Keara Graves: New & Naive Vegan Doesn't Realize What Veganism Really Is

0:00 Hi everyone! I'm going to review what Kira Graves eats in a day. She's been vegan for one year now, still young and naive.

[video] 0:16 What up my beautiful people? Good morning! My hair's a little wet because I just hopped out of the shower, but I'm going to be vlogging my day today. I've had a lot of people ask, you know, how has your body changed and like your lifestyle changed since you became vegan? And it's actually been one year since I became vegan. My eating habits have actually changed a lot, believe it or not. I found out ways to eat healthier and to not... eat as much like meat substitutes or cheese substitutes and I'm trying to eat more whole foods now probably the most significant thing that changed within my body being vegan for a year is my digestive system has gotten way more efficient if you know what I mean like the bowel movements are just at an all-time high

1:02 way more efficient since you started eating whole foods. That simply means that you're eating more fiber, which is of course not digestible by the human digestive tract. That's not a good sign at all. That's not healthy in any way. If you would eat meat and other animal foods, then you would have less bowel movements because you would be digesting the food that you eat. If you would eat raw meat, which is your natural diet as a human being, then you would have very little bowel movements because it's so well digested.

[video] 1:39 I eat a lot of fiber in my diet and lots of fruits and vegetables, so that's probably why. And also eating meat too, I think slows your digestion a lot. So my body feels very light and happy. And also my energy levels, I'm probably a lot more energetic. So I'm going to show you the very first thing I do when I wake up is... I normally have a coffee and I think in my previous what I eat in a day video I had a coffee and I do still love my coffee don't get me wrong but I try not to have it every single day because it makes me really really jittery and it like gives me anxiety Coffee is a neurotoxin of course it gives you anxiety and other issues so-called mental issues simply because you ingest toxins you produce adrenaline you're incredibly stressed Sometimes it heightens the anxiety that I already have, which is not great. So I still find a way to get my caffeine in but without having coffee. And I'll show you how I do that.

2:39 That makes no difference.

[video] 2:43 Lauren's having her coffee today, but I'm not going to. It's just a typical vegan problem because you have no energy. Superfood powder. It's been my favorite this month and I've tried a lot of different types of greens powders and pretty much they all suck except for this one, but they're all super like gritty and grainy and tastes like grass, like, but not like the good type of grass. You know what I mean? This one's really good because it's really smooth and the taste isn't super strong so it doesn't taste like you're eating dirt when you drink it. Usually if I'm too lazy to make a smoothie, I'll just put ingredients powder like this into my drink.

[video] 3:25 You should be enjoying the taste of greens, grass, whatever. Since when? That has never been good. In any way.

[video] 3:47 it's super toxic in a lot of different things it's gluten-free dairy soy free 100 plant-based obviously and there's 16 superfood ingredients so not just wow which is awesome one day i'll have coffee one day i'll have the teeny green superfood powder the bowel movements that have been happening drinking this i don't know if you guys have trouble pooping you should try this greens powder it's also kind of like matcha green tea which I'm obsessed with that's probably where the plant-based caffeine comes in it also has acai berry in it so it tastes like you can taste that little like sweetness if you want to add some more sweetness to it I just add some agave syrup or just like a tiny little bit of like organic raw sugar we gave willow a little bit too much uh catnip today so she'll look quicker because she was meowing at 7 a.m she was meowing at 7 a.m you already know I know you're gonna be mad she's mad

4:41 Animal abuse.

[video] 4:42 Look at that. Hello. Hey. Look how mad she is. She's still cute when she's mad though. I usually do like half almond milk, half water because I don't want to waste all my almond milk. And almond milk is expensive. I'm going to do like a little bit of almond milk and then like the rest water.

4:57 Almond milk is not even made out of almonds. Look into it.

[video] 5:02 And it has all your daily vegetables in it. So you don't even need to worry about if you have trouble like getting your fruits and veggies in. If you just have one of these in it. Trouble.

5:11 Of course, because they taste horrible. Nobody wants to eat them.

[video] 5:17 That's why she puts in the mangoes.

5:20 So she doesn't taste the green powder anymore. Same with the almond milk.

[video] 5:25 We got a banana up in here.

5:27 You're living in denial.

[video] 5:28 Got a few seeds in this sketchy bag. And here we got some plant-based protein powder. It's usually like one scoop per person. I'm gonna do just like one scoop in here. Maybe like one and a half.

5:37 You're adding all of this stuff because you're thinking, how do I make it palatable? That's it.

5:45 Oh, yeah, okay. Of course. No vegan what I eat on a day video without the smoothie dance.

[video] 5:51 Which is freaking adorable. It also has a filter where you can put in tea.

5:58 There's something severely mentally ill about that. You're looking forward to toxicity and sugar.

[video] 6:12 That's really good actually. I don't know if I mentioned this before. but that's why I partnered up with Timmy Greens because I really loved their greens powder. And I wanted to work with them. None of them taste good, but this is good stuff.

6:27 25% off.

[video] 6:29 So it is lunch and usually we have this for breakfast, but this is our favorite like vegan breakfast slash lunch meal.

[video] 6:38 yeah yeah that smells fine okay so we're gonna show you how to make our iconic vegan breakfast burritos they're always different each time depending on what we have for groceries these are the main ingredients you're gonna need for the vegan breakfast burritos you need at least one onion one or two peppers we have some swiss chard some greens to put in it you need your tofu of course we have some black beans a lemon and turmeric this spice is really important to make the tofu and then we have our pita here we have an ezekiel pita it's sprouted whole grain tortillas it's so important for the tofu because you don't want to taste it nobody wants to taste tofu that's the first thing you're gonna need you always gotta add something and then we're gonna turn on the stove in a pan

7:24 it on medium heat and then get some olive oil and put that in the pan could you please stop cooking stuff in olive oil where do vegans get this idea plant oils oxidize especially olive oil it's carcinogenic it's gonna ruin your arteries everything in your body it's just super toxic for you it's in every way unhealthy are there some vegan doctors out there who promote it or what is this Anyway, just a typical meat replacement recipe coming up.

[video] 7:57 Yummy. That's a lot of onion. Basically, you're just going to wait until this gets transparent, and you're also going to add the garlic, but make sure you don't add the garlic too soon.

8:06 At least she cooks the onions, seeing as they are currently poisonous.

[video] 8:10 In goes the garlic clove. Make sure you mince it.

8:13 Garlic even more. Burns holes in your gut. Literally, if you don't cook it. Then you can destroy some of the toxins.

[video] 8:21 We did mostly yellow because that's Kira's favorite pepper. It is. We're going to let that cook for a bit and then add the spices. So we normally use salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, oregano, and basil. Oh yeah.

8:32 All toxic. No joke.

[video] 8:36 This is very squishy. Not for tofu. No, it's not ideal. So it's going to look disgusting. But no animals were harmed in the making of this, so. Basically, you...

8:49 Actually, that's not true. I can see two animals that were harmed because you're gonna eat the tofu, you're getting no nutrients out of it, you actually want to eat meat, which is obvious to everybody who's not vegan, who's watching this right now. It's super typical for vegans to use tofu, then slice it and try to make it crispy or add sauces. Try to make it into so-called scrambled eggs.

[video] 9:19 Cut it into threes or fours. Yum! By drying it out, it's really easy to crumble in your hands, see? Looks like eggs, right? Yeah, it just starts to like do that. So now when you're waiting for the peppers to cook, I'm gonna get ready with the Swiss chard and the tofu's already prepared. So I'm just gonna cut it into like little chunks. You could use whatever greens you want. Swiss chard is extremely poisonous. Again.

9:50 Good that they don't need to draw.

[video] 9:53 So basically you just massage it with your hands and just let pieces gently fall out at a time. Yeah, just another egg scramble coming out. So you're going to get your ground turmeric, the spice. It's a very delicious spice and really good for you too. And you're just going to sprinkle it.

10:13 Obviously, turmeric is not delicious to any human being. It's actually incredibly off-putting because of how toxic it is. This is why she uses such small quantities of it. And she cooks it, which then destroys, of course, a lot of the toxins. If you would eat actual turmeric, not this ground-up dried spice, then you would die from it. If you would eat even this much... You wouldn't even be able to. Every sense in your body would say, stop, stop, stop, you're killing me. There's absolutely nothing in any way at all healthy about turmeric or any of these spices. It's just a completely made-up lie by the vegans. And of course, most people nowadays believe that plants are healthy.

[video] 11:02 So depending on how much tofu you have in here, just eyeball the amount of turmeric until it kind of turns yellow like this. And then it looks like scrambled eggs! We usually really load up our tortillas because we love this stuff. We're gonna sprinkle some beans over top. You can add the beans into the tofu scrambler.

11:23 Alright, have fun afterwards.

[video] 11:25 Usually we have hummus and salsa to put on the wraps as well, but we don't have that right now. So I'm just gonna put some nutritional yeast which has really Excellent vitamins in it. It's rich in vitamin B12, which us vegans need.

11:37 And I'm also going to put a bit of like... Yeah, it's not at all synthetic and toxic. No, no, no.

[video] 11:42 Just a little bite. You just want some cheesy flavor, that's it.

[video] 11:51 Lauren here has a big sweet tooth. So we're going to get vegan sweets. Voila. Yummy. So we are... We made this... No, I'm just kidding. Weird 90s clothes. When we came to Kensington just to get cupcakes, speaking cupcakes, and then we were like, oh shit, we're actually hungry. So we got this bowl to split. It has broccoli, tofu, spinach, mushrooms, carrots, coconut shavings on top, sweet potato, stuff that looks like cheese, but I'm not sure what it is. It's definitely not cheese. Where?

12:28 You wish it was cheese. Broccoli is extremely toxic and actually kills yourselves. It kills anything that it comes in contact with, seeing as it's an antibiotic, as in anti-life. Sulforaphane? Heard of that? Probably not.

[video] 12:45 Right there! Oh. We finished our bowl, it was delicious. Liar. It is time. Oh my gosh. I've been waiting for this for the past two weeks. If you guys are from Toronto and you haven't been to Bunner's and you're vegan and or gluten free. What you doing? Get there right now. It's an amazing bake shop. It's vegan and gluten free. Makes me never want to visit Toronto. Get that acid water. Ooh, so it's like a brownie cookie, right? Is that what it stands for?

13:19 Alright, so you get no nutrients all day long, and then you eat absolute junk to destroy your arteries.

[video] 13:24 And I think the proceeds go towards a black charity?

13:26 Just absolute glycation transfer destruction.

[video] 13:30 And this is a cookies and cream cupcake, and that's Joe Louie. It's like a Canadian thing, but it's a vegan edition. There's like cream in the middle. And like, I know this is supposed to be like kind of a healthy vlog, but it's not, so...

13:45 right nothing great was healthy so far let's see oh okay there we go popcorn is one of the unhealthiest things you could possibly eat i feel just better and more connected to animals and the earth that i'm not harming any animals or consuming animals incredibly ignorant Vegans, by ordering their so-called plant-based food, kill way more animals than any slaughterhouses out there combined. It's simply that you don't care about any rodents, birds and so on being killed.

[video] 14:28 mono crops for example all of plant agriculture kills animals and destroys the environment not contributing to the animal abuse that's happening on factory farms and my body feels better i find blah blah you don't even care about them Me? What's your favorite thing about being vegan? Like you said, I feel really connected with Earth and honestly the universe more. I've been vegan for over a year and a half.

14:59 And it's really cool and trendy and we can make these videos and get some money from it. We can say that we are the cool kids in the park. We can feel better than everybody else. It's just so super cool to live in Toronto and be like this. We can wear these super cool clothes.

[video] 15:17 I can't even.

15:29 We can't even make fun of it. It's just so dumb.

[video] 15:32 I cut out meats like entirely. Pretty much cold turkey. I get it. So it's kind of pretty much an easy transition. So if you are thinking of going vegan, just try it for a couple weeks. See how you feel. You'll notice a difference. Being vegan is not as...

15:48 It's pretty funny how she says cold turkey, not realizing that all of the sayings that we use nowadays are based around eating animals, seeing as that's what human beings do in nature. There's nothing else. Veganism is a completely man-made religion. It's a new trend.

[video] 16:04 Expensive as you think. Honestly, Kira, you can make a video, like, how to be vegan on a budget we'll make a tick tock yeah and i was really really happy to partner up with timmy because i absolutely love their greens powder and i'm going yeah yeah because it rocks and if you want a really tasty and delicious and nutritious greens powder you should totally check them out it's really good okay this girl or whatever they are they're promoting malnutrition

16:37 Plants don't have over 15 nutrients. That's incredibly many micronutrients that you're missing out on. And this is exactly why vegans start craving meat. It may take months, for some it takes years. She's pretty new one year. That's nothing, wait 3, 4, 5 years. then the real cravings will start kicking in, if you can even last that long. Most vegans last three years maximum, the ones who don't cheat. Of course, there's a lot of fake vegans out there who still call themselves vegan, even though they eat the so-called plant-based diet, as in some animal foods on the side. But they still believe in it and promote it to everybody, even though they can't even do it themselves. She may actually really be doing it.

17:33 There's no way that you can even survive without micronutrients long term. Of course, you're getting the calories as in the macronutrients, but because you're not getting the micronutrients, you're gonna start seeing a lot of health problems. Thanks for watching.
