0:00 Hey guys, I'm going to review a video by Ashleen Eaton, What I Eat in a Day as a Minimalist.
[video] 0:06 Well hey friends and welcome back. Today I want to take you along and share with you what I eat in a day as a minimalist. Most mornings I like to start with a glass of water to kickstart my hydration for the day.
0:19 Water actually dehydrates you. Try putting it on your skin and see how dry the skin gets and then imagine what happens on the inside.
[video] 0:29 Then for breakfast, I love smoothies and have one pretty much daily. And this one is a particular favorite of mine, containing a passion fruit and other tropical fruit blend, frozen banana, vanilla Greek yogurt, collagen powder, honey, and milk. It's super tasty, refreshing, and easy to make too. All that you need to do is put the ingredients into a blender and let it spin.
0:49 No need to use collagen powder. Simply eat a lot more meat. Very simple. And of course, collagen powder, it's powdered, is not going to work.
1:05 I'm glad to see that she's not a vegan minimalist.
[video] 1:11 I love how smooth it is and the bright pink color and the light tartness of the passion fruit.
1:16 Smoothies are usually pretty smooth.
[video] 1:18 It really does pair so well with the sweetness of that. And right after I finish, the first thing that I'll do is wash out my cup and my blender right away. Makes it a lot easier to clean before everything's dried out.
1:29 All right, it would have been better if she simply drank that in the morning instead of the water, but whatever. It's good that she got some animal fat inside of her, even though there was pasteurized still, it's better than nothing.
[video] 1:39 And then at some point in the morning, I'll usually make an iced coffee. This unsweet cold brew coffee from Stoke is one of my favorites. Of course. And I love to pair my coffee...
1:50 Coffee is insanely toxic. It's made from beans, which are seeds. Seeds are the most inedible toxic part of plants. It should never be consumed. And when you're consuming the actual liquid out of the beans, you're really getting the toxins in straight up into your blood.
[video] 2:08 With some oat milk, Oatly really is the best. And I love just shaking it up a little bit to create a frothy texture at the top of the coffee. It's one of my favorites.
2:16 If you use real dairy products anyway, then why would you use oatly? Why not just use milk, especially raw milk? If you're gonna consume caffeine, you could at least make it a tiny bit better.
[video] 2:29 We're at Lazy Girl Hacks, where you get a similar texture as if you'd actually froth the coffee. But it's a lot faster, easier, and requires less effort.
2:39 Okay, in other words, you're dealing with energy issues. You have no energy, which means that your diet is horrible. That's one thing we can know right away if somebody drinks coffee or anything like that.
[video] 2:48 And then once my coffee is done, I'll sit down to work for a few hours. And you'll notice that by this point in the day, I still haven't consumed any solid food. It's because I feel like my stomach takes a bit longer than most people's to wake up. I don't really get hungry until about 11 o'clock naturally. And so having a smoothie...
3:04 You do get hungry, you simply restrict yourself. And we already know that because you consumed a smoothie before.
[video] 3:09 It is a nice light way that I can break my fast while still not ingesting any super heavy foods too early in the day. Then usually somewhere between noon and one o'clock, I like to take a break and make some lunch. And since this is usually during the middle of my workday, I really try to keep things simple. And I tend to opt for lunches that I can make in under 10 minutes. And one lunch that I've been enjoying quite a bit recently is sourdough toast with sunny side up eggs. And to make that, I'll just put a piece of bread or two in the toaster oven and toast it until lightly brown. Then I'll get a fry pan and a couple of eggs and cook them over medium heat.
3:42 Very nice to see eggs, of course. Ideally, you would consume them raw. Ideally, she would have put the egg yolks into the smoothie, but okay, she's probably not gonna understand why. You're just destroying the nutrients. It's gonna be interesting to see what she eats throughout the day, because she obviously has digestive issues, which is why she doesn't want to eat in the morning. Bread, of course, is already one of the reasons why she has them.
4:07 That's bad. Is that butter? That would be nice. I hope so.
[video] 4:11 Once my toast and eggs are ready, I'll just top them with a bit of pepper, salt, and green onion.
[video] 4:21 And during the summer, I always try to make a point of enjoying some seasonal fruits, and right now, plums and peaches are in season where we live. So I cut up one of each to have with my lunch.
4:31 The fruit is man-made, it doesn't exist like that in nature. But okay, if you eat seasonal fruit, it's better than eating watermelon in winter.
[video] 4:38 Just like in the morning, I love preparing a cozy drink. This time using the Bloom Blue Lavender Blend.
[video] 4:50 And I love using it to make a bit of a latte. So I'll add about a teaspoon of that, a bit of honey, and some water, and then blend those ingredients together. It's like a tea or what? Lavender, spirulina, coconut milk, and some other cozy ingredients. And it's amazing both warm and cold.
5:07 Come on, man. Even the color is blue. Spirulina is one of the most toxic things on earth. It's loaded with heavy metals.
[video] 5:14 Decided on an iced version.
5:16 And lavender itself. Come on.
[video] 5:21 I like to call it my blue cloud potion. It's a very calming and cozy drink and it almost feels like it's giving you a hug. So I love sipping on it while I work and during the past few months...
5:31 I gotta say that this is quite a lot better than what Siberia Inside or whatever her channel is called. That was really bad. This is... I could... yeah.
[video] 5:43 It's become a bit of a summer afternoon ritual for me.
[video] 5:48 But then usually somewhere between 5 and 6 p.m., I'll wrap up the work for the day and get ready to make dinner. And our dinners are where I like to get a bit more creative. It's typically our biggest meal of the day, so I'll usually spend the most time on this meal. And for dinner on this day, I decided to make...
6:02 Does she not even go outside during the day?
[video] 6:04 These delicious sweet potato gnocchi bowls. They have sausage, mushrooms, and kale in them. They're one of those simple recipes.
6:12 Sausage, okay. Mushrooms, completely pointless. There's no micronutrients. There's no point whatsoever. Kale, one of the most toxic plants on earth. Man-made, doesn't exist in nature.
[video] 6:29 To bake for about 15 to 20 minutes. While I waited for that to cook, I added about a tablespoon of butter to a pan.
6:35 Very nice that she uses butter to cook.
[video] 6:37 I added the sausage. It's a bit of a weird process, but you basically just have to remove the sausage from the casing and add it to the pan. That way you can kind of treat it like a ground meat, working it up into bite-sized.
6:50 I find sausages disgusting, but for her, this is awesome.
[video] 6:59 While the sausage cooked, I got out the kale and a bowl.
7:02 When preparing kale, you don't really want to use the... She wants to satisfy her meat cravings, but then she combines it with the modern beliefs of greens being healthy for you. Women just really try to starve and destroy their bodies nowadays.
[video] 7:16 Because it's incredibly bitter. So it just took a few minutes to de-stem the kale and break it into bite sized pieces. By the time I finished, the sausage was fully cooked. Of course, I always recommend using a meat thermometer just to double check that. And then I turned the temperature to low and added the kale, stirring it until wilted. Shortly after the kale had wilted, our pan was ready. So I added the sweet potato gnocchi and sliced mushrooms from the oven to the pan, added one more tablespoon of butter. That is incredibly much indigestion. Then I just removed it from the heat.
7:51 Really, really cool that she adds the butter. That's surprising.
[video] 7:55 And as a bit of a final touch, I topped both meals with grated Parmesan.
8:00 Also very nice. Why do you eat the kale? I don't get it. Also the other garbage, really just the sausage or even better some other meat with some cheese on top. If you cooked food, what else do you need now? But she of course has to put in toxins for no reason.
[video] 8:15 Then I just put everything on the table and we got ready to eat.
8:25 Oh, how was your day? Yeah, you know, just farted all day long. Oh yeah, me too. After this game, we should probably go to separate rooms. Definitely.
[video] 8:35 So both the preparation and the cleanup are a breeze.
[video] 8:42 Then usually an hour or two after dinner, I'll get a bit snackish, craving something sweet. So I'll often sneak into the pantry and grab just a piece or two of dark chocolate.
8:52 By the way, now it all completely makes sense why she has the digestive issues, why she doesn't eat in the morning.
[video] 8:57 And towards the end of the night, Christopher and I will often watch a TV show or movie together. And I always love having a little something to munch on while we watch. So one of my go-tos for that is to have some frozen fruit. And recently, frozen pineapple has been my favorite. And of-
9:09 Frozen pineapple is actually pretty nice. I've only tried it once. Yeah.
[video] 9:14 Of course, no TV watching experience for me would be complete without a tea. And at night, I love gravitating towards caffeine-free teas. This peppermint tea is perfect for that. Not only is it very soothing and relaxing, but it's also great for your digestion too. I'll usually...
9:26 Haha, of course she mentions digestion because now, after eating all of those indigestible, toxic man-made plants, she has digestive issues and she needs something to help her digestion. Oh my God. And of course this is not going to help, come on. Pretty much all teas are made with toxic herbs. Of course it's not going to help.
[video] 9:49 But then with my frozen pineapple and tea in hand, I'll make my way over to the couch and Christopher and I will watch an episode or two of a show. But that's it. That's what I eat in a day.
9:58 That's all you have energy for probably also.
[video] 10:02 This gives you some inspiration and ideas for some simple and healthy meals. Hey, it's a miracle, Sol. Cool. Hmm.
10:22 Actually, the video as such was pretty nicely made, but she just doesn't understand that she has all of these digestive issues because of all of the indigestible plants that she eats. I guess most people simply hear somewhere that kale is healthy and all of this garbage, and they simply eat it without really thinking? If she would eat the sausage, cheese, and maybe something else, or just make a bigger portion, whatever, and just get the calories and the nutrients in that you need, then you wouldn't have all of these problems and you wouldn't need this digestive tea in the evening, and you wouldn't need the coffee in the morning, and you would just overall have better digestion, better hormones, Overall have more energy life would just generally be so much better. Thanks for watching guys
