Lillie Kane: Another Victim of the Fake Carnivore Diet @Lillie Kane

0:00 Yo guys, as requested, I'm going to be responding to the latest video by Lily Kane, Why I Quit Carnivore. Firstly, just to make it clear, I don't support a fake carnivore diet of eating cooked muscle meat. Secondly, I already made a response to one of her videos almost two years ago. I said that she won't be able to maintain this diet and as you can see in the comments, she said that she doesn't eat a carnivore diet and actually eats sweet potatoes and fruit. We'll see if she will mention this in this video. If she's honest, then she will. According to this, she hasn't been eating a carnivore diet for almost two years already.
[video] 0:40 We've got a lot to talk about from my blood work and elevated ferritin levels to my horrible...
0:47 I said that she would get problems with the minerals in her blood.
[video] 0:51 Acne breakouts to my dermatitis slash dandruff and my thyroid to clickbait generating eating disorders to the deliciousness of broccoli.
0:59 Really broccoli, you actually find a flower delicious. Most people don't realize that broccoli is literally a flower. No human being on earth enjoys the taste of flowers. It's just never been recorded.
[video] 1:12 And a whole lot more. I'm already sweating over here. I feel like I've got a lot to get off my chest. So let's just start from the beginning.
[video] 1:28 During the pandemic, I read 50 books, one of which was called The Millionaire Messenger by Brennan Michard, which explains we all have a story, and by sharing our experiences, it can prevent others from having to struggle for as long, make the same mistakes that we did, and can even ignite hope.
1:40 That's interesting, 50 books. I can't stand reading books. The only book that I ever enjoyed was the one by Ajna's Wonderplanets, We Want to Live. It's simply because there's nothing that I can learn from anybody else, seeing as we already all have the truth inside of ourselves, and that is nature. People who read a lot of books, especially the Bible for sure, are people who are lost. They are looking for the answer to life.
[video] 2:05 Okay, that's exactly what I meant, yep.
[video] 2:25 What meals could I make that have a lot of protein, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, and nutrients? What foods are easy to make, cost-effective, taste yummy, and make me feel great? And it just so happens, meat, fish, eggs, and dairy hit all those buckets, though I promise you, if hot cheetos and donuts hit those categories, I'd be eating that. Now, once I figured out a diet of meat, fish, eggs, and dairy could give me all that I needed, and I started eating this carnivore-ish diet, I immediately saw my acne disappear, my long-term knee pain heal, my sugar cravings
2:51 Yes, acne is simply the toxins which are leaving your body through white blood cells. It's your body detoxing through the skin. And if you don't consume Cheetos and donuts, which I assume she used to do, then you won't get this acne anymore.
[video] 3:07 My period became irregular for the first time in my whole life. And I was no longer getting sick multiple times a year. However, I also started having this itching and burning on the back of my head. And we'll talk more on this later, but my head started itching when I did start eating a high-fat, low-carb, animal-based diet. Also, I began eating this way during COVID, and I was very stressed during this time. We had a lot going on in our personal life, so either it was one or the other, but something along the lines of stress stimulated an itchy head. So anyway, I...
3:31 It's a fungus overgrowth. That's what dandruff is. It's your body trying to get rid of toxins. It's when your gut is messed up and the fungus overtakes the gut and spreads throughout the body.
[video] 3:44 It seems like anybody can get a certification to be a health and life coach. What does that even mean?
[video] 3:59 passionate about bringing people joy because through my experiences as a child and just having a you know more miserably sad hopeless kind of outlook on life at times because if i can inspire people to make even just a couple small changes that improve their health and they therefore become happier then i'm very happy
[video] 4:18 Where back then, if you had seasonings and they didn't cause you any issues, go for it. If you had coffee and it doesn't bother you, sweet, I'm rooting for you. If you like mustard on your burger patty, cool, whatever, it's no big deal. However, gradually the carnivore diet started becoming more popular. And over the years, more people started creating videos saying things like, if you're not doing carnivore diet perfectly, then you ain't doing carnivore right, and you can't say that you're carnivore. Hey, dairy?
4:40 None of these people should be able to say that they are carnivore because a carnivore by the biological definition is an animal that eats at least 20% raw meat. That's the very definition of it. It doesn't matter if you're eating 100% cooked meat without any seasonings, coffee or whatever. You're still not a carnivore biologically because carnivores don't cook their meat. It's just as simple as that. If you eat 80% fruit and 20% raw meat, then you're a carnivore biologically. That's just what a carnivorous animal is by the biological definition.
[video] 5:17 That doesn't count. Coffee? What? Forget about it. You flush that coffee down the toilet. You want to put seasonings on your steak? What are you, a vegan or something? Don't even look at a plant. And I was getting blown up in the comment section every time I'd squeeze lemon on my sardines.
5:31 Yeah, that's absolutely stupid and that's why these fake carnivore people are more or less the same as vegans. They are also in a cult, they also have these rules which they live by. A lot of these fake carnivores are actually ex-vegans.
[video] 5:44 I just watched an Instagram reel this morning where someone was like, for the last X number of years, I've been eating mostly red meat and animal products. And I was like, mostly? Since when? You would have said only if it was only, as you've said this in the past.
5:55 Yes, exactly. It's the same as vegans calling themselves plant-based instead of vegan. They just don't want to admit that they have been eating some animal foods. And the carnivores don't want to admit that they have been eating some plants. Stop being in a cult! Follow your natural intuition, your biology, and eat exactly what you want to eat, as long as the food is natural. That's the only rule in life in general, not only when it comes to food.
[video] 6:22 So what is it now that you're eating? You know, why aren't you showing people? There should be nothing to hide. I just started seeing influencers try to one-up the other as to who could be the most carnivore. Like, I'm so carnivore, I'll eat my meats raw. And it just started turning into like a carnivore.
6:35 Yes, that literally is what being carnivorous actually means.
[video] 6:39 Cult, where people were more focused on being strict rather than on being healthy.
6:44 No, it's not about being strict. You should not follow any man-made rules and restrict yourself. You should eat exactly what you want to eat, not what somebody else tells you to eat. And once you start eating raw meat, then you will realize that this is really what we are naturally supposed to eat. That's what all of the humans eat in nature. And that's when you feel the best. You actually feel euphoric. I understand that she's putting on an act for the video, smiling all of the time. It's not even normal. It makes you look a bit strange, let's just say. But when you actually start eating mostly animal organs, you feel true happiness. And then you know. When you're eating all of these man-made diets, you just don't know up until you start eating naturally.
[video] 7:28 Also, I had looked up to certain influencers and certain doctors and then once I got to speak with them one-on-one, it was kind of like a Wizard of Oz moment where I pulled back the curtain and I was like, oh, you're just a human. You're not this benevolent all-knowing being. In fact, they cuss, they gossip, they say mean things, they don't have all the answers to my questions and I'll be the first to admit...
7:45 Yes, it's terrible that that's how it is online. People have this strange view of you when they see you online, because they don't know you in real life. And then when they meet you, they realize that you're just a human being, even though it's obvious, but it's as if they just don't understand it. It's just something that the Internet does to people.
[video] 8:05 I am not perfect. I have my flaws, including a flaw being that I used to watch videos and think, well, they're speaking with so much confidence that surely what they're saying must be true. I mean, if there's one general consensus among the people who I've interviewed, it's avoid eating processed junk foods as much as possible and stick to eating real whole
8:20 Those foods are also processed, seeing as eggs don't look like that naturally. It's a cooked egg, it's a processed food, and the cheese is also a processed food. Broccoli is a flower which doesn't exist in nature. I'm sure that you don't go to a forest and pick the flowers and eat them, so why do you eat broccoli? The fruits don't exist like that in nature, the pistachios also don't. I get her point, but what people really need to do is start eating natural food, in its natural state, you can't eat the stuff on the right, obviously, seeing as it doesn't exist in nature, and then you need to see how you feel, and if you then add coffee back to your so-called diet, and you actually feel fine, then it's fine, it's just impossible that it will be like that, because once you detox from the coffee, you will realize how terrible you feel once you start drinking it again, and that's how it will be for anything that's unnatural.
[video] 9:14 all single ingredient foods. Though if there's a single ingredient food that causes you some sort of negative response, then I wouldn't have it. For example, I think eggs are incredibly nutritious. And if you can tolerate eggs, I'd do it.
9:25 Though there was a period in- It's funny how she says that eggs are nutritious and then she shows the process of cooking the eggs when you destroy the nutrients.
[video] 9:33 So October 13th, 2021, so two and a half years ago, I posted a video with the 10 reasons why I don't eat a carnivore diet. And the sweet potatoes, that was in 2022, when you said it.
[video] 9:59 It's still been itchy. And because it's itchy, then when I scratch it, things will flake off. So now it's more like dandruff. And then when it's more dandruffy, then it stresses me out. And then I have more like psoriasis or kind of like dermatitis.
10:11 This is what Ajna's Wonder Planets wrote about psoriasis. He mentioned cooked red vegetables, which could be the sweet potatoes, which she was eating, but she hasn't mentioned them yet. And it doesn't seem like she will. because of the lymphatic system being congested and then volatile toxins, preservatives, pesticides, which you will also get from the fruits and the sweet potatoes. She wasn't eating a carnivore diet, which wouldn't have any pesticides and those kinds of toxins. It makes you wonder what was actually causing the psoriasis and dermatitis in general.
[video] 10:52 The ferritin levels were slightly higher.
11:08 It's not such a big deal. The meat which we show doesn't have that much iron compared to blood. Beef, for example, has eight times less iron than there is in blood. You wouldn't get too much iron from eating any kind of meat. And besides that, the human body filters out the minerals which it doesn't need. You pee them out for the most part. It's not as if you eat food and then you automatically get that many minerals out of it. You get whatever you need.
[video] 11:39 were still in range, my thyroid still wasn't as optimal as it could be. And having dry skin can be a sign that someone...
11:46 It sounds a lot like it had more to do with the thyroid not functioning rather than her eating too much meat.
[video] 11:52 ...has maybe some thyroid issues going on. I went over my lab work with Dr. Sabrina Solt and she had said that I may benefit by having a little bit of broccoli, which I had randomly would have like grilled onions or some carrots maybe here or there. But for the most part, over the last like three-ish years, I really didn't have any vegetables because, well, I always remembered them not tasting very great.
12:09 the sweet potatoes are technically a vegetable it's a root vegetable so that's not true and if you grill the onions then you don't actually get anything out of them a grilled onion is just dead fiber there's no micro or macronutrients left anymore seeing as she was recommended to eat broccoli we can assume that she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism And that's interesting because from my research, the main reason you get this problem is because of cooked meat and eggs, which is what her diet was mostly made out of. It would have been interesting to know what would have happened if she ate raw meat and eggs as you naturally should.
13:11 Come on, that's crazy. Even when people smell broccoli because of the sulforaphane alone, which is a very strong toxin, nobody likes it. And when you cook it, I don't know how she ate it, then the sulforaphane is released and everything smells. Everybody knows this.
[video] 13:28 Come on. Come on, come on.
[video] 13:37 months later. So December, 2023, we were visiting family for the holidays and they had Brussels sprouts and broccoli. And so we had it. And again, so tasty. Now at this point, my feathers were so ruffled about the whole scratchy itchy head, dandruffy, psoriasis, the scalp situation. And I'm telling you, I tried everything. I wrote a whole list down just so I wouldn't miss any of the things that I've tried. I've tried no processed foods, no fruits, no vegetables, no seasonings, no condiments, super strict carnivore, no dairy, no eggs. I've tried buying a hundred dollars.
14:02 Wow. Um, She has no processed foods at the top, but does she really not realize that her diet is made out of processed foods? All of the food that you eat, from what I saw so far, is processed. The process of cooking creates processed foods because it's not natural foods that you're eating. It's really strange. It really seems like she just doesn't get it.
[video] 14:30 silk pillowcase. I've tried new laundry detergent, a shower filter. I've tried washing my hair with egg yolks, washing my hair with apple cider vinegar, washing my hair with tallow, not washing my hair at all.
[video] 14:44 So to help bring our iron levels lower, we could either donate blood, have more copper, as copper can help metabolize iron, or have less foods high in iron, aka eat less red meat. So we decided to try all three. Now we haven't donated blood yet, but we did start supplementing with copper and having less red meat. Now that's
15:00 Donating blood is one of the stupidest things you can do. Seriously, your blood is your soul, your life. It's incredibly sacred.
[video] 15:10 It doesn't mean no red meat. We still have red meat. We just don't have it every single day, multiple times a day. And so instead of beef, we've been having more turkey, chicken, salmon, cod, mahi-mahi, oysters and sardines. I know a lot of people have been wondering why I've been eating more turkey. This is why. I definitely prefer the taste of ground beef over ground turkey, but... We'll see what happens with my iron. And because we're having more meats that have very high protein, they're very lean and they don't have a lot of fat, we have to add in the energy calories from either more fats or carbs. And because Bryce and I at that point had CGMs and we wanted to see how our blood sugars would respond to rice and potatoes, and I've been trying to heal my scalp and I started thinking, well, maybe the scalp thing is going on because I have too much iron or too much saturated...
15:47 If you have any problems with your skin, the number one food that's going to help is liver. If you cook it, you're not gonna get a lot of vitamin A out of it, but if you eat raw liver from healthy animals, you need to get it from a good source, then almost all of your skin problems, except if there's some really severe underlying issue, will go away. And that's simply because vitamin A completely heals your skin and your body in general. It's so strange. It's as if she researched nutrition from what it seems like so much. She talked to so many people, read so many books, some of which were probably related to food in some way, yet she still doesn't realize that you're just supposed to eat naturally. She still keeps eating super overcooked ground meat where you destroy 50% of the protein, probably even more from what it looks like, because it's really overcooked.
16:41 You have no B vitamins left anymore, you're eating a food which doesn't even have almost any micronutrients left, and a lot of the macronutrients are gone. And then you wonder why you have all of these health issues. It's just so strange, because... A thinking human being should, after so many years, realize that all that you need to do is eat naturally. If she would start eating natural, healthy, raw meat where you have all of the nutrients still intact, and especially organ meats where you're getting an abundance of nutrients which completely heal your gut and your skin and everything, essentially your whole body, then you would realize right away what you were doing wrong. But it's as if she just doesn't get it, she just can't get to this point.
[video] 17:27 maybe I've been too low carb for too long and I'm putting more stress on my body also contributing to the scalp thing since the scalp situation all started back when the COVID thing happened and I started eating lower carb high fat moral of the story is I decided I am going to try doing a higher carb diet approach and I started having 150 to 200 grams of carbs a day also I do talk about this all in my Instagram story I mentioned this like months ago so if you want more like up to date and even I show like what I'm eating in a day I do a lot of that through Instagram stories so I'll see you over on the gram The piece of fruit is what? The blueberries? Blueberries are one of the most sprayed fruits on Earth. That would for sure add to the dermatitis.
17:59 There she mentions the potatoes at last, but you've been eating that for two years already, if not even longer.
[video] 18:24 It's really interesting that she doesn't realize that she has never done a no processed whole foods diet. She really believes though that she has. That's very interesting. I wonder if a lot of these
18:47 fake carnivores actually believed it.
[video] 18:49 Or you could also go for the natural version, which is the sun.
19:13 A lot of these people who do these red light therapies don't realize that if you go into the sun, then you're doing actual natural red light therapy, which doesn't damage your skin, whereas that actually does.
[video] 19:24 Now laying out in the sun, this face mask should help me with keeping my skin looking young and not, you know, getting damaged by the sun as much.
19:32 I got this face mask from... Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.
19:38 She's really removed from nature. I didn't realize that it's this bad.
[video] 19:42 Bond charge, I just wear it for 10 minutes a day. I can still be doing my work, going on my laptop, watching TV and be- Come on, come on man.
19:52 Is this a joke? Oh my God.
[video] 19:54 Able to get like two birds, one stone done, making my skin look younger and also get my work done at the same time.
20:01 No, having artificial light on your face isn't gonna make you look younger. Only the natural red light from the sun can make you look younger. The sun is the fountain of youth. Everybody always used to know this up until a few decades ago when they wanted to sell you sunscreen.
[video] 20:19 Of course, of course, it's a sort of advertisement.
[video] 20:29 You don't actually get...
20:47 gas or bloating from carbs themselves, from carbohydrates, which is sugar, essentially. You do get it from fiber, which is indigestible. This distinction has to be made, because otherwise people will believe that whenever they eat carbohydrates, they will be bloated, but that's not true. When you eat certain kinds of fruits, not the ones which have a lot of fiber, but if you drink fruit juice, then for sure not anyway, not that you should, except if you mix it with fat and it's alright. for your blood sugar, but generally if you eat melons and those kind of fruits, you won't get this problem. But if you eat vegetables, root vegetables and even dairy for most people, then you will get these problems. But that's just your body telling you that the food that you're eating is indigestible.
[video] 21:35 Mustard is also a big problem for psoriasis and for your thyroid. Has she been eating that ever since she started eating a so-called carnivore diet? Because then we can for sure know one of the reasons why she has these problems.
[video] 22:00 Yes, doctors simply give you medications to cover up the symptoms. They never, of course, heal the actual cause of it.
[video] 22:21 This gives me more hope and makes me feel more relaxed because I really think that this is starting to turn more into like stress psoriasis and maybe more attributed to me being more like go go go anxious minded person and so I've been trying to breathe more, calm down.
22:36 On the last video which I reviewed in the comments she said that she didn't watch the video and it seems like she doesn't want to hear any other opinions about her diet and lifestyle but It would be very important for her to understand that she needs to start eating naturally to heal her problems because it seems like she feels like she has tried everything and she talks about not eating processed food even though pretty much all of the food that she eats is processed and unnatural for sure also. It's either processed when it comes to all of the animal products or it's... unnatural fruits and vegetables which don't even exist in nature, she has not yet tried eating a whole foods, unprocessed, natural so-called diet. And it's not even a diet because diets are man-made, whereas this is literally what humans eat in nature. And if you, as an animal, eat exactly what you're supposed to eat,
23:36 naturally, then how could you not feel the best? How could you then not be healthy? It makes sense, right? If a cow starts eating bones and cookies, then the cow won't be healthy. A cow should be eating all kinds of plants, especially grass. And if a human being starts doing the same, then of course the human being won't be healthy. If a cow would start eating cooked grass, then the cow would not be healthy. But humans don't realize that when they eat cooked meat, then they won't be as healthy, obviously, seeing as you're supposed to eat all of the food that you eat in its natural state, not in its processed state, which is what you're doing. And it really seems like you don't realize it. And now you're trying to figure out what's causing all of these issues. At the very least,
24:27 You should try for a few months eating only natural food, and then see if you actually feel better eating the processed food, such as the cooked meat. I can guarantee you 100% that you will never want to go back to eating cooked meat. Absolutely, really try it. Thanks for watching.
