0:00 Hi guys, I'm gonna review a video called Why do we make life so hard?

[video] 0:04 I was born in a poor village on the northeastern of Thailand.

[video] 0:16 When I was a kid, everything was fun and easy.

[video] 0:21 But when the TV came, many people came to the village, they said, you are poor.

0:27 That's interesting, the TV came and brainwashed people to believe that some are poor and some are rich. It's a way to divide people, only one of the ways, but of course there's no such thing as being poor in nature. There's no money. Money doesn't exist anyway. It's only in your head. And you can't even own anything. It's not possible naturally. You just live your life. There's no rich or poor people. It's this slave system that came to even these more natural parts of Thailand. That's what happened in every place on earth and it consumed them.

[video] 1:12 You need to go to Bangkok to pursue success in your life.

1:16 Yeah, you need to go to the big city to be successful, to have nonexistent money, cars, a house, blah, blah, blah.

[video] 1:28 So I feel bad. I feel poor. So I need to go to Bangkok.

[video] 1:38 When I went to Bangkok, it's not very fun.

[video] 1:43 I work very hard, eight hours per day at least. But what I can eat is just a bowl of noodles per meal.

[video] 1:51 And where I stay is very bad, a small room with a lot of people asleep. It's very hard.

[video] 1:59 I start to question a lot. When I work hard, why my life so bad?

2:06 Hmm. When I work hard, why is my life so hard? That's interesting. Something to think about.

[video] 2:12 It must be something wrong. Because I produce a lot of things, but I cannot get enough.

[video] 2:23 I try to study in university. And I start to look at the subjects in university. Every faculty, most of them is destructive knowledge. If you learn to be architect or engineer, that means you ruin more.

2:39 Yeah, exactly. Does he mean that you ruin more nature if you become an architect and build man-made buildings? Yeah, that's very correct then.

[video] 2:51 The more these people work, the mountains will be destroyed more. And the good land will be covered with concrete more and more.

[video] 3:01 If you learn agriculture, That means you learn how to poison the land, the water.

3:09 Yeah, exactly. You learn how to do agriculture and you poison the land and the water. Exactly right.

[video] 3:15 And learn to destroy everything.

[video] 3:19 We have so many people who finished from university. So many universities on the earth. So many clever people on this earth. But our life is harder and harder.

[video] 3:34 We make it hard for who?

[video] 3:38 We work hard for who right now?

[video] 3:45 I start to think about why I have to be here in Bangkok. I thought about when I was a kid. Nobody worked eight hours per day. Everybody worked two months a year. Planting rice one month and harvest the rice another month.

4:01 It's interesting to think about this, how your life was when you were a child. You probably remember that also. No worries about anything. You just play. You gather food or in this modern slave system you buy food at the supermarket or your parents give it to you, the way it would be in nature also, except that they would be getting it by hunting and gathering it. But the point is that you had no obligations. You still don't have any obligations, but You believe that you do. You believe that you need to follow all of these rules.

4:36 It's interesting to realize that that's how your whole life was supposed to be. You remember? The carefree child that you used to be. Just playing around, having fun, doing whatever you want every day. That's how your whole life was supposed to be. It's crazy to realize that, huh? Yeah.

[video] 4:55 The rest is 10 months of free time.

[video] 5:00 I feel like, is something wrong in there? I cannot live in this way of living. So I decide to quit university and went back home.

[video] 5:17 When I went back home, I start to live like I remember when I was a kid. I start to work two months a year.

[video] 5:26 I got four tons of rice. And then the whole family, six people, we eat less than half a ton per year. So we can sell some rice. And then I dug two fish ponds. We have fish to eat all year round.

5:44 A fish pond. And what they did was...

5:48 Harvest the rice. I think that what he means is that he worked two months a year, which means that they were taking care of the rice, which seemed like work, and that's how it is, but the fishing, the hunting, fishing is a sort of hunting by definition, doesn't feel like work to them. That's interesting, right? And that's exactly how it is. Naturally, there is no such thing as work in nature. Work is always something that you're forced to do. Hunting never feels like work, because hunting is something that you want to do. That's why he didn't say that they worked for two months, but then also worked to hunt to get the fish, because it doesn't seem like work, because it isn't. Because you want to do it. Because hunting is fun. The same way you played games as a kid, It's the same way you hunt. It's always fun. Your whole life was supposed to be you playing games, having fun. That's the reality of our life, how it's naturally supposed to be.

6:49 So messed up.

[video] 6:50 I started a small garden. Less than half an acre. And I spent 15 minutes per day to take care of the garden. I have more than 30 varieties of vegetables in the garden.

[video] 7:06 I start to do earthen building. It's so easy. I spend two hours per day.

7:12 Exactly, it's easy and... I don't know if you can call it fun, but yeah, you're creating. Children love to do it also. Yeah, you could call it fun. There's nothing bad about it. It doesn't seem like work, that's what I mean.

[video] 7:28 In three months, I got a house. I keep building at least one house a year. Now I have no money, but I have many houses.

7:39 Again, exactly in the slave system, you need to pay for buildings, to build them or to rent them. But in nature, you just build wherever you want to, whatever you want to.

[video] 7:50 Another friend who was the most clever in the class, he spent three months to build his house too. But he had to be in debt 30 years. So compared to him, I have 29 years and 10 months of free time.

[video] 8:07 The next thing is clothing. I feel like I'm poor. I feel like I'm not handsome. I try to dress like somebody else, like a movie star, to make myself look good, look better. I spend one month to save money to buy a pair of jeans. When I wear it, I turn left and turn right, look at the mirror. Every time I look, I'm the same person.

8:32 That's interesting. It seems like he realized that no matter what clothes you use, which is what they would advertise with these Hollywood actors, singers, it still doesn't change his face, which is I think what he's talking about. It doesn't change anything about your whole body, but obviously you focus on the face. You just are who you are. The same way these Hollywood actors sell these perfumes, making you believe that you're gonna be as attractive as them if you have these toxic chemicals on you and you smell like them. Not that they even use that stuff anyway for the most part, probably. Point being, no matter what they try to sell you, it's never gonna change you. And he realized that you just are who you are.

[video] 9:21 The most expensive pen cannot change my life.

[video] 9:26 I start to think more about that. Why we need to follow fashion? Because when we follow fashion, we never catch up with it.

9:33 Yeah, fashion is a trap. It's to lure you in. It's a ruse. Because no matter what clothes you wear, it doesn't matter what you buy from these people, they use good-looking people to sell you garbage, which will never change who you are.

[video] 9:53 Because we follow it. So don't follow it, just stay here. Use what we have.

[video] 10:02 And the last thing is, when I get sick, what will I do?

[video] 10:07 Sickness is normal thing. It's not a bad thing. Sickness...

10:13 True, sickness is your body. Detoxing, for example, can also be other stuff. Can be that you were exposed to too much cold in winter, then you get a cold, pneumonia, worst case.

10:27 But it's your body simply reacting to your surroundings, whatever you put inside of your body or inhale, consume in some way. Sickness in itself is not bad. Sickness is a sign that you did something that's bad for you. But sickness itself is a healing mechanism.

[video] 10:45 It's something to remind us that something is wrong in my life.

[video] 10:50 So when I get sick, I need to stop and come back to myself.

[video] 10:56 I learned how to use water to heal myself, how to use earth to heal myself, how to use basic knowledge to heal myself.

[video] 11:11 After I rely on myself, these four things, I feel like life is very easy.

[video] 11:18 I feel freedom.

[video] 11:21 I feel free.

11:24 Oh, this video is so sweet, yeah. Yeah, it's great and of course in nature or living like him, it's pretty close to living naturally, you feel free. It's actual freedom because you can do whatever you want all the time. They were of course harvesting the rice, but besides that most of the year You feel free. You're not tied to any of the social norms, anything from civilizations.

[video] 12:00 Because they have a lot of time. They have time to be with themselves.

[video] 12:07 And when they have time to be with themselves... Yeah, think about it.

12:12 It doesn't matter what so-called day it is, seeing as you're not even counting days. It's man-made, it's just in your head, Monday, Tuesday, there's no such thing, right? Days, weeks, months, years, it's all to enslave you. Time doesn't even exist. It's all in your head, you've been brainwashed your whole life, but my point is that You wake up and you know you can just do whatever you want all day long. You don't even think about such a thing as all day long. Because you always live in the moment and you always do what you want to do. It's perfection. That's what a natural life is. It's complete freedom. There's nothing better than that. There can't be anything better than that.

12:54 Because it's the ultimate freedom, happiness.

[video] 12:57 They have time to understand themselves.

[video] 13:03 When they understand themselves, they can see what they want in their life.

[video] 13:11 Many people see that they want happiness.

[video] 13:17 They want love.

13:20 Yes, every human being, no matter who you are, where you come from, what you do for work, whether you work at a bank or you're a receptionist or you collect the garbage, it doesn't matter. Everybody wants to be healthy and happy, but happiness only comes from health. If you're not healthy, you can't be happy. So really it's just about health in the end anyway. Every human being on Earth wants to be healthy. It's the number one thing that we want.

[video] 13:52 They want to enjoy their life.

[video] 13:59 We were taught to disconnect ourselves from everything else.

[video] 14:05 To be independent.

[video] 14:09 So we can rely on the money only.

[video] 14:14 We don't need to rely on each other.

[video] 14:19 But now, to be happy, we need to come back.

[video] 14:24 to connect to ourselves again, to connect to other people, to connect our mind and body together again.

[video] 14:41 Life is easy.

[video] 14:45 The four basic needs, food, house, clothes, and medicine must be cheap and easy for everybody. That's the civilization.

[video] 14:59 But if we make these four things very hard for many people to get it, that's uncivilized.

[video] 15:07 So now when we look at everywhere around us, everything is so hard to get. So I feel like now is the most uncivilized era of human on this earth.

15:20 Civilization is exactly the problem. Civilization will always be enslavement.

[video] 15:29 I feel like it's wrong.

[video] 15:33 It's not normal.

[video] 15:37 To be a normal person, to be equal to animals. The birds make a nest in one or two days. The rats dig a hole in one night. But the clever human like us spent 30 years to have a house and many people can't believe that they can have a house in this life. So that's wrong. It's not normal.

[video] 16:01 So I just want to come back to normal.

16:11 At the end he said that he just wants to go back to normal. And normal means natural. When you say that something is not normal, really you're just saying that something is not natural. Sure, nowadays with social conditioning you may mean something else, but at the end of the day it always goes back to that. Because when you feel like something is really abnormal, it just doesn't seem right. You really just mean that it's unnatural, that it's man-made. When people, as he said at the end, can't have their own house, they don't have a roof over their head. It's when you live in a slave city, whereas in nature you can always build your own shelter. When you don't have food, it's because you rely on other people to give you food instead of hunting for food yourself. People still sort of do that in a city if they steal food.

17:09 It's sort of like they are going back to their natural instinct of hunting. Of course, what you hunt in a supermarket is usually gonna be garbage, but you're just trying to survive. He also said before that life is easy, and that's also true, even though there can be so-called hardships, and hunting may not always be easy. It can even be stressful, depends on how good of a hunter you are. If you're clever and strong, it's not going to be. But the point is that it is overall easy in the sense that you are always free to do whatever you want to. Whether the hunting itself, for example, or whatever problems arise may be hard, you just know that it's part of nature and it's just normal, it's just how life is. Nature tests you, you could say, to see who the strongest ones are.

18:08 The ones that will survive. You know, no matter what comes, that it's just part of nature. It's just how it's supposed to be. And even though it may appear hard, at the end you still know that it's easy, it's normal. It's just how life is supposed to be. I think that that was really his message at the end of this video.

18:33 You just always feel at ease no matter what comes. You can still, compared to how it is today, easily get food. You can easily build shelter. You can easily be happy. He also mentioned the medicine at the end. That's of course not needed, but okay. That's part of their beliefs there in Thailand. That's all right. Of course, if you eat natural food, especially the fish salads that they eat in Thailand. They eat raw fish salads in Thailand. They have a lot of raw food dishes actually. You're gonna be healthy. And if you're gonna be healthy, as I said, you're gonna be happy also. But overall, a great video. I think that it would make people think. about the kind of life that we are living today, being enslaved in a civilization, in this unnatural society, which is just in your head.

19:32 You can easily break free from it. Because there's nobody holding you back. It's just all in your head. You've simply been brainwashed your whole life. That's it. You just have invisible chains around you. It's very easy to break them off. You can do it. Thanks for watching.
