0:00 Hey guys, I'm going to be reviewing a video by Paul Saladino called The US just announced a 1 billion dollar plan to fix our health Airports are one of the most sedentary places in America Traveling in general between airports, airplanes Traveling can be pretty stressful. Airports are not exactly a place where you experience a lot of joy, except for when you arrive.
[video] 0:27 It's good that you're able to relax before the flight, sometimes also during the flight. That's why people pay for first class. They want the comfort.
[video] 0:46 Rolling out this billion-dollar grant to make airports across the nation healthy again. Secretary Sean Duffy, RFK Jr., making airports more family-friendly with a $1 billion initiative. Why do you think this is important to make airports more family-friendly? Walking, a few pull-ups, a few push-ups, even air squats, things that anyone can do can interrupt the process of inflammation that quickly occurs when we're sedentary.
1:08 wait wait wait what there's inflammation when you're sedentary humans in nature are sedentary they sit and lay most of the day what is he talking about what increases the inflammation in your body more than anything else exercise why doesn't he mention that
[video] 1:34 Being sedentary is bad for humans. Within an hour of sitting in an activity, we see negative changes in the human vasculature. Within two to three hours, inflammatory markers rise.
1:45 The inflammatory markers. It's a very vague measurement. But if you want to trust them, then you would see that after exercise, they skyrocket. Huh?
2:02 This video doesn't make any sense already, and it just started.
[video] 2:05 50% of Americans get any sort of significant activity during the week. Probably more than 50% of Americans are basically sedentary. 70 plus percent of Americans are obese, and so we have a problem.
2:19 And why are they obese? Oh yes, it's because they have an exercise deficiency, a chronic stress deficiency. That's what the Americans are lacking. It's not maybe the unnatural processed food that is making them overweight, obese. No, that can't be it. Humans in nature are sedentary by definition. They define being sedentary as sitting and laying for six to eight hours a day. There is different kind of definitions, but typically that's how they will define it.
2:58 I had the privilege of spending time with Secretary Kennedy and Secretary Sean Duffy.
3:10 As the DOT announced a new initiative to bring movement spaces and gyms into US airports. Awesome. Good job, Paul. That's what people need. More stress to traveling, the airports, that's not stressful enough. Let's give them some dumbbells, pull-up bars, or who knows what. Maybe we will see what they have planned. This is so stupid, it's beyond words.
[video] 3:42 We didn't even really have gyms up until...
4:02 20 years ago, really, I know that there obviously were gyms everywhere around the Earth. Not everywhere, actually, but in the US for sure. But it was very few in comparison. Now the numbers are skyrocketing. now people believe that chronic stress is somehow good for you how nobody can explain it nobody can explain how chronic stress is in any way beneficial i'm not even going to say healthy because it's obviously super unhealthy but even when it comes to naming any benefits nobody can name any benefits just nobody at all i've asked people for years i'm still waiting for an answer
[video] 4:42 He has built great connections, but he's making everything worse
[video] 5:10 His diet advice is helpful. But other than that, he doesn't really promote anything good. He sells poisonous supplements. He promotes chronic stress.
[video] 5:41 Crazy to me, even an hour of sitting decreases the vascular function of our blood vessels.
5:47 So inside of our... Obviously, you're not supposed to be stressed, always inflamed. Huh?
[video] 5:57 Blood vessels, we have a layer of cells called the endothelium. And that layer of cells...
6:02 Really? Really? Could you please show that to me? I just want to see it. It's not as if I don't believe you. I just want to see it. I want to see the proof for this. Oh, you cannot show it to me? It has never actually been observed? Huh, interesting. Then why do you show this animation? Why the animation?
[video] 6:26 He's talking to these people who don't even care. You can see it in their eyes. It's all a show.
[video] 6:41 Markers start to rise. But the good news is that even three to five minutes of walking or pull-ups or push-ups or air squats can restore function and decrease these inflammatory markers. When we move...
6:54 What does any of this matter? You should live intuitively, you should do what you want to do. Do you, in general, ever want to go and pull yourself up on a bar? If you do, then do it, but if you actually live intuitively, then you don't. You want to do some physical activities, for lack of a better word, Sometimes, naturally, but that's something else. You don't actually want to pull yourself up on a metal bar or whatever kind of bar. And you for sure don't want to do that in an airport when you're stressed.
[video] 7:31 If it's an air squat, there are things anyone can do, right? To any level, right? Two to three minutes. Two to three, maybe four or five minutes. Yes, because the muscles, when you contract your muscles, they release myokines. These are... Again, just some animations and you can never prove any of this.
7:52 Yes, we are meant to move and we want to move. Nobody wants to sit or lay around all day long. Not people who live in the system and for sure not humans in nature. Nobody denies that, there's no doubt about that. But nobody wants to exercise. There's no connection between moving and exercise. Exercise involves moving, but movement doesn't involve any exercise. I don't know how people don't understand that. You want to move, you want to do things, all normal, all natural, all good for you, because you want to do it. Because it's intuitive. Nobody wants to be chronically stressed. Nobody wants to go to a gym. Nobody wants to push heavy metal. Nobody wants to pull it. You don't want to put it on your back and then go up and down. What the fuck? Nobody wants to do any of this. How do you not understand this?
[video] 8:51 So cool that HHS and the Department of Transportation has become aware of this. If we give Americans, I think, healthier food options, but also I'm excited about mini gyms and airports. If we give people places to move, I think they will move. Oh, come on, look at this. Okay, this is worth it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Erica, you get some lineage meat here. It's the real deal. Yes. Listen, thank you for this. You said you haven't had any food today. I haven't eaten. I'm trying to help you out, bro. What would you want to see in a gym? We're thinking mini gyms. Could we create a space in the airport where people could get micro workouts, 10, 15 minutes, not get too sweaty, but still move? Sure. I mean, if it's possible, maybe we could make bigger gyms with showers and stuff, but at least in the beginning, at least a mini gym. Maybe some pull-ups. Pull-ups, yep. We got a pull-up bar upstairs right now. We're going to do some pull-ups. Oh, yeah? Yeah. We'll put it up there for the announcement. Yeah, dips, yep.
9:31 What's cool about that? Oh, yeah? Pull-ups, wow. You're such a good slave.
9:40 Yeah, just metal for the slaves to push and pull or maybe carry and it's all created for you to have a shorter lifespan, to simply age your body because all stress that you experience ages your body. When you compare somebody who goes to the gym and doesn't go to the gym, the one who goes to the gym will always have way more wrinkles. If you would compare two twins and one would eat naturally and the other one would also, but one would go to the gym at 40, one wouldn't have any wrinkles and the one who went to the gym would be full of wrinkles and you would see the premature aging, obviously. That's what stress does to you, especially chronic stress. And going to the gym and exercising is by definition chronic stress. And this is what they...
10:39 One for you, they want you to have a chronically stressed life. You go on holiday not to have stress. And that's why people who go on holiday don't work out, usually. Except if you're super obsessed and brainwashed. Typically, you want a break from the stress.
[video] 10:58 Paralettes for like push-ups. It's amazing what you can do with just simple activities. And the human body is heavy. And you know, you can move the human body just with a dip and feel a lot better. Today we're going to announce a billion dollars of funding for airports to make the experience better. So it's going to include nursing pods, play areas for kids.
11:12 Nursing pods, okay. Areas for kids to play. That's good.
[video] 11:18 We're going to have some pull-up bars, mini gym. If there's other ideas that airports have to make the experience better, we're open to it at DOT. If we had better options for people to eat in the airport...
11:26 It's actually completely insane that millions of people nowadays go and simply stress themselves, that's it.
[video] 11:36 The US food pyramid
11:53 now is a lot better than it used to be.
[video] 12:12 But this goes into the so-called opposite direction.
12:32 I just don't see how it's supposed to be healthy. If you would ask Paul, he would have no answer. Because if you tell him that those so-called inflammatory markers go up even way more when you exercise, compared to being sedentary, and who knows what he even means by that. I guess that he means somebody who eats junk food and is obese. And if they sit down because their bodies are so toxic, markers go up that's possible but not if you eat raw meat and drink blood you think that my inflammation is going up right now because i'm sitting here reviewing a video man what are you talking about humans in nature as i said sit around most of the day they lay around especially the women they breastfeed children you think that they are inflamed when they are sitting and breastfeeding their children.
13:32 It's so illogical. It's so beyond illogical.
[video] 13:35 It leads to us being happier, more gracious, and more caring with everyone around us. So I'm super excited to be a part of this effort. Thank you both for this opportunity. Thank you guys. If you guys want a gym in your local airport, this is what you do. You tag Secretary Duffy and Secretary Kennedy on Twitter, on X, whatever platform you're on, and tag your local airport. There is no natural need whatsoever for this.
[video] 14:10 Treadmills in an airport, sometimes you already
14:32 Try to walk up the stairs with your suitcase. He's just saying that you should have even more stress at an airport. That's it. You should adapt your body to stress. That's what being fit is all about. You adapt your body to the struggle. You exhaust yourself and then you become fitter. That's actually the word origin. You can look it up. Being fit doesn't mean healthy and really it means the opposite of being healthy. That's the messed up part and people nowadays use both of the words sort of interchangeably.
[video] 15:14 We can put yoga mats and maybe some rolling pins for people to move their muscles. Anything to get people moving, maybe some exercise bikes. These would be a massive step in the right direction and it's such a huge thing that we could do for Americans. What is this positive health impact? Name it. Come on.
[video] 15:45 That's just the beauty of this. When moms feel uncomfortable.
15:47 If he would say anything, then he would say that you will be stronger, which is nonsense because people nowadays have a backwards definition of strong. But even if he would say that your muscles would be bigger, that would not be a health benefit.
[video] 16:06 Well, in airports, we're not just imagining it. It's the infrastructure that is still patchy. It's inconsistent and it's not designed with real families in mind. This leadership that we're seeing from Secretary Duffy, Secretary Kennedy, and of course President Trump speaks volumes about our desire to revive the American family today and encourage young women to embrace the beauty of motherhood.
16:22 Okay, that's great.
[video] 16:25 Coincidence that as our public spaces often fail to accommodate for young moms and our beautiful children day in and day out, we're often seeing the lowest fertility rates that we've ever seen in the last few years in American history. As we work to rebuild a culture that supports the entire parenting experience and encouraging young people to embrace the single most important vocation we possibly can experience in bringing new life into this world, we also must embrace the sacred responsibility to help moms feed our babies.
16:53 This is what a news article is saying. As if dragging a three-wheeled carry-on across the mileage of an international airport isn't enough, the government wants you panting before your flight.
17:09 This week blah blah blah, pull-up competition, that's what we saw. 1 billion in grants the administration plans to allocate toward healthy airport upgrades. They were vague but mentioned projects like dedicated play areas for kids, as I said, that's good, more lactation pods, mini gyms,
17:39 As I said, the mini gyms are obviously harmful. If they would be useless, I wouldn't even make a video about it. Who cares? But it will simply make people more stressed. The flights will be worse. And when you arrive after a... 13 hour flight, which are rare, but they happen, you may already be sore.
18:07 The funding will come from a former president, blah blah, whatever. But over 30 US airport hubs already have children's play areas. And most airports have been required to provide private lactation areas since 2021. Improving the diet of Americans was a great idea, even if it's only to get healthier people for the military. But having more stress in your life, especially when you're traveling, is not something that anybody on this earth needs. Paul actually may really believe that Americans are overweight because they don't have enough stress in their lives. How is that a logical thought? No. How do you gain weight? By eating unnatural food.
19:06 Can you become overweight by eating raw meat, drinking blood or even eating the fake carnivore diet of cooked muscle meat? No, of course not. The problem is the unnatural food that Americans and most people on earth eat. That's why they are overweight. It's not as if you should eat unnatural food and then have chronic stress on top of that in your everyday life. How can you believe that that will make people healthy? Unnatural food and a lot of stress, is that really the recipe for health? Or is it the recipe for a disaster? Thanks for watching.
