0:00 Hi, I'm going to be reviewing Nick Bear's morning routine. It's been over two years since I reviewed one of his videos. We'll see what he's up to.
[video] 0:11 Hello and welcome to the video. Now this is my 5 a.m. morning routine. And if you're new to the channel, a little bit about me. So I've been married now for a little over five years. I'm a dad to two young kids. My daughter is about to be four years old. My son is about to be two years old. I'm a business owner. I started Bayer Performance Nutrition in 2012.
0:38 Let me correct you. You are not married because marriages don't exist. They are imaginary. And you also don't own a business. You imagine it.
[video] 0:50 Out of my small college apartment in western Pennsylvania. And I love to train.
0:56 I run in the morning and I lift weights. He loves to train. Let's see if that's true.
[video] 1:02 It's in the afternoon or the evenings. Now, this video shows a normal morning routine for me and my family. Now, the first thing I do every morning is consume my pre-run fuel, which consists of one scoop of G1M Sport and one scoop of G1M Sport Plus. This provides me with 40 grams of carbohydrates, 700 milligrams of sodium, and 150 milligrams of caffeine with no tropics.
1:31 Salt, I assume, with caffeine? Wow. Wow. Those are stimulants, but obviously stimulants are not good for you. They stress your body and that's why you're awake. You're simply alert because of the toxicity.
2:00 And if you do use stimulants, you need to ask yourself why you do it. Why do you have no energy or motivation to do what you do? Because a healthy human being should be able to do whatever he wants to do. But the problem is that he doesn't even want to do any of that.
[video] 2:22 But for the sake of this video, I chose to wear shorts for the demonstration.
2:29 Just going sunbathe outside. Obviously not in the morning, because that's not even possible, most likely. But the sun is not even that strong anyway. But later on, why stand in front of some man-made red lights?
[video] 2:53 From there, I change, lace up my running shoes, do some brief stretching and take off to my house and log my morning miles. Silence, solitude and some heavy sweating to start the day is a win in my book.
3:10 All of the sane people are still sleeping.
3:19 It's interesting that this wouldn't even be possible in nature anyway. Not that anybody would do it. You couldn't get anybody to do that, no matter what you would tell them. But my point is that he has these lights on and there's of course lights around him. All of these are artificial lights, meaning that naturally it's dark and there would be no roads in nature anyway. None of this would be possible.
4:01 This guy is really just running to his own grave and he doesn't get it.
4:21 Look at his face expression. He just cannot stop expressing the joy because as you could hear at the beginning of the video, he loves doing all of this. It's not at all as if he's in complete denial.
[video] 4:39 When I was in Ironman prep,
4:42 He lives in a fancy neighborhood.
[video] 5:01 So I'm running five days a week, four days during the week, one long run on the weekends, and then I'll do some high rock sessions during the week, and I'll incorporate compromised running into those workouts.
5:24 absolutely zero percent joy expressed throughout the whole run which is obvious but it needs to be pointed out because people like him really try to talk themselves into believing that they love doing it morning run complete six miles
[video] 5:46 44 minutes, 33 seconds at a 725 minute per mile pace.
5:51 You didn't complete anything. You simply ran around in a circle or whatever. There's no purpose to it. You just run. You simply got a step closer to a heart attack.
[video] 6:08 So what I do before I leave for my run is I start our sauna, just remotely from my phone. So the sauna right now is sitting at 215 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm gonna go hop in there immediately after this run. I'm sweating, I'm hot.
6:20 It's fancy you can start a torture chamber while torturing yourself outside.
[video] 6:28 Superhuman here in Texas right now, going right into the sauna, just cook a little bit longer.
6:42 This is the modern slave living counterintuitively, hating most of what he does. Some tattoos also are visible. And it's all about just suffering and pain.
7:18 Again, you can even hear it. Zero joy. He's suffering once again.
7:29 He wakes up super tired with the eye bags. Then he goes and suffers outside and then he suffers in the sauna. And that's his morning routine so far.
[video] 7:52 There's a few reasons I sauna in the morning.
7:55 And as soon as I'm... Jesus, man. Just look at what you're doing to yourself. Do you actually watch these videos yourself? That should be alarming.
[video] 8:04 I'm done in the sauna. I jump in the pool to cool off.
8:08 Oh my god, man. Wait, let's go back. Sauna in the morning. And as soon as I'm done... Wow, wow, wow, wow. If a human being has such eye bags and dark eye circles, then you must be experiencing chronic stress, which he is, as we can see.
[video] 8:28 I jump in the pool to cool off. So I hop in the sauna post-run. One, that is my time for prayer. That right there, that sauna, that's my secret place every morning. Secondly, the benefits you get from hopping in the sauna after an endurance training session, you maintain a higher heart rate for longer periods of time.
8:49 Oh, and that's a good thing. When your body is stressed, when your heart rate is high, then it's a sign of health? Or what is he trying to say? How is that a benefit?
[video] 9:04 So you get similar...
9:06 cardiovascular conditioning benefits, even though you're... Cardiovascular conditioning benefits, meaning that you're stressing your heart and there is a benefit to that. What is this benefit exactly? Please explain.
[video] 9:21 Done training, heart rate stays elevated. And then lastly, I love to sweat.
9:28 I love... These guys actually believe that stressing your heart, chronically stressing it, is somehow good for your heart.
9:40 How did people start believing that? It's so counterintuitive, it makes no sense. That's the last thing that you should do with your heart.
[video] 9:50 If I go a day without sweating profusely, I just don't feel like I put forth effort. And I think about the millions of people in this world who don't sweat on a regular basis. I couldn't imagine.
10:04 Yes, it's some kind of self-hate. Who wants to sweat? Who wants to be sticky? But even beyond that, who wants to be exhausted? in pain, who wants to suffer all the time? Nobody. If you're sweating, then you're overheating, meaning that you need to go into cold water, into the shade, any place where you can cool off. That's what you naturally want to do. You don't want to overheat and suffer.
[video] 10:42 I hop in the sauna immediately, post-run, and then right into the pool.
[video] 10:55 Nixie, you want your vitamins?
10:57 No, don't tell me you give the vitamins to the children. No. Oh, this guy. They are made in laboratories. They are made out of coal tar, for example. Petroleum. They are treated with all kinds of really acidic and harmful chemicals.
[video] 11:24 You want some protein?
[video] 11:28 Yeah.
11:31 Wow. This is the modern father. Hey, children, you want some protein? Whatever that is supposed to be. Some waste product, I assume. And some vitamins? Come here. I have the pills for you. Instead of giving the children natural food. This is never going to last. This kind of so-called lifestyle, death style, is absolutely unsustainable. He's at his end anyway. You can see it in his eyes and around the eyes.
[video] 12:13 Morning supplements. No, not creatine.
12:20 It has an LD50 value, obviously, because it's made out of petroleum, limestone and coal tar. And then, as I said, it's treated with very harmful chemicals. Unbelievable that people still fall for this.
12:39 got every day say goodbye to your liver man seriously all of these pills one serving of strong omega which is our fish oil supplement one serving of yes it's uh his company by the way he imagines it obviously but you understand what i mean endurance essentials
[video] 13:06 one serving of strong joints, and then a serving of strong multivitamin.
13:13 You need something for a strong brain, man. How did you fall for all of this? He actually swallows all of this. Does he understand how it's created? What the source materials are? Nah, definitely not. He would still maybe sell it if he would understand it. These people don't care what they sell to their subscribers. But he wouldn't swallow it himself. It's clear that he doesn't get any of that.
[video] 13:45 Those are my morning supplements every single morning. So when I get back from my run, Steph's waking up. The kids are slowly starting to wake up. Steph right now is doing her red light therapy in the closet and reading her Bible. And then as soon as she's done, she's going to head into the garage for her morning workout. And I'll get the kids up, dressed, get them some food, and then we'll all come back together as a family when Steph's done working out in the morning.
14:14 Wait, does the child sleep in his own room? I don't know, I could be wrong. If it's so, then that is horrible parenting, you're traumatizing the child, but who knows.
14:32 It did look like a separate room.
14:38 Children need to be with their parents, with the family, with everybody. You should never isolate them. It's horrible. It's a dirty football.
[video] 14:56 Okay, the good old morning routine. I feel like four years into parenthood, Nick and I really dialed the same where it works for both of us. We both kind of get to prioritize her.
15:04 She also looks exhausted, obviously.
[video] 15:07 Health and ourself in the morning. So Nick's the one that takes them for the team.
15:11 What fucking health? You chronically stress yourself and then you swallow pills made by pharmaceutical companies. Tell me what that has to do with health in any way at all.
[video] 15:24 He gets up extra early, 5 a.m. or sometimes even a little bit early. He knocks out his rally while I get to sleep a little bit, and I'll get the kids up if they're waking up early, which is most days. And then when he gets back, we kind of do the good old switcheroo, and then it is my time to head to our garage gym and work out. So for me lately, it's just been strictly strength. I still like to sprinkle in a little bit of Pilates just like one or two times a week for core strength. So that's what I'm doing today. So let's get it done, because I only have about 10 more minutes.
[video] 15:57 Breakfast every morning has been a smoothie. So we have this beast health blender, which I think is an absolute, I mean, literal beast. It's the best blender I've found yet. What I add to this smoothie is two scoops.
16:09 Whey protein waste product with microplastics.
[video] 16:14 Of our fudge chocolate whey protein isolate. Two frozen bananas.
16:21 Chocolate flavor, toxic seed flavor, lovely.
16:26 Some peanut butter. Legume butter, legume slime. Butter.
[video] 16:31 A little bit of almond milk.
16:34 Almond milk. Would you swallow that if it wouldn't be full of sugar? Of course not. It would taste horrible. It just covers up the horrible taste.
16:50 It's...
[video] 16:52 over for him. And three quarters of a cup of old fashioned oats.
16:59 So I throw all this in the- Just seeds. A seed based meal, if you can call it that. Nice.
[video] 17:11 Some days you don't know what's gonna happen, but you just roll through the punches and have fun with it. So guys, thank you for watching. Thank you for supporting, and we'll see you in the next video.
17:24 He will maybe be able to do this until he's 40s, and biologically he will be beyond 60 then. If he won't stop in time, then one day you will see a video called Health Update, and in the video he will talk about these mysterious aches where his liver is but it cannot be liver damage because of all of the pharmaceuticals it must be something else he will also talk about his heart and how it's not beating properly anymore but it cannot be because he stressed his heart all of those years because Chronic stress is good for your body, especially your organs. He will also talk about all of the joint pains, but it's probably because
18:25 He's not sleeping properly. Maybe the position is wrong. It can never be this death style. It must be something else because living in denial is simply easier for a weak slave. Thanks for watching.
