Guy Eats 2kg/Day of Red Meat to Lift Man-Made Metal in a Man-Made Gym for No Reason @Tanner Shuck

0:00 Hey guys, as requested, I'm going to review a video by Tanner Shuck. It's about him eating five pounds of red meat every day for one year. Five pounds is around two kilograms.
[video] 0:10 This is what five pounds of meat looks like.
0:14 Too bad it's only muscle meat.
[video] 0:18 It's Tanner Shook, and anyone who's followed me for a while knows I've been crushing red meat every day for a long time. Now, did I really eat five pounds of red meat every day for one year? Absolutely. Actually, it's probably been more like- That's great.
0:30 Obviously, I would recommend eating raw meat instead of cooked meat because you lose a lot of the nutrients, it's harder to digest, and it just tastes better if you eat it raw, but otherwise, great.
[video] 0:38 Five years. Now, before I tell you why I did it, how I did it, and what happened, please don't forget to smash that like button and subscribe to this channel. Because if you do, you might just end up getting jacked, super healthy, and becoming the best version of yourself.
0:50 It's interesting that he says jacked and super healthy. Obviously, red meat is super healthy for you, but I wonder if he's trying to say that being jacked is healthy in itself. We'll see.
[video] 1:01 First, let's just take a quick trip back in time like 200,000 years ago when humans actually evolved into humans from cavemen.
1:07 That's a religious belief. We have no idea what happened, but sure, go on.
[video] 1:13 Anyone who has any common sense can learn there's a stack of undeniable proof that humans evolved eating meat, and when we started consuming more nutrient-dense, high-quality animal...
1:21 You don't need to believe that we evolved or something by eating meat. Humans generally naturally crave meat. If your taste buds tell you that meat tastes good and that green plants taste bad, then that's all that you need to know.
[video] 1:35 Our brains increase both in size and intelligence. Now I'm no genius.
1:39 Your brain would increase in size and intelligence if you would eat actual raw animal brain. That's the best food for your brain and for your intelligence, quite literally. Eating cooked red meat isn't going to add super much to it. Obviously, again, it's super good for you, but eating the actual organs... Uncooked is really what's healthy for you, but there's absolutely no reason to believe that humans evolved by eating those foods. You don't need to use this so-called evolution argument to prove that humans naturally want to eat meat. It's just a theory, a belief after all.
[video] 2:11 But I don't think it takes a fing rocket scientist to deduce that animal foods, particularly red meat or game meat, is a pretty damn healthy food. And anyone who tells you otherwise, aka all the plant-based tree-hugger environmentalists out there, have no idea what the f they're talking about.
2:25 Very good, and I like that he mentions gay meat, which is the healthiest kind of animals you can eat.
[video] 2:29 And they have their own extremely biased agendas. I'll be the first to admit, if eating only leaves and stems were actually more nutrient-dense foods and healthier for us, I'd be a proud broccoli boy, and I'd be munching on celery sticks all day. But that's just not the case. Now here's my point. I consider red meat to be the ultimate health food. It's loaded with protein, iron, B vitamins, zinc, magnesium, creatine, selenium, and tung...
2:51 You don't really need to name any of the nutrients because red meat has every nutrient, quite literally every. However, organs have way higher amounts of vitamin A, B12, also the other B vitamins, even iron. You should really focus more so on eating animal organs than the red muscle meat. Again, what he's doing is way healthier than what over 90% of people eat. But if you want to be really optimally healthy, then try eating mostly only organs, and you will see what actual health is. Oh boy.
[video] 3:23 ...of other amino acids our body needs not only to survive, but thrive. I mean, it's by far the highest quality, most nutrient-dense food you can eat. You hear all the time of these superfoods like kale and acai, but the real superfoods are meat and eggs. So in my simplistic way of thinking, why the f*** wouldn't I want to feed my body as much high-quality, nutrient-dense food as possible?
3:40 He's kind of right. Eggs and red meat are super healthy, but when you cook the food, then again, as I said, it's harder to digest it. You destroy a lot of the nutrients, especially the water-soluble ones, the B vitamins, which you can get from red meat, but if you cook it, what's really the point? You destroy so much of it. If you would eat actual raw liver, heart, spleen, testicles, brain, and so on, then you would be eating actual real superfoods.
[video] 4:09 It's a no-brainer. I mean, think of it this way. Most Americans, and probably most people watching this video, get most of their calories from low-quality shit foods, like chips, crackers, fast food, cookies, pasta, soda, ice cream, fried foods, than they do actually high-quality nutrient-dense foods, like meat, eggs, fruits, vegetables. And that's the biggest...
4:26 Fruits and vegetables he also mentioned. I wonder why. I thought that he's kind of almost against vegetables. Vegetables are basically the least nutrient-dense foods on earth. The only foods that are worse than vegetables are seeds, grains, legumes, beans. Those really have basically no micronutrients at all.
[video] 4:42 This reason why most Americans are fat, unhealthy sacks of sh**. And then there's me. I'm 35 years old, 100% lifetime natty, sub-10% body fat year-round, I'm strong, I can deadlift over 600 pounds and do a 35-pound weight and strict muscle-up, and I'm incredibly fit.
4:57 For sure, nobody would deny that you have trained a lot. It's obvious, but what is training, what is working out? It kind of seems like he still keeps saying healthy and fit in the same sentence, like he's trying to say that being fit is healthy, but that's obviously not the case whatsoever. You cannot be fit in general as a human being, you can only be fit for something. So, most slaves nowadays, they go to the gym, And let's say that you deadlift or do pull-ups, in what way do you become fit then? In general? No, not at all. You only become fit to go to the gym again the next time and you will be able to do more pull-ups for no reason at all. You literally pull yourself up on a metal bar like a freaking slave.
5:42 And you lift man-made metal with a man-made bar when you're deadlifting. So what are you fit for? To go to the gym again and to deadlift man-made weights for no reason at all, like a slave, again. That's what you're fit for. You're not fit in general because there's no such thing as being fit in general. So you gotta understand that when you go to the gym, you are simply fit for the next gym session, which you go to To kill millions of your cells and to age your body. That's it. You are fit to kill your cells and to age your body. Once you realize that, it kind of becomes a bit stupid to go to the gym and to be fit, I would say.
[video] 6:26 I can do a sub 632k row and I've won the world's second largest crossfit competition. And I live on red meat. Call me crazy, but I'd...
6:34 I absolutely agree that it's a lot easier for him to do these exercises because he eats the red meat. I'm not at all saying that that's not the case, but it doesn't in any way make you healthy.
[video] 6:46 I'd much rather be the guy who eats five pounds of red meat every day, who's pretty much at the pinnacle of health and fitness, than the average
6:52 Again, health and fitness. Yes, you are fit to go to the gym like a slave over and over again for no reason at all. Nobody is denying that, but it doesn't have anything at all to do with health. And you are healthier than probably a lot of people because you eat the red meat, which is a healthy food, even though it's cooked. A pretty good way to check if somebody's healthy is to check the age on their ID card and then check their biological age and see if they look their age or if they look way beyond their age.
[video] 7:21 American that lives on McDonald's, who's fat, metabolically sick, can barely walk up a flight of stairs, and who's probably going to die from a chronic disease like diabetes.
7:29 Yes, but that's only because of the food that they eat. Exercise or any of this nonsense is not at all required for that.
[video] 7:37 Very good, he's also against alcohol. It's great.
[video] 7:52 of people today is mind-boggling. So now that you understand why I eat tons of red meat every day, let me tell you how I do it. I haven't always eaten five pounds of red meat. Five or six years ago.
8:02 Well, it's because you work out. Somebody who doesn't work out doesn't need to eat a lot. And the less you eat, the less you're going to age, which again actually adds to your health. It adds to your life, to being happy and healthy. Whereas if you work out, you need to eat a lot and you age a lot quicker and you just die quicker. What is healthier? Being alive or being dead? If somebody dies quicker because they eat too many calories, then obviously they're not going to be healthy when they're rotting under the earth. Whereas somebody who's still alive because they didn't do that, I would say that they are healthier if they're alive, right?
[video] 8:39 I was realistically only eating two to three pounds per day, which is still a lot for most people. But I was also eating more of other sources of protein like chicken, pork, fish, and protein powder. And I still do get a ton of my calories from these protein sources and other high quality foods like whole eggs, dairy, fruit. But now I just tend to eat more red meat. In short, I eat some form of beef for three to four meals every day and average around one and a half pounds of beef per meal. My typical day consists of four to six whole eggs for breakfast, one pound of steak for three meals during the day, and two pounds of steak every night for dinner. Yes, I literally eat steak every night for dinner. Now, what about the other three?
9:09 He eats better than over 90% of Americans, most definitely. Probably most people on earth.
[video] 9:16 Three meals throughout the day, you ask. I drink meat shakes. Yes, you heard that right, meat shakes. What's a meat shake? I'll show you. First, cook up three to five pounds of lean red meat. I recommend beef cubes or topside steak. Throw it in the blender, add water, a bit of salt and pepper, and drink up.
9:32 I wonder why he cooks the meat, especially when it comes to these shakes. A lot of bodybuilders at least use raw eggs, but there's also guys who do these meat shakes, but they use raw meat, which would taste so much better.
[video] 9:44 Now let's get one thing straight. I am not telling you to drink meat shakes. I'm just sharing this as I've found this to be an incredibly effective and efficient way to consume more high quality food. I eat mainly for purpose and rarely for pleasure because I just want to be strong, jacked and fit. That's what I care most about. Those are my goals.
9:59 That's what he chose to do in his life. Yeah, whatever.
[video] 10:02 And I always eat according to my goals because I'm not a pussy and my goals are bigger than my excuses. That's my mindset. Another thing, as I said before, I'm 100% lifetime natty. I don't do steroids like 99% of these other fitness
10:14 Yeah, and it works for him because he eats so much red meat. If you wouldn't, then he would look different.
[video] 10:20 Shitfluencers on social media. And if you're truly serious about maximizing your natural gains and getting as jacked as possible, you have to work 10 times harder than someone who's enhanced. And to do that, you need to give yourself as much high-quality food as possible. I consider red meat to be the most anabolic food ever. So if I want to get as strong and muscular as possible naturally, I need to consume a ton of red meat. And the easiest way to do that...
10:43 I would really recommend for him to try eating liver, especially raw liver. He would really feel true strength.
[video] 10:50 I drink meat shakes. I also think about it like this. I don't have time to be a whiny little bitch and complain about how much food I have to eat or complain that I don't like the way it tastes. Instead, I just man the up and get the meal down and move on to the next one. And when you have to consume as much lean meat as frequently as I do, eating meat like a normal human being becomes a chore. You start to hate it and even end up skipping meals. And 10 seconds of drinking meat beats 10 minutes of chewing meat any day. Now, why don't I just drink a protein shake, you ask? I do occasionally right after my workouts. But think about it like this. No humans evolved drinking instantized whey protein. And I'm a firm believer your body will always prefer real whole foods over pills and powders. And let's be honest.
11:26 Very good. Overall, his message for people who do do bodybuilding is very good.
[video] 11:32 Drinking protein shakes or eating protein bars over real whole food is just f***ing lazy. So what happened after a year straight of consuming five pounds of meat every day? Sorry to disappoint you, but basically, I just got stronger and more jacked than ever. Just a few personal anecdotes. I added 100 pounds on my deadlift, where I went from 505 for a double to 605 for a single. I increased my upper body.
11:53 It's just so funny when you look at people who go to the gym, especially the ones who do deadlifting, when you're not part of it anymore. It just looks like an absolute joke. It really looks like slavery. You just wonder how you could ever do that.
[video] 12:10 Got leaner, fitter, and healthier. Now, was I extremely consistent? Yes. Did I eliminate all excuses? Yes.
12:17 Yeah, he definitely confuses being fit with being healthy. That's the main problem with this video.
[video] 12:25 Train my ass off? Yes. Did I prioritize sleep in my recovery? Yes. Did I believe in myself and what I was doing? You f***ing know I did. So do I think consuming five pounds of red meat every day helped me achieve my goals? There's no doubt in my mind. My only regret is that I didn't start consuming 5 pounds of meat every day sooner. Because when I started consuming more quality red meat, I just felt stronger and my recovery only got better. And I'm still consuming 5 pounds of meat daily. So do you need to consume 5 pounds of steak every day? Almost certainly not. Unless you want to be as strong, lean, muscular, and as fit as possible like me. But even then, you probably don't have to take it to the extremes like I do either.
12:54 I would recommend eating as little as possible. Not in any way restrict yourself. That's not at all what I'm saying. Eat until you're absolutely satiated. But the more you're going to do in your life, the more stress you will have in general, the more you're going to want to eat and the more you're going to age.
[video] 13:10 People should eat more high quality red meat. Of course. Should red meat be feared? Absolutely not. And for the love of God, can we please just start using common sense again? I guarantee eating more steak is better than eating that fake meat.
13:24 Common sense when it comes to not fearing red meat, I agree with that, but you don't use any common sense. If you would use your common sense, then you wouldn't work out. You wouldn't go to the gym and lift man-made weights for no reason at all. Gyms were created for slaves to age themselves. They are there for you to die quicker. Your common sense absolutely tells you not to do that. Your common sense is essentially just you listening to your intuition, your body's needs. which nobody who goes to the gym really does.
[video] 13:56 Yeah, overall his message is really great. Not to eat fake meat, don't drink fake milk.
14:16 I like this guy. He's just very likeable, charismatic, easy to listen to, confident even though a lot of what he says is wrong. Obviously I'm against bodybuilding because it creates a lot of free radicals in the body. It destroys your joints, lowers your testosterone. It ages and wears out your body and generally wastes your life energy. At his age, in nature, he would have over 10 children, he would be playing with them all of the time, hunting, teaching them stuff. He wouldn't be going to the gym lifting man-made weights, but that's a slave's life nowadays, unfortunately. Thanks for watching, guys.
