfere with vitamin D and vitamin K2.

4:09 And that's the strange part. He constantly pushes vitamin D supplements, which are used as rat poison. Just a few days ago, he posted a video, again, promoting vitamin D. Is somebody paying him to do it? Does he actually believe in those supplements? Because once you research how they are created, there's just no way that you can push rat poison onto people, but he does that.

[video] 4:37 Even so-called organic vitamins are chemicals. Many are commonly made from industrial waste, including coal tar ash, petroleum oil, black mold, and even cyanide. In 1933, the fortification of milk with chemical vitamin D occurred. During the same time, new vitamin deficiency diseases were suddenly identified and categorized based on the newly discovered vitamins. It was a circle jerk of new vitamin discoveries, new science, new deficiencies, and new chemical substitutes needed to keep us healthy. And increase your risk for fractures because you have bone loss. And they also put synthetic vitamin A in a lot of skin products like lotions and things like that. The problem is when that synthetic vitamin A gets exposed to UV radiation, now we just increase the carcinogenic effect.

5:22 OK, that's correct. But he doesn't actually talk about how these so-called vitamins are created. And I think that he doesn't. I don't think that he doesn't know about it because he sells some of these supplements.

[video] 5:41 It's great that he promotes liver, eggs, and that's why

5:58 His channel is still useful for a lot of people. But then again, he does promote some quiet poisonous substances also.

[video] 6:10 Vitamin A. We need vitamin A for the internal mucous membranes of our sinuses, of our lungs, of our colon. We need vitamin A to be able to see, especially in the dark. The immune system depends on vitamin A. So vitamin A is super important. Let's go to number two. Synthetic beta carotene. When I talk about beta carotene, a lot of times people think, oh, let it?

6:28 I already talked about this in the Kscammy video. These beta-carotene supplements are made out of benzene, methanol, refined oils. They don't come from carrots or whatever you may want to believe.

[video] 6:47 It's vitamin A, isn't it? No, it is not. Even though some people think it is, beta-carotene has to turn into the active form of vitamin A. You know, you might think about beta-carotene.

6:58 Right, and even if you want to believe this, there's just no way that you could convert methanol into vitamin A. No matter how much you want to believe in all of this, you cannot possibly believe that.

[video] 7:13 Carotene and carrots. You'd have to consume a tremendous amount of carrots to get even close to the RDAs.

7:21 Just in case you don't understand, methanol is incredibly toxic.

[video] 7:26 for the active form of vitamin A. You know they make synthetic beta-carotene from coal tar, petroleum?

7:34 Yes, petroleum also. Huh, that is really strange. He knows about it, I told you. Because you can say whatever you want about Dr. Eric Berg. He doesn't seem dumb. He may be ignorant here and there about some topics, but he's not a dumb guy. Meaning that he probably also knows how vitamin D is created. And when they create these supplements, you need to understand this, they use hexane, acetone, chloroform, and so on. The list is long. And what they do is that they have these sources for the vitamins and minerals, as I said, I put them in quotes for a reason, seeing as it has nothing to do with what you believe is inside of the food.

8:34 And that's a whole other topic. And then they treat them with these chemicals, they use centrifuges several times, a lot of heat is applied to the chemicals and this is very important because You imagine these chemical structures, these atoms, the molecules, which have never been observed. But as I said, if you want to believe in that, that's all fine. But how can you still buy supplements if those atoms, molecules are officially, supposedly very heat sensitive? Think about it. When you look into chromatography, you will understand that even if there would be such a thing, then that would never survive the process. It's impossible.

9:31 How can he sell vitamin D supplements if, when you look into it, you right away realize that it's impossible for these supposed chemicals to survive the process?

[video] 9:45 This is why they found when they did large studies on beta carotene, the synthetic version, they saw an increase of lung cancer in smokers by I think like 18%. Now, why would that be in smokers and maybe not other people? Well, first of all, smokers have a lot of damage in their lungs, making their lungs very vulnerable and weak and even susceptible to getting cancer. So apparently the synthetic version of beta carotene comes in there and flips the switch and activates the cancer. So the natural version is protective. The synthetic version is not protective. It can create problems. Let's go to number three.

10:13 you cannot prove the so-called natural version anyway and you for sure cannot prove that it has any benefits in any way seeing as you cannot prove it in the first place folic acid vitamin b9 it's one of the b vitamins pregnant women are always told to take it it's uh really messed up

[video] 10:38 But folic acid is different than the active form of B9, which is folate. So it's another synthetic vitamin. Here's the problem with taking folic acid. 30 to 40% of the world population has a problem with a certain gene. It's an alteration of this gene called MTHF.

10:55 Okay, now he's completely talking about religious beliefs. This I cannot in any way take seriously. He just shows a 3D animation of DNA and then names some random letters and numbers. It's not something that has ever been observed, just to be clear.

[video] 11:20 The simple explanation is that this gene...

11:24 The simple explanation. And again, just some 3D animations. Ah, boy.

[video] 11:31 ...to convert folic acid into the active form folate. And if you have a problem with that gene, you're not going to do that. So...

11:39 How can you convert something that you cannot even observe, and then when you look at how they are created? He talks about beta-carotene supplements coming from petroleum, coal, that's great, but then look into the process. Do you believe that the other ones are somehow magically converted into the real vitamin? Come on!

[video] 12:08 A DNA test, which cannot even prove if somebody is the mother or father.

[video] 12:30 They're consuming that in their foods quite often. You want to read the label and make sure you take folate or just consume foods high in folate. Dark, leafy, green vegetables have a good amount of folate. All right.

12:45 He promotes vegetables, toxic plants, and toxic supplements. Those are the two worst things that he promotes. It's not as if I have really watched his videos properly, but from what I've seen, that's it.

[video] 13:03 The next one is number four, SyntheticB12. The name for that is cyanocobalamin. Now notice cyano, that's cyanide.

13:15 Yes, those pills do have very small amounts of cyanide. It is what it is.

[video] 13:23 It has just a tiny bit of cyanide. This form of B12 is definitely not as bioavailable as the natural form, which is called methylcobalamin. And the natural version stays in the body a lot longer compared to the synthetic version. In order for this version to convert to the active version, it requires glutathione. So if you're consuming a lot of this, like a lot of people are, because it's in a lot of things. It's in energy drinks. It's in a lot of food products. And it's

13:46 As I told you, yes, energy drinks because it's similar to caffeine in that sense. Coffee, those toxic seeds, they pump up your body, they make you alert. That's why when people take vitamin D supplements, they say that they feel better. The effect is very similar. You feel alert. They don't understand that it's a sign of being poisoned.

[video] 14:16 It's in a lot of supplements. It's going to then deplete you of glutathione, which is a major antioxidant. And so let's say, for example, someone's a smoker and they're taking this. And just so you know, there's a lot of chemicals that you get from smoking. One is a little bit of cyanide. And that can build up with the extra cyanide from B12. And that can create some toxicity, especially if you have genetics that have poor detox pathways.

14:36 Genetics with poor detox pathways. That's great, man. Can you approve any of this?

[video] 14:46 I do. So if you had a DNA test, it'll actually show you how well you're able to detoxify. And if you have a problem with those detoxification pathways, you want to avoid synthetic toxins as much as possible. It's really easy to get the natural version of B12.

15:02 He talks a lot of nonsense. Still, it's great that he's warning people about some of these supplements. Then again, seeing as he promotes others such as vitamin D, magnesium also, it doesn't really help people to understand that you shouldn't be taking supplements in general.

[video] 15:21 damn near everything processed, needed more and more vitamins and minerals. And next thing you know, corn meals, rice, noodles, macaroni, other grain products, it all needs to be enriched and fortified. From red meat or liver. So that's really where I recommend you get that from. Number five, calcium carbonate. If you take a look at the first ingredient in a lot of the... common popular one of days the first ingredient of all of them is calcium carbonate that's why the bottle is so heavy it literally has rocks in it as the first ingredient which means it's probably the majority of that product which is just mind-blowing you can actually build up in the body where it dumps into the yes but then again people eat salt which is also a rock arteries or the kidney

16:04 Yes, very important to understand and that's why you should avoid any foods which are fortified anyway, because that's junk food. Cereal, for example, almond milk, all of that has added so-called calcium.

[video] 16:23 Nice, okay. But that's not even the biggest problem with this. The biggest problem is it can increase the risk of heart attacks. And in nature, with our food supply, you never just eat calcium like this. And so you should really try to get your calcium from dairy. Cheese, okay, is a good one. Yogurt, kefir, but you can also get calcium from certain leafy greens as well. Calcium is one mineral that we have to be careful of because we don't get rid of it very easily. Calcium also needs to work with magnesium. So the more calcium you take, you better increase your magnesium to a one-to-one ratio. And if anyone tells you you need like 10 times more calcium than magnesium, don't believe them. You need a one-to-one ratio. And a lot of these one-a-days, it's not even close to a one-to-one ratio. So we're creating more of a magnesium deficiency problem when we're loading up with all this calcium. Then we get to iron. Iron is actually very corrosive and very dangerous to our bodies.

17:09 I'm glad that he says that. Oftentimes it's listed as the number one most toxic supplement. In the top five, you have vitamins A, which he mentioned already, D, red poison, which he doesn't mention because he sells it and promotes it, iron.

[video] 17:30 Because we really have no mechanism to get rid of it other than, you know, giving blood or a woman menstruating. It's especially dangerous to men and postmenopausal women. But the type of iron that you'll see in a lot of supplements is ferrous sulfate. Oh my gosh, this is like, it's like literally, it's like rust. I think one out of

17:45 Yes, they actually use iron from the metal industries for these supplements. It's insane.

[video] 17:55 Two or three hundred people have a condition called hemochromatosis, where this is even more of a problem. Even if you take normal amounts of iron, it's going to be even more deadly because the body will just hold on to it very, very tightly. So if you're cooking from iron skillets or if you're taking supplements with iron, but also they enrich a lot of foods with iron, like a lot of wheat products and grains of course if you're following my channel you're probably not eating that but if you're not following my channel you might be consuming those things typically if you have too much iron you're going to be more at risk for type 2 diabetes liver issues parkinson's alzheimer's other than that it'd be totally fine so i highly recommend that you just really avoid any supplements with iron or any fortified food with iron get your iron from foods. Even if you're anemic, I would recommend consuming liver, red meat, or something like that, but I wouldn't recommend a supplement, especially ferrous sulfate. Let's go to number seven, magnesium oxide. You probably know how important magnesium is, but the form of it is super important. Oxide is like a really cheap form. This form only absorbs like 3%. So if that pill was 500 milligrams, they would only be getting 20 milligrams.

[video] 18:55 from one pill. That's insignificant. And so as soon as they start increasing it, now they're going to get diarrhea because it pulls a lot of water into the colon. And then when they have diarrhea, and then guess what happens? They flush out the electrolytes. So this is not a good form. You're not going to get enough because of the absorption. And then as soon as you start increasing it, you get diarrhea. The best form of magnesium is magnesium glycinate. You're going to absorb like 80 to 85%.

19:15 He always promotes that. Magnesium glycinate also causes stomach cramps, for example. Generally it causes stomach issues if you consume too much. Although some people even report problems at pretty low amounts. It has an LD50 value, it is toxic. It's not as toxic as the rest, especially vitamin D, but still,

[video] 19:49 The problem with this is that it can have a placebo effect or it can have a stimulating effects on the body.

20:09 Seeing as these so-called improvements for your health are very vague, you can never actually tell what it's doing to your body, but when you will feel nauseous, have stomach cramps, then of course you will feel it.

[video] 20:26 Number eight, synthetic vitamin D. The name for this is ergocalciferol, okay? And the way that they make this is they radiate fungus or yeast with UV radiation. It's not as...

20:41 Yes, and they also make it out of irradiated vegetable oils. At least they used to. The methods and the sources of the chemicals change here and there, but whatever is profitable will be done.

[video] 21:05 And so these conversions of synthetic D3 to the active form of vitamin D are not nearly as efficient as the D3. Also, the way that it's transported, there's a protein that delivers this vitamin D to the

21:19 Again, just 3D animations.

[video] 21:23 Kidney and liver. And it's called a vitamin D binding protein. Well, with vitamin D2, it's not really connected or bound.

21:31 Does he actually believe that there's some little balls traveling through the body? I guess so.

[video] 21:38 Very, very strongly compared to D3. So you don't end up getting the same effect as you do the D3.

21:44 Well, that's actually funny. He shows it as if the body is inflamed, as if it's burning, which is kind of true, because as I said, The so-called vitamin D3, called calciferol, is used as red poison because that's what it is. It's a poison. And it's toxic in pretty low amounts compared to other supplements.

[video] 22:16 In the 2000s, big pharma companies such as Pfizer began buying up all the vitamin manufacturers. As soon as they purchased these companies, the need for vitamin D supplements for health was drilled into our brains. And of course, the most common doctor prescription for vitamin D is D2, not D3. I think because you can't patent D3 because it's natural. It's

22:40 Wait, what do you mean natural? Natural? That doesn't make any sense. Look into chromatography and tell me how it's natural. Even if you get it from sheep's wool, if that's the source. you're still going to be using all of the toxic chemicals which I named, you're still going to use centrifuges, you're still going to apply a lot of heat to it. Even if you believe that there's some magical vitamin D in sheep's wool, how could it possibly survive? And then you sell it As a supplement, you have these pills which are made out of wood, partly. Yes, you actually swallow wood when you buy a lot of supplements. Then there is caking agents inside and whatnot.

23:37 And also these toxins, actual rat poison. Exactly, literally the same as they use for rat poison. It's not something else. There's no difference. So to sum it up, when you buy vitamin D free pills, you're buying wood with caking agents, which has rat poison inside. Okay. Enjoy.

[video] 24:01 The most important vitamin of anything. And a lot of people are deficient. They don't get enough sun. When you're lacking vitamin D, your immune system suffers. You get bone pain, you get depressed and many other issues as well. Number nine.

24:15 Yes, but you won't get bone pain because of that if you live in a cloudy, cold place. As long as you eat natural food, nothing will happen.

[video] 24:24 If you see a supplement that is adding omega-6 fats, maybe in the form of linoleic acid, don't take it. I recently did a video on dog food. They're adding this ingredient. I'm like, I wonder if people know we don't need more omega-6. We have way too much. We need a ratio, one-to-one ratio of omega-6 to omega-3. Well, guess what? An average person in the U.S. has a ratio of 25 times more omega-6 Then omega-3, omega-6 is very pro-inflammatory. Omega-3 is anti-inflammatory. The average person consumes 25 to 30% of all of their calories being the seed oils. It's highly inflammatory. You wanna get your omegas from fish, cod liver oil, grass-fed meat, things like that. And then number 10 is copper. Now listen, we need copper.

25:09 copper supplements are also very toxic among the most toxic ones he also made this video talking about how big pharma pays social media influencers to promote their products the reason i have trust is because i don't do things like this and if you've been watching my channel you see actually what i'm doing i'm actually helping people i'm not endorsing drugs or junk food Yes, he doesn't endorse junk food, but he does endorse drugs because those vitamin D, magnesium pills are drugs by definition. And once you understand how they are created, You may start questioning what he's promoting. Am I saying that he is being paid by Big Pharma to promote all of this? No, I hope not.

26:05 But at the same time, he does understand approximately how the industry works.

[video] 26:13 Now, another hidden connection is Big Pharma does not go directly to an influencer and coordinate this. They work through PR firms. And then within those corporations, they literally have units or teams of people that work with social media people, find them, hire them, train them, craft the message.

26:31 Yes, and most of them don't even really understand that they are supporting the pharmaceutical companies. But he understands how all of it works. And he understands where the vitamin D supplements come from, the red poison. That's why it's still strange that he continues promoting some of them.

[video] 26:55 just how they want them, so it sounds as authentic as possible.

26:59 My problems with this video are that he doesn't talk about the source of some of these supplements, especially the ones that he sells. He did talk about baracarotene and how it comes from petroleum, coal, but if he would talk about the source of the other supplements, then it would really scare people off. He doesn't talk about the procedure of how these supplements are created, the toxic chemicals which are used. the centrifuges, the heat which is applied to the supposed heat sensitive molecules, atoms which have never been observed in the first place and then you assume that this is what you put into the wood which you then swallow.

27:58 It's beyond a joke. He does mention big pharma, but at the same time he does sell you pharmaceutical substances, these so-called supplements. He talks about some of them and how bad they are, but at the same time he sells you a substance which is literally being used as rat poison. What do you think about Dr. Eric Berg? Let me know. Thanks for watching.
