0:00 hey guys as requested by a lot of you i'm going to review paul saladino's latest full day of eating video before we start let's check out the thumbnail as we can see the face is photoshopped Why would you do that? We can see the way you look like in your videos anyway. The face is glowing. In the videos, the skin looks dry because of the salt and surfing. He also looks younger in the thumbnail. Over the fruits, it says vitamins. I assume that he's implying that fruits are an essential part of your diet. I also eat fruits, but I eat them when I want to hydrate my body and also when I want something sweet. That's it.
0:54 I don't see fruits as actual food, seeing as you cannot survive by only eating fruits. It's a sort of supplement, you could say. And then over the actual food, which I assume is liver, it says minerals. And here he's implying that it's something that you should eat now and then. Small pieces of liver. And he does eat raw liver, which is great.
1:31 Organ should be the largest part of your diet. There is no way around it. If you want to be healthy, that's what you have to do naturally. There's no way around nature. Then we have some muscle meat. He eats a lot of that. And the healthy fats are eggs and milk. He does drink raw milk. We'll see what he eats now in 2026.
[video] 1:59 This is what I eat in a day, 2026 edition. I'm gonna show you guys everything I eat in a day. I'm gonna take you through every gram of protein.
2:08 As we can see, he looks different in the actual videos.
[video] 2:14 fat, and carbohydrates. I'm gonna be honest with you, I've added some new stuff to my diet recently that I'm gonna show you in this video. Stuff that you might not expect me to eat, but I'm always trying to be healthier, I'm always trying to feel better, and I'm always trying to eat as varied a diet as possible.
2:29 That's all fine, but at the same time you should think,
2:34 why do I keep adding new foods to my diet? Why am I eating a diet in the first place? Why not just eat what humans eat in nature? Then you don't need to keep changing your diet because diets are man-made. And that's why your diet can change a lot. But what you're naturally supposed to eat never changes. A cow can also not choose a diet. This week I'll eat grass and then next week I'll eat grass-fed meat. It doesn't work like that.
[video] 3:12 While kicking as much butt as possible at the same time. At the end of this video, I'm going to show you the full calorie, macronutrient and micronutrient breakdown of what I've eaten in this- Really irrelevant.
3:24 I will probably skip that.
[video] 3:25 Today, I'm gonna tell you how many calories I eat total, how much protein, how much fat, how many- Doesn't matter.
3:31 Food doesn't have calories. That's obvious. I don't know why people even talk about that still nowadays.
[video] 3:37 Carbohydrates and show you all of the vitamins and minerals for what I eat in a day. So let's get into it.
3:42 I'm gonna begin by showing you what I eat first thing in the morning, right when I get- Is he going to show us the vitamins and minerals or is he going to show us some kind of app which tracks the vitamins and minerals. Will he actually show us physical objects, these vitamins and minerals? No, he won't because we cannot see them.
[video] 4:09 Before I go to surf, let's go.
4:14 First thing I do in the morning is I start... Just to be clear, you can see actual minerals, the rocks, those are real physical objects, but measuring them in food is a whole different story.
[video] 4:25 Start with a glass of water. I have reverse osmosis water, and that is what I mix my creatine into. It's important that your creatine is pure, third-party tested, and there's a trick...
4:38 It's important that your creatine is pure. Yes, exactly. The powder which is made out of petroleum and is treated with very toxic chemicals has to be pure. Let's eat pure petroleum. Awesome, man.
[video] 4:58 Here that I want to show you guys, if you get bloating from creatine, make sure that your creatine is fully mixed. You don't want to be drinking gritty creatine at the bottom.
5:06 Exactly. The key is to mix the petroleum.
[video] 5:11 You want enough water to mix five grams of creatine. You're going to need at least 300 mLs or around 10 and a half, 11 ounces.
5:19 To be fair, I haven't looked up the lineage. I guess that's what it is. Creatine. I'll do it right now, actually. I found it on Amazon. Under the ingredients, it says creatine monohydrate. That's petroleum. Here it says no artificial ingredients.
5:39 What does artificial mean to Paul, then, I wonder? And at the bottom here, it says, our creatine contains no artificial sweeteners, flavors, colors, and so on, but the whole powder is artificial.
6:00 This is pretty bad. This really goes against a lot of what he says. he should really not be selling this. You cannot talk about health and then sell a powder made out of petroleum where you use all kinds of strong acids, acetone, hydrochloric acid and so on to create it. This has nothing to do with health.
[video] 6:30 And if the water is a warmer temperature, it will mix better. Most people have heard of creatine, but here's my quick creatine optimization protocol. Five grams of creatine monohydrate daily from a third-party trusted source, fully mix it in water.
6:45 From a third-party trusted source? It's made in laboratories. Is it a trusted laboratory?
[video] 6:56 make sure there's no gritty creatine at the bottom that's what causes bloating if you want your creatine to be better absorbed you want to take it with carbohydrates with 50 grams of honey or some fruit or some fruit juice and the last thing there is some evidence that shows that if you take creatine after a workout that might improve its effectiveness slightly it's not a big deal in this case i'm going to take my creatine before i surf i'm not using this post workout but if you want to optimize that's the fourth thing with creatine make sure or at least try see if creatine after your workout improves it never dry scoop creatine not a good thing for your gut and bloating that's the worst way to do it so what's in the smoothie you got raw milk frozen wild organic blueberries grass-fed whey protein some organs raw organic glyphosate free honey I'm gonna put a pinch not actual organs but the dry supplements the pills of sea salt in the smoothie and that's what I do so I mix it all up in the blender I've got the stainless steel attachment
7:48 Yes, as I said, the salt is the reason his skin looks so dry because it really dries out the body.
[video] 7:55 Vitamix to minimize plastics. And that is what I drink pre-surf. And you might look at this and say, man, Paul, there's a lot of products there that you sell. Yeah, that's right. That's why I built these products because I actually use them every day. I wanted to get good quality organs because it's hard to get testicle and liver sometimes. So I've got hard and soil whole package. There was such a problem with whey protein on the market. They were all contaminated, full of artificial sweeteners. artificial flavors, things that I didn't want in a whey protein. They were full of lecithin and binders and gums. I didn't want any of that stuff. So really proud of this one that we made hard in soil, the grass fed whey protein. It's definitely the highest.
8:26 It doesn't make any sense because whey is a waste product anyway. And the way they create these powders is also harmful.
[video] 8:35 quality whey protein we could find anywhere. And then when it comes to honey, I don't want extra pesticides in my honey. So I'm proud of our glyphosate-free raw honey at Lineage.
8:44 So yeah, of course I use the products that we sell because that's- That's maybe the only good product that he sells.
[video] 8:51 That's why we built them. So that's my smoothie and then it's off to surf. You can probably see here that as I'm putting stuff in the smoothie, there is a very noticeable large stainless steel coffee machine in the background. It's not my coffee machine. Although if you're gonna drink coffee, the Lineage Regen Roast is hands down the best I've ever seen. It's organic, it's regenerative, it's shade grown, whatever. This coffee machine is actually my girlfriend's because she drinks coffee. So don't think I'm cheating and not telling you guys about my coffee. Nope, that's not mine, that's hers.
9:23 This may look like a lot of fruit, but I'm- He just mixed some powders. The food that you eat should be alive, ideally. It should be wet, slimy, the way raw food is.
[video] 9:38 I get back from surfing. I've been out there for a few hours. Most of the time, the second breakfast is eaten around 10 a.m. for me. So I've been up for a while. I usually get up around 5 or 5.30. I get out to surf by 6, 6.30. I'm in the water for a couple hours. So I'm getting the calories in. And no, I don't worry about fructose or fruit causing diabetes. There's absolutely no evidence for that. In fact, there's evidence to the contrary. All sorts of fruits and fruit juices improve endothelial function, decrease oxidative stress in the human body, improve DNA repair. So I think fruit is a healthy thing when it's eaten in proportion.
10:04 improves DNA repair. Is that what he said? He's funny. He still believes all of the lies, just reads some papers online and then absorbs the information.
[video] 10:18 Definitely thinking about organic cantaloupe glyphosate is a huge problem with the pesticide. Over $11 billion in lawsuits against Bayer Monsanto, the makers of Roundup glyphosate that are alleging that glyphosate is connected with cancer. So I'm looking for organic food. Obviously, I would urge you guys to do the same. What you invest in your food, I think, is the biggest return on investment you can get out of anything. Buying higher quality food is going to cost you more, but you're supporting farmers. to make higher quality things that support you and your family and your health long term. Not being healthy is the worst thing in the world. What's the point of having more money if you're not healthy enough to enjoy it? Also carbohydrates. I've got yucca. I've been experimenting with different...
10:49 I like that he said that. That's what I always say. Because all of these millionaires, even billionaires, there's a few of them, make videos online and they eat toast. for breakfast, which costs a few cents. Totally makes no sense. Makes no sense whatsoever.
[video] 11:11 Carbohydrate sources. So at the beginning of this video, I told you there were a couple of things in the video that were new for me. One of the things I've been experimenting with recently are starches. And a lot of them didn't work for me. The whole reason I got started on this health journey.
11:23 That is really strange because starches are inedible in their raw form. Some of them you can eat raw, but... I don't think that they are enjoyable. I've never tried it. It doesn't seem like people enjoy eating them raw. And the reason that you need to cook them is because they are not natural for you as a human being in the sense that you're not supposed to eat them.
[video] 11:49 or any of those with eczema and asthma were problematic for me. And doing a carnivore diet originally helped reverse a lot of those things. Being keto on a carnivore diet didn't work for my body. I had electrolyte insufficiency and felt generally horrible. In the beginning, it was great. Then it went downhill at the end. So I feel better with carbohydrates. For most of the last four and a half years, I've eaten exclusively fruit for carbohydrates, fruit and squash. Squash is technically a fruit. There's a lot of bio-individuality in who we are as humans. We don't all react the same way to certain foods. I tend to have a very sensitive immune system, which means that I don't react well to all foods. I know I don't do well with tomatoes, for instance, which are a fruit because they're a nightshade. White rice. I don't feel good about white rice. It makes me feel kind of foggy, a little bit bloated. And when I look at the health profile of rice, it's very hard to eliminate the arsenic, the heavy metals in rice. So then I've landed on yucca, which is easy to get here in Costa Rica. If you've never seen this root, it looks like a big brown root. Maybe it looks like a big poo. You have to prepare it in a certain way. You can't just eat yucca raw because it does have cyanide and cyanide-containing compounds in the skin.
12:40 That's what I meant. There will always be some kind of toxins... And the fiber is also very hard on your gut. It's just not designed for human beings. It's as simple as that. And if you think about cooking a food before you eat your meal, then you can already know that you're going to eat something that isn't actually natural for your body.
[video] 13:06 Take this yucca, I had to cut the yucca up, I had to peel the yucca, I have to boil the yucca, and then I have to pull out, there's a little spine in the middle of the yucca, a little woody spine that I have to pull out. It's a lot of work to get to this.
13:18 Come on, why all of the work? Why not just eat what you can eat raw?
[video] 13:22 Ooh, the steak was well done. Really overcooked.
[video] 13:53 Maybe there are some of you watching who do have food sensitivities and will find value in that. So I don't think all, even single ingredient foods work for all people. Figure out what works for you on the carbohydrate side. Maybe it's just fruit and squash. Maybe you can do potatoes. Maybe cassava is better. Maybe sweet potatoes work for you. Maybe you're not as sensitive as I am to oxalates. I've got about five and a half ounces, maybe six ounces of a grass-fed skirt steak here. And I cooked it on the grill. I've got some sea salt on there. When it comes to salt, I think a lot about salt. We did a whole collaboration with the ABNRF, the Animal-Based Nutrition Research Foundation separately, where we tested heavy metals in many salts. And we were surprised to find that a lot of common popular salts, especially popular salts in health communities, had significant amounts of heavy metals. I don't have any affiliation with Diamond Kosher or Maldon, but these salts both tested to have no significant heavy metals. So Diamond Kosher is cheap, and I can get it easily. I bring big boxes to Costa Rica, so that's what's on there is a Diamond Kosher salt. I'm thinking about toxins in my food and trying to eliminate those as much as possible. This may not look like the most visually appealing breakfast, but man, this is a very nutrient-rich breakfast, and I'm trying to have high nutrients, low toxins, and high digestibility. Now it's time to eat my second breakfast, and then we'll get on with the day, and next will be a little mid-afternoon snack. And I'm continuing to add up the macros for everything. If you stick around...
14:49 so-called high digestibility should always be something that you prioritize because that means that what you're eating is natural for your body and some of what he eats is simply not natural for him
[video] 15:05 Around to the end of the video, I'll show you the macros and the micronutrient breakdown for my entire day. So what do I have in the afternoon commonly? I've got something like raw Greek yogurt, and I put in some banana. I've got a duck egg yolk in there. You think it's gross, but it's actually amazing. And I put a little bit of the lineage honey.
15:21 I like to hear that, a duck egg, raw. Nice, nice.
[video] 15:26 Surfing and working out is crazy. It will age you a lot. If he would only surf
15:48 It would be somewhat understandable. At least surfing is probably somewhat, in some way, enjoyable, maybe, now and then. I've never done it. But working out is obviously never enjoyable in any way.
[video] 16:02 in the gym i'm gonna go ahead and eat this i'm gonna get a little quick workout in the gym i might get a little work done and then i'm gonna come back and show you guys what i eat for dinner okay it's right about 5 p.m i go to sleep really early in costa rica so i'd like to eat at least two to three hours before i go to sleep the asparagus is funny to see that in a paul saladino video so now it's dinner time i'm gonna finish eating by around 5 30 and yes i will probably be in bed by 8 30 tonight because i get up around 5 00 a.m or 5 30 to go surf so what do i have here for dinner i've got some grass-fed ground beef from the same local whoa is that salt that is crazy much salt
[video] 16:42 farm steak is amazing but eating steak every day even I don't want to do that I want to get some mix it up and it's nice to have something that's a cheaper option so we got grass-fed ground beef here I've got a little bit of the same lineage honey on it and I've got some salt meat is an incredible source of nutrients guys and I I want to say something here I believe that red meat it's great to buy grass-fed meat but when you cook it so much
17:05 Why then even bother? Because it's largely destroyed.
[video] 17:10 Grass-fed, rooted animals, cows, bison, elk, antelope, deer, these are the single best source, the cleanest source of protein for humans on the planet today, hands down, period T, end of story, full stop. One of the reasons I like whey protein is it's very high in an amino acid called leucine. I think that a lot of people, men, but especially women, are leaving muscle growth, leanness, higher metabolism, ease of weight loss on the table by not getting enough leucine throughout the day. What am I talking about? If you hit the leucine threshold, for most people it's about 2.5 grams of leucine. In a meal, you stimulate muscle protein synthesis. Even without lifting weights, you can stimulate muscle protein synthesis by getting enough leucine, by eclipsing the leucine threshold.
17:47 Conversely, I think there's a big- This is just a belief. Nothing that he said can be proven. And even more importantly, you cannot actually gain muscle. Not really, because all that you can do is maintain it. You can go to a gym or do your workouts outside, calisthenics, and then you can try to adapt your body to the stress of pushing or pulling metal in a gym, or if you're outside, then you will be pulling yourself up on a bar, for example, and your body will try to adapt to it. And once you stop, your body will go back to its natural state, more or less. That's why you're never actually gaining muscle. If you would gain it, then it would stay for life. Working out is all about maintaining muscle, never about gaining.
[video] 18:42 Problem for a lot of people, men and women, that a lot of us are not eclipsing the leucine threshold on a daily basis and a single meal. At multiple meals a day, I'm thinking about stacking my protein throughout the day so that I'm getting 2.5 grams of leucine. 30 grams of whey protein gives you 2.5 grams of leucine. As you'll see with my breakfast, I'm going to have enough protein to stimulate muscle protein synthesis. And at dinner, I'll have enough protein, enough leucine containing animal proteins to simulate muscle protein synthesis. So if you want to have an easier time losing weight, gaining muscle, or keeping muscle, make sure you're eclipsing the leucine threshold multiple times a day. My mother is 75 years old, right? How many times a day does my mother get 2.5 grams of leucine in a meal? Very rarely. So ladies, I'm talking to you. If you want leanness, if you want some musculature, you won't look like a bodybuilder, if you want ease of weight loss, make sure you're getting at least one meal a day where you're getting enough animal protein, 30 to 40 to 50 grams of animal protein, or whey protein, which is very high in leucine, to eclipse the leucine threshold to stimulate muscle protein synthesis. If you're missing that, you're missing a big piece of it.
19:31 He's really lost in his own imagination and thoughts. As I said, nothing that he said can be proven.
[video] 19:40 Got a little bit of liver here. I love eating some organs. You don't have to eat a ton. The hard and soil whole package I had with breakfast helps.
19:48 I was going to say that it's nice to hear that, but at the same time, he says that you don't need to eat a ton of organs. But if you want to be optimally really healthy... than you do, you should be focusing on organs in the first place.
[video] 20:06 I got a little bit of raw liver, it's like an ounce. I'll do it a few nights a week to get the extra organ multivitamin. Got a glass of raw milk from a local farm. I've been to the farm that makes this raw milk. I've seen the cows, I've seen the goats, and I know that it's all clean, which is amazing.
20:20 It's a very small amount of liver. It's better than nothing, but It's almost kind of nothing.
[video] 20:29 Here I've got some yucca. I'm doing it twice a day now because I feel better with more calories. I've got some grass-fed butter on it. I've got some watermelon.
20:37 He's obviously trying out all of this new stuff, such as asparagus and the root vegetable, because he's missing something. And it's right there. It's the organs, the liver. If he would eat tons of liver, heart, brain, testicles, spleen, eyes... then he would feel really good, a lot better. And he would also look a lot better if he would stop working out so much.
[video] 21:07 Here for some fruit at dinner, which is going to be refreshing at the end of a hot day in Costa Rica.
21:12 And you have these green sticks there, but they are cooked because you don't want to eat them in their natural state. But then you still go on and show it to us as if it's a good part of your diet. Whereas in reality, it's just clear that you are kind of lost. and that you don't know what you're supposed to eat. But the answer is right in front of you. Don't you get it? Humans in nature hunt down animals and they eat your organs first. They eat a lot of organs. They don't look for some vegetables, which they can then prepare for hours just to eat a little bit. That's famine food. That's what you may do when you are starving, but you wouldn't do that when you have food. You have a huge house. You are pretty wealthy. You could be eating the best organs on earth.
[video] 22:07 I got some asparagus. Yeah, asparagus. I bet you guys didn't expect to see anything green on my plate. But like I said earlier in the video, I've been experimenting with a few new...
22:16 It just goes against your intuition to eat green food. That's why.
[video] 22:20 ...foods. And I feel pretty decent with asparagus. It's nice to get some variety, different flavors and...
22:26 Pretty decent doesn't sound good. It just sounds like you can maybe somewhat tolerate it. But we shouldn't try to tolerate the food that we eat. We should enjoy it. It should make us feel good. It should give us energy, life force.
[video] 22:42 And so I'm open to incorporating a few vegetables, I guess technically you got as a vegetable as well, into my diet as long as I feel good with them. This is what I've got for dinner tonight. So at the beginning of this video, I promised you that at the end of this day of eating, I would show you my macros, my calories, and my micronutrients. Let's get into the calories, the macros, and micronutrients. I got 3177 calories, so I'm not gaining weight. I stay right around 10% body fat, so clearly I'm burning that. Now, I do have a lot of activity, but I also think that the goal here is to be metabolically healthy.
23:13 As I said before, food obviously doesn't have calories. Calories are simply an idea that some people thought of. It's not even that long ago that they did that. And they simply tried to burn food to see how many calories the food has, which they cannot actually observe. It's nothing factual or scientific. They simply imagined that, and then they told us that protein, carbs, and all of that, which is a whole different topic, has four calories, for example, per gram. And then people now believe that and they use these apps and look at these symbols as if it means something. It means nothing.
24:07 This is all anti-scientific. He should just stick to science. This is all.
24:16 Pointless to talk about.
[video] 24:18 Point out in more detail in the future, chronometer's not good at estimating vitamin E or vitamin K, but everything else is green here in the micronutrients of the day, which you would expect since I'm eating single ingredient foods and foods with label that your great grandmother would recognize all the ingredients. That's what food for humans is. So that's my calorie, macronutrient, and micronutrient breakdown of what I eat in a day. And I took you guys through everything I did this day. I hope that helps. The goal of this video is not to give you a blueprint to copy and paste. I don't think everyone needs to eat like me. But the goal is to help you think about the first principles that I use to determine what I'm going to eat in a day. Right now, I feel really good in my life. My autoimmune symptoms are basically non-existent. My sleep is good. My libido is good. My workouts are good. I feel good throughout the day. I have good mental clarity throughout the day. I'm productive. So I'm in a good place. That's what I want for all of you.
24:59 You can clearly tell that Paul is still trying to figure things out, which is great, but that's the reason that he eats vegetables now. He's looking for something new because he doesn't feel optimally healthy. Would a human being who feels happy and healthy look for something new, as if there's something missing in his life or specifically in his so-called diet? No, because a human being who feels perfectly happy and healthy would be eating what you're naturally supposed to. that kind of a human being would be listening to his or her intuition and then they wouldn't need anything else because a human being who follows nature feels fulfilled.
25:49 Your digestion will be perfect, your mood, you will be full of energy, you will feel as good as you possibly can and that's what you will achieve when you eat what you're naturally supposed to. If you don't eat what you're supposed to, then you will always have some kind of health issues. The truth was right in front of Paul. It was the little piece of liver that was in front of him. He ate a tiny piece and 99% of his diet is still
26:27 something that he eats because of the research that he did, he read about it. You're supposed to eat this for that. It's all based on what he imagines. But in reality, We already know what we are supposed to eat naturally, scientifically. But instead of science, he still talks about what he read. If he would actually stick to science and nature, then he would right away know what we are supposed to eat instead of believing what you are supposed to eat. Thanks for watching.
