0:00 Hey guys, as requested, I'm going to review a video by the channel Brownie. It's about a guy who used to work out, from what I understand, and now he has cancer.

[video] 0:09 A friend of mine sent me this guy's profile. Ruben, he's 24 years old, has single digit body fat percentage year-round, he lives the perfect lifestyle to look like this. Oh, and he's literally...

0:19 The perfect lifestyle.

[video] 0:21 ...be a model.

[video] 0:25 And then doctors told him he has lymphoma cancer.

0:28 So my friend... Lymphoma, in the most basic terms, is a dysfunctional lymphatic system, but that's not even really true. Unfortunately, you're not allowed to talk about cancer on YouTube. I would have a lot to say about it.

[video] 0:43 ...told me that Ruben wants the document is entirely back to fit and maybe help and inspire others. So today we're meeting him for the first time. All good? Yeah? Yeah.

0:53 All good? Totally neat.

[video] 0:56 But not in the most obvious place you would expect.

[video] 1:03 I brought a small gift. I knew he was getting more into beanies and caps, so... I know the perfect gift! Nice. I love this logo. He's going for it right away. I like it. I love it. Let's do a set with it.

1:12 Makes a lot of sense. You have lymphoma. And what you do is then go and stress your body to the max.

[video] 1:20 Still got the leg veins going on. The doctors always tell me that I have nice veins. So I put the needle in. Previous trainings, have you done it with weight already? Yeah. And then having another treatment and starting all over again, so... One more treatment and then we can keep building. I can't wait to track my progress and not feeling the way I do during the treatments. Exhausted, nauseous, sleepy, get my hair back. Get your hair back, yeah.

1:41 There's a lot of misconceptions about hair loss and cancer, mostly because of Hollywood movies. It's because of the chemotherapy and radiation, which are the popular therapies that people undergo. I assume that that's what he's doing because that's typical with lymphoma and leukemia.

[video] 1:59 Like, the no hair, you fully embraced it? Yeah, yeah, I don't really care. The first time, I was laughing. That must have been kind of weird for yourself. Definitely. We actually were kind of surprised that it was bald. It looks, it looks, yeah, it doesn't look that bad. I feel like I have to build everything up again.

2:13 You can actually just make... Yes, exactly. You have to lift heavy metal together with these other slaves to achieve this unnatural physique. That's the only way. You have to do something unnatural to get an unnatural physique. There's no other way because otherwise you can only have a natural physique. Of course, he is very damaged now which is why he wants to get back to his old physique which was also terrible but of course now... He's very malnourished and sick, which is why I can understand if he wants to build some muscle, totally, but he just wants to go to the extreme and stress himself to the max again.

[video] 2:53 It's all over again. Yeah, that's the good part, yeah. The crazy thing is that you worked in this gym, right? Yeah, I still do. You still work in the gym? Yeah, well, not now, but as a personal trainer. Are you excited to work here again? Yeah, definitely, yeah. I'm excited to help people as well. Take this journey with me in my PT. If I can do it, you can do it as well. Exactly. I know I can do it. I have, like, my biggest help. Good girlfriend. Nice. This is what I mean with shaking, huh?

[video] 3:28 They're shaking like crazy, yeah?

3:29 It's really crazy what he's doing if you understand biochemistry because when you experience such extreme stress as you do in the gym, then you produce white blood cells, antibodies as a response to the stress. You would really benefit from not having any stress at all in your life.

[video] 3:46 This is something I had to accept as well, being weaker. I do cry a lot more. I'm more emotional. The 1999 there. Your birth? My birth. So 24. In March, I will turn 25. I will turn 25 in October. In October. Our lifestyle previously was very similar. You guys don't drink. I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't think you guys smoke. No. I train almost every day. It's football. You play football?

4:05 Wow, he trains almost every day, which means that he runs around all of the time when he's playing football, which is very popular in the Netherlands. And then he goes to the gym on top of that, or every other day, we can assume. That's way, way, way too much stress for the body. Do you understand how stressed your lymphatic system is going to be when you do so much sports? It's insane. I'm now understanding what's going on here.

[video] 4:37 You play football and then all of a sudden you get sick and your life's upside down. You're healthy, you do everything to stay healthy.

4:45 You're healthy and you do everything to stay healthy, but sports are not healthy by any definition. We have tons of studies, if you want science, that show that sports, exercise in general, is incredibly unhealthy for the body and we have tons of proof that it destroys your immune system.

[video] 5:04 You're probably one of the best looking guys, also the healthiest guys in the world, and then all of a sudden that happened. I had some small bumps on my neck, yeah, and then I went to the doctor and we took blood and nothing really came out of it and then after some weeks it started to become bigger and the doctor told me that it should go away after two weeks or something, especially

5:21 the lumps mean that his body was fighting an infection toxins i don't know what he ate we only hear about his lifestyle right now so i don't know what he was really dealing with ask him if it not was like any type of cancer he told me no don't worry about about that four weeks later i went to

[video] 5:40 to the doctor again with a big swollen thing in my neck. And then the same day I went to the emergency, I had a scan.

5:46 It means that his body couldn't fight off whatever was hurting him. The question is simply, what was it? Was he on any performance enhancing drugs? And if not that, was he taking a lot of powders, supplements? We don't know.

[video] 6:02 Two doctors came into the room and I looked at my mom and she looked at me and were like, Okay, what's going on? We went into the room and they told me, I have two muscles here. We don't know what it is. Then we walked back and we started crying. What's going on? I told her, I don't want to do this. Five days later, it was cancer, I'll tell you.

6:31 Oh wow, that's very interesting. The doctor even said that he's simply unlucky. That is so crazy. People actually believe that when you get sick that you're simply unlucky? Is that really how it is? Can people really be this delusional? You just get a lump and you believe that it's unlucky. No, right? Wait, there's nobody like that out there who actually believes that. I just can't imagine because you would have to live in a different dimension to actually believe that it has anything to do with luck or that it's a coincidence.

7:09 That means that I could get it, but I could never get it.

[video] 7:13 It's not in the family. Genetics, no? No, not genetics. It's just bad luck. It's so clear that you've been such a big part of his journey. Amazing. I can't believe what I'm hearing. I'm glad it's me and not anybody else in my family.

7:27 circle but i can say i defeated cancer after this i still feel feel bumps you want to feel the little ones oh yeah you can feel the first two treatments i lost six kilograms uh just muscle because i don't really have fat six kilograms chemotherapy officially you can read about it anywhere the purpose of it is to kill specific cells of course and when you lose your cells then you automatically lose weight because you're losing your body that's why the mass decreases and that's why you look so sick

[video] 7:57 Still training calves. Yeah, still training calves. Never stop. No, damn. Train your calves. Sometimes it was easy to forget that he was really sick because he was so positive the entire time and he worked really hard in the gym. You got to see these calves. Did I answer your best body part? Uh, yes.

[video] 8:10 I don't think I've met people in your situation that go to the gym every single day. This is rest for me. This is rest for you. It doesn't feel...

8:17 Exercising every day literally kills your cells. And these cells need to go somewhere. And what they do is accumulate, of course. Am I saying that that's the cause? No, not necessarily. But does it add to it? Of course.

[video] 8:33 Heavy doesn't feel like I have to. I just want to. I'm mostly for mental right now. I'm making gains.

8:44 Actually, this is by definition body dysmorphia. It's the obsession with the gym. Being afraid of losing your so-called gains even though

8:57 You're on this treatment and what you still think about are these gains and the gym. That's the very, very definition of body dysmorphia. People are considered to have body dysmorphia if they have a cold and they still go to the gym even though they are sick. You are on this treatment and you're still obsessed with the gym. You need very, very serious help. It's a very, very serious kind of body dysmorphia.

[video] 9:25 This treatment takes three weeks. The first three days he's at the hospital for a few hours to get different types of medicine.

9:31 Oh my god, and he watches football.

[video] 9:34 Done, so we're going home now. Right now I'm really tired. I don't feel good. I haven't eaten today. I just ate some grapes. My girlfriend's doing my skincare. So, good night. Night.

9:48 If I would make a response to this on Rumble, for example, my video would be at least double as long. And that's because I would have so incredibly much

[video] 9:58 say about what's going on here i wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut i would just be talking non-stop because there's just so much we're home again i haven't eaten except for a banana so i got hungry on the second day which is a big win trying to get the proteins in so it's a good time third day of chemo with my support i'm kind of tired i'm done with it so this is the last piece of medicine so let's go just go home my hands are getting really dry in the chemo feel like old man's hands that's one of the side effects and see how dry it is it feels dry so annoying let's see how

[video] 10:28 Wait, what did he mean with look at the sky? You know that it's typical geoengineering, right? That he also doesn't understand. He is living in a different dimension from what it seems like.

[video] 10:56 Trying to get healthy, trying to get big.

11:00 Trying to get healthy, trying to get big. Healthy and big, oxymorons.

[video] 11:09 So let's look at the physique right now. This is what he looks like after four chemo sessions, while actually still working out as often as possible.

[video] 11:21 Still got some good chest going on. How are you feeling? What do you think of your own?

11:23 It's kind of weird to put him on the roller thing. You're showing off his body as if he's just a puppet.

[video] 11:30 I think it's not defined as much as I would like. I used to feel tight in my skin. You feel like you got smaller? Yeah, yeah. Obviously you did. You did get smaller. That's the reality. I want to go back again, you know? Do you think you will get the physique back? Yeah, I will. I don't have any doubts on that, but it feels like back to square zero or something. With your mindset and your training, you will 100% get back. Before everything happened, how much did you weigh? 83, 84 kilograms. I just find it weird to make a video about him, to use him for content.

12:09 It just seems strange to me. Let me know what you think about it. I just don't feel like this is right to put this... I mean, maybe he wants it, but to put this big camera on him, all of the light, and to put him on the rolling thing to show off his body just for views, clicks, attention...

12:28 Imagine if we had better doctors who would not tell their patients that them getting sick is bad luck. Imagine if they would say that there's at least a chance that it has to do with your lifestyle. Then he and other people would think twice about doing the same all over again. they would think hmm i used to work out every day and i don't know what this guy ate what else he did should i then not maybe reconsider it but if a doctor says it's bad luck then you just think oh okay i will just go into the same all over again because uh it has nothing to do with my lifestyle

[video] 13:11 Go for 20! 20! And how do you feel right now, right after a set like this? Just my condition, my cardio. It's so bad. But it's only going to get better from here. Definitely, yeah. 50 with a good condition. What else do you want to try? Let's do a squat. I haven't done a squat during the treatments or anything. Let's try that. How do you think squats will go? The technique will be fine. I'm not sure how heavy it feels.

13:29 Squats are pretty much the most useless exercise out of all. All of them are pretty much useless, but squats would never in a million years be done in nature. It's just completely pointless.

[video] 13:46 Today I finally meal prepped again. I made Korean beef with rice. I did it by myself.

13:51 He eats Korean beef, all right, and rice. Rice has a lot of arsenic that literally kills your cells. Again, not saying that that's the cause of it, but we already know two things which killed his cells.

[video] 14:08 And then Ruben said he had some news. So you have some big news for us.

[video] 14:14 These wings? Yeah.

[video] 14:23 Yeah, please, man. Come on. That's great news.

[video] 14:33 I want to link a fundraiser to this series. You can decide what we're going to be raising for. That's amazing. That's pretty nice of you guys. The first link in the description will bring you to our fundraiser where you can donate to cancer charities and research. We're trying to raise as much as possible together so we can help as many people as possible that have a similar story as Ruben. We will also be donating everything this YouTube series makes. So by watching and sharing this episode and the next ones, you are already helping. The fun part is now about to start.

14:52 Cancer research, that's really interesting because the people who actually researched cancer

14:59 Let's just say that something mysteriously happened to them.

[video] 15:04 Yeah. In the next episode, we will look at Ruben's 30-day progress. Subscribe to not miss that.

15:10 I feel bad for this guy because of what he went through. And also, of course, because of the... Which I won't say anything about because this is a YouTube video.

15:25 Fuck. I really hope that he recovers, but at the same time, seeing as he didn't learn his lesson, I don't really see a very bright future for him. As I said, if you believe that this was simply bad luck, which is what everybody around you tells you, seeing as you believe that you have this very healthy lifestyle of eating arsenic-filled rice and working out every day and who knows what else he does and eats, Then, of course, there's no way out of it. You would just get back into it.

16:01 Like I said, I really hope for the best, but how can you really hope for something good when you're going to do exactly the same all over again? As I said, it's absolutely insane. Thanks for watching.
