0:00 hey today i'm going to be reviewing a video called i ate school lunch from every country the reason i chose this topic is because the food you eat at school accounts for one third of all the food you consume from monday to friday meaning that it will have a noticeable impact on your health and development

[video] 0:24 In this video, I'm trying the most popular school lunches in the world. And while some were delicious, I was one of the best bites I've ever had in my life. Others were not so good. I can't tell what looks worse, us or the food. And we're starting in North America with the United States, where the typical school lunch is dino nuggets, mashed potatoes.

0:43 Dino nuggets. What is that? Chicken coated with grain sludge. And of course, it's all fried in seed oils. Do they even use real chicken nowadays? It could also be fake meat. If it's real chicken, then they very likely use fillers such as soy or some other kind of seeds, mashed potatoes, whatever.

1:42 Yes, but you shouldn't be able to turn your food into some kind of shapes. Technically, it would be possible. but real natural foods are slimy, juicy. Imagine turning raw meat or some kind of fruits into a dino. It would be hard.

In fact, school lunch in the US is so unhealthy that a slice of pizza counts as your serving of vegetables because of the tomato sauce. That's really bad.

I think it's fair to say Canada school lunch gets a C tier. C for Canada. And that brings us to Mexico, where we'll have a ham and cheese torta, Joaquin cucumbers, carrot sticks.

They love tajin and chamoy so much in Mexico that kids will actually have key chains on their backpacks like this. If you want a little more tajin on your cucumber, just pop it open. Don't mind if I do. That's okay, that's gonna be excessive here. Ooh, que rico. A torta is just a Mexican sandwich, essentially. You can put a variety of different things inside it, but as you can see with this one, we've got all sorts of fresh fruits, vegetables, quick, simple, on the go.

What? Alright, where do I begin? Maybe a little bit of the beans and rice. Looks like there's some bacon in there. Wow. This rice has been cooked to perfection in... Just looks like prison food.

8:14 Actually, of course, school is a prison for children. By definition, you are forced to go there. They will threaten you if you don't go. And in many places there's a big fence around the school and you're not allowed to leave. Where I grew up in Latvia, it was different. There was one guy who came to school twice in the year. One semester and then the other semester, that's it.

It's fruity, but at the same time, it's naturally really creamy. It's really good. And we're moving on to Europe, where we'll start in France to eat a multi-course school lunch that includes a salad, some roast chicken and veggies.

9:25 Salad. Just some indigestible plants. Chicken, okay. It's also not covered in grain sludge, but it's probably fried or cooked in seed oils.

[video] 10:24 Really fresh. 10 times healthier than any school lunch I've ever had in America. And the rules, by the way, for school lunch in France are very strict. No soda, no candy, no vending machines on campus at all. All the food is cooked from scratch by chefs and no more than four times a month can you have any fried food. That is impressive. The second course is roast chicken with vegetables. It's simple.

11:56 Okay, the French meal was the best one so far. I wouldn't even rank it in the F tier. Maybe D. I still would never give anything like this to my children, but... It's just that when you compare it to what they feed people in North and South America, it just seems better.

Your development all depends on the food that you eat while you're growing and developing. If you will have any of these issues, then It's because of the food that you ate and part of it is the food that you eat at school. Rice. Chips, as they say. Last but not least, I'll put some of those Heinz baked beans over the top. What the fuck is that supposed to be? Grain sludge with some baked seeds and chips. Throwed in seed oil in it. Is that supposed to be food? Wow, man.

I'm feeling optimistic. The schnitzel does look pretty good. I don't know, Max. To be honest, it's a little dry. It's dry with no seasoning. Let me help you out with that, Nick. If there's anything that can help German school lunch, it is Osmo. I'm not just saying this because I like Osmo. 10 times better. Let's try some peas. Here comes the airplane. Tastes absolutely horrible. This is mean to feed kids this. I know we're not through every country yet, but this might be the most boring school lunch in the world. It's gotta go F tier. Couldn't agree more. We're moving on to Russia to have chicken cutlet, beet salad, beet soup, and tea. In some Russian towns, grandmothers come to serve the food, so I brought in a Russian grandmother to serve this one for us.

19:41 Thankfully the grandmothers at home still feed their grandchildren liver. They put liver in all kinds of foods. Even if it's between grain sludge. That's why a lot of models come from Russia. They come from places where people still eat somewhat good food.

20:33 Actually, I should tell you what they served in my school, seeing as I grew up in a post-Soviet Union country. It was probably very similar to what was fed to kids in Russia back in the 90s. We had bread with every meal. I can't think of one meal that didn't have bread. Maybe if they served something sweet, but I wouldn't know what to call that thing in English. It was... just some kind of slime with pasteurized milk around it. That was the only thing that I sometimes ate at school. But over 95% of the time, I didn't touch anything there. It was actually truly disgusting. It was the cheapest slave famine food that you could imagine.

You couldn't even recognize the so-called food anymore. You wouldn't even be able to tell that it's meat. Basically, it was just gray and dead. And it was always all covered in these super disgusting sauces. Just thinking about it, I almost want to vomit. And what else did we have? Maybe I just kind of suppressed it. I just don't want to even remember it. I remember that they also served some kind of fish soups. Oh, soups. Soups were a big thing. Always those fucking soups. God damn it, man. It was fucked up.

I would say the food here was a bit basic, but the experience was incredible. So we'll go with a nice even C tier. And now with Europe done, we'll move on to Africa, where we'll start in Morocco with a vegetable couscous, tomato cucumber salad, fresh...

You get some fiber out of the seeds, the indigestible part, and that's good for you, of course. And other than that, nobody even has an idea argument as to why we should consume that figs and mint tea just got one thought where's the meat and they always cover up the taste oh he said where's the meat at least he understands that children should be eating meat not everything needs meat maximus crazy flavor profile unreal a depth of flavor you wouldn't expect is he not This is not even food. It still looks kind of worse than what they feed children in Finland.

So good. So flavorful. It's the perfect amount of spice. Watch when I break this chicken, too. It is fall apart tender. Go ahead. Amazing. Insanity. It's a little bit like an Indian curried chicken. This chicken, by the way, is so popular in West Africa that kids call it party chicken because it's served at parties. People love it that much. And speaking of parties, a lot of schools actually have a dance party with music during lunchtime, so we're going to do exactly that.

This whole video is really alarming. i already expected all of this except for what i saw in finland uh i gotta say i wasn't ready for that in ethiopia for kids to eat off the same somebody from finland please comment and tell me that they made a mistake tray so what we can do is just tear the injera smells really good it's almost like sourdough i almost don't want to eat it i just want to play with it what we do here is we use our right hand to dip it into the stew soak up some of the juice in there and then you eat them

It's almost like a little bit grainy, but then there's a bit of a sweet corn flavor. The great thing is you can wash it down with some serious juice. It's a really popular South African brand. Almost like a pineapple flavor. Bologna sandwich. We would call it bologna. They call it bologna.

It would be interesting to show what they eat in private schools, fancier schools. I'm sure that the food is at least somewhat better. Maybe you can comment about it if you went to such a school. Kids will bring their own pickled vegetables that their parents made, and everyone likes to trade with each other to see what other people's pickles taste like. I smell your pickle. Oh, mine smell way better than yours. I'm not trading with you. In India, lunch is also most commonly eaten on a rug on the classroom floor, so here we are. Let's dig in. I'm just gonna grab some of this and get some potato in there. Strong lack of flexibility right now. I can't even get to the food. Definitely delicious. I gotta crank my oblique. One second.

[video] 34:14 Notice when you look at this lunch. Fish bones. In Vietnam, they teach the kids from a young age to look out for fish bones and fish skin. So you'll notice there are fish bones here. There's a fish head right here. And there's even a whole shrimp with the head on. I kind of wish I got this learning lesson when I was little. Ooh. I love the flavor in the soup. You can tell they use real fish bones to make this. Just has this incredible depth.

34:31 I'm going to go for some of that beef stir- It actually wouldn't be that bad. If they wouldn't serve soy milk at the schools. You really can't go wrong with the beef stir-fry.

34:51 That I do not like. Continuing on with China, we're having chicken thighs, boiled veggies, egg drops. Again, chicken. It's always the same. Some chicken, indigestible plants, and seeds. But at least they do get some meat. And some of the places they served vegetarian meals. Almost vegan, really. Soup, rice, and soy milk.

Wow, the egg drop soup is packed with flavor. It's like the best chicken thigh I've ever had in my life. It's very good. How does it taste like that? If I was at school lunch in China and I was allowed to get seconds, you bet I'd be running up and getting as much of this chicken as I possibly could. At first, by looking at this, I didn't think it was gonna be quite as good, Max, and this is so far very, very good. There's only one thing left we have to try. I'm not a big soy milk fan. I'll preface it with that. Milk should come from cows.

[video] 36:04 That's the worst drink we've had all day. I wish there was just water. I would take anything at this point over that. China school lunch, we're going with B tier. Where we'll try the classic Australian school lunch of sausage rolls, shapes chips, kiwi slices.

[video] 36:22 And a breakfast drink. Since Australian students eat outside, we're going to do the same, but not before putting on our magpie defense helmets. What is this? When eating outside, these birds called magpies will actually dive bomb and attack your head. So this is a real thing that some people will do to make sure their head doesn't get attacked while they're eating lunch. You look ridiculous. How do I look? Let's go. First priority, look out for the magpies. Second priority, eat lunch. Sausage roll? Sure. Very buttery and flaky. Super unhealthy, I think. Although you bet I'm washing that down with some fresh cold kiwi. And then these shapes chips. Supposedly it's a very popular snack. I shipped a bunch of different flavors straight from Australia. I mean, there are shapes. Is that? Whoa. It tastes like if you were to put the ramen seasoning packet on a cracker. Very umami. These are the best part of the whole tray. This drink here, very famous breakfast shake in Australia. Supposed to be sort of a thick chocolatey drink. Kind of hate it.

37:07 It's very interesting how they serve these chocolatey drinks everywhere. And then, as I said, later on in life, you will drink coffee because you are addicted to the stimulants, the effects of the poisons.

37:42 The Finnish food was the worst. The Indian food was also very bad. I wouldn't be surprised if soon we will see worms and all kinds of insects on the children's plates. I actually expect that to happen. You need to understand that if you as parents allow your children to eat all of these fake foods while they are growing and developing, then their bodies will be underdeveloped. And you will also see all kinds of malformations. And that's because the children need to be eating natural foods while growing and developing. You cannot expect to have a natural result when it comes to anything in life if you don't actually follow nature. It's impossible.

38:41 That's why you should expect to get braces for the children, most likely also glasses because their eye sockets won't develop the way they should. They will be mouth breathing and snoring.

39:00 All of this happens because people nowadays try to go against nature. They feed their children indigestible plants, seeds, fake foods, fried and seed oils. There's simply no way around nature.
