0:00 For the first time in months, I ate cooked duck on my birthday and Christmas. Not surprisingly, I ended up appreciating raw food even more after that. I got acid reflux a few hours after eating it for the first time and it was incredibly dry. I was thirsty throughout the whole thing and even afterwards. This was new to me because I was so used to raw food. It's watery and hydrating. This was more or less the opposite. Even in school, we already learned that meat is over 70% water, so are eggs.

0:41 The only upside of eating cooked food was that it was warm and it's understandable why our body likes things that are close to its body temperature. If we would kill an animal and eat it, it would also be, except if it was a deep underwater fish. Those have a colder body temperature. When we eat whole raw foods, then we can utilize the H2O in our cells. Whereas if we simply drink tap water, for example, from glass, then it may do the opposite. It dries out our cells, it leaches nutrients from our digestive tract and blood, and it generally messes with the digestion in the stomach.

1:30 Although some water is also produced by metabolism in our cells. The way we usually try to compensate is to add plant oils nowadays to the cooked foods to make them more moist and this is a mistake. It's making it even more unhealthy.

[video] 1:51 Something that may surprise anyone from out of country is the locals' love of dining raw meat. Here, in the capital Addis Ababa, the big butcheries provide meat lovers the best raw flesh the country can supply. It's the legacy of our forefathers forwarded to the people of this generation. So eating raw meat, especially eating it together like this, makes us happy. Generally, it appears to be a source of happiness. Here, if you respect and adore people, one of the classy foods you invite them is raw meat. Whether you are from Ethiopia or a visitor from other countries, an Ethiopian asks you at least once to try eating meat, raw meat. I love eating raw meat very much. It is always better than the roasted meat for me. I have no words to explain the love I have for eating raw meat. Ethiopian people like eating raw meat so much.

[video] 2:50 The number of our customers is increasing from time to time and we provide them with the best service in the business. Personally, it makes me happy to see people dying meat with such interests.

2:59 The second most important thing you will get from raw food are the enzymes. This is another reason why fake meat could never work. They start the digestion process in our mouth and stomach.

3:14 If we eat cooked foods, it leaches enzymes from our body and the lack of them deteriorates our body.

3:26 You don't have to look like you're falling apart when you're 60 already with spots all over the place. And you shouldn't be doing any kind of dieting anyway if you want to lose weight for example. Because when you do a ketogenic diet, which is just another word for natural diet, then you get all the nutrients so you don't starve yourself.

3:50 Even if we eat in season fruit, we still end up in ketosis at the end of the day because our body always wants to go back to its natural state.

4:04 If you do a diet based on plants, then you end up starving yourself and that's how they look like.

[video] 4:13 So you have to take a hard look at what's going on out there. They're trying to get rid of our farmers, they're trying to get rid of our natural farms. And that's the only way you can get pure, whole, natural vitamins. Once you heat food above 105 degrees, you've destroyed the bacterial activity. And remember that all functions of any animal are bacterial. If you took an antibiotic for five days, you've destroyed 1% of the whole body's functionality. Think about that. Then you wonder why people who take antibiotics for extended periods get weaker and weaker and weaker and more susceptible. Lumpectomy. They're going to remove, what, 11 of your lymph glands? What do lymph glands do in the body? Lymph glands are your immune system.

[video] 5:13 There's really no such thing as an immune system. The pharmaceuticals idea of immune system is just to confuse you. You have a cleansing system in your body. The lymphatic system is responsible for cleaning any waste and toxin out of your body. It has to break down cells and dissolve them. into compounds that it can put under the skin so you can perspire them out of the body. 90% of toxins are supposed to leave through the skin. 10% through the other tracts, the digestive, bowels, urinary tract.

[video] 5:59 Fats are what dissolve toxins in the body. Your body gets the best energy from fats. It will dissolve toxins from fats, and it will protect and strengthen the body. So fats are the most important. Now you can say, oh, you don't look so fat, right? Well, that's because I've been eating nothing but raw since February of 72. And when you research and look at fats under an electronic microscope, especially after they're broken down in the stomach and in the area where the bile dumps, you find that these molecules are very, very tiny. When you take a cooked food and you analyze that, you'll find that these swell 5 to 50 times their normal size.

[video] 6:50 So you take fat back, you know, like, you know, the pork rind, and it's very, very thin, and then you cook it, and what happens? It's this big, swollen. So I'm 18, no, right now I'm 19% body fat, and I look like I'm 7 to 10% body fat. That's because all the fat in my body has been made with very tiny raw molecules.

7:16 People often like to mention bacteria when talking about the benefits of cooked food. Thankfully a lot of people understand now that we are made out of bacteria and it's the most important thing for us. But actually when you cook food the bacteria count increases as much as 60 times. It feeds on waste material, it's toxic and that's what it leaves behind in your body. When you freeze food, it also kills the bacteria. So eating raw food means avoiding cooked and frozen food. When you do this, you also disrespect nature because we kill to survive. We kill lives for our life. Doesn't matter if we kill animals or plants because it's been proven that they also sense pain and they communicate with each other.
