0:00 Hi everyone, as requested I'm going to review the video called The Vegan Gut Killer by The Healthy Life.

[video] 0:12 So you tried everything, you eat right and you're still getting gas and bloating and indigestion and digestive issues and you think surely it must be because you're vegan and going back to eating meat might solve all the problems.

0:23 Yes, exactly, that's how it would be.

0:33 Yes, your stomach acid could be too weak. That wouldn't necessarily cause bloating. What would actually cause bloating is fiber, seeing as that's actually indigestible. No human being on Earth can digest fiber. No animal on Earth can digest fiber with its stomach acid or any digestive juices. But the microbes in their gut could digest it partly, which is why they can create saturated fat out of fiber. That's what cows do. That's why they have four chambers in their stomach. Or gorillas, which have a huge large intestine, relatively. Whereas us humans have a very small colon, large intestine. That's why we can't deal with fiber.

[video] 1:17 Because you're eating bread and sugar and lots of sweet stuff like orange juice and, you know...

1:22 Bread, sugar, that's what vegan diets are based on. They are based on carbohydrates. Even he himself would have to admit that he eats mostly carbohydrates, which are literally sugar. Carbohydrates are sugar. You're eating a high sugar diet.

[video] 1:36 The typical stuff that people do, they're into cereal, cookies, crackers, cakes, and all that stuff. Or you have something else, and that is in your gut. Well, your gut is where a lot of the gas gets created by the bacteria, the gut probiotics in your gut. Now, the gut probiotics that you have the gut probiotics you created by the foods you've been eating for the last 30-40 years. So if you've been eating junk food and meat and sugar and all that kind of stuff...

2:01 Junk food, meat and sugar. It's as if it's the same. Junk food is like meat, which is what humans eat in nature. There's no junk food in nature. And then sugar also. Of course he means extracted sugar, I get that. But you still have to realize that carbohydrates are sugar and vegan diets are based on sugar. You can't simply imply that sugar is bad, but then not say that vegans eat a sugar-based diet.

[video] 2:23 Then you have gut probiotics that feed on that type of food. A lot of it's yeast, which then turns into fungus and gets into your body, but that's a whole other issue. But the gut probiotics that...

2:32 The fungi are also important in your gut.

[video] 2:35 You have, let's say you eat a lot of meat, you eat a lot of cheese, you eat a lot of dairy, well then you're going to have gut probiotics that feed off of meat and dairy and cheese.

2:46 Yes, that's what we consume in nature. The meat, not the dairy. Of course, people did start farming eventually and consume more and more dairy, but the essence of what we are supposed to consume is meat. Of course, you do get breast milk as a baby, but you would stop that after a maximum of a few years.

[video] 3:04 What was funny about that?

[video] 3:14 Cellulose to be broken down, which we cannot do, as I explained, we don't have the colon, the microbes for that. You can't change your body just because you start eating.

3:36 more greens. The greens in the background, for example, does that look like human food to you? It's been scientifically proven that when we see green plants, our appetite is suppressed. That alone already proves that we are naturally supposed to eat meat, and it's normal for our gut to be used to meat. Raw meat, of course, not cooked meat.

3:58 Actually, it should also be mentioned that cooked meat is not red anymore. It may be red on the inside if you cook a steak rare, medium rare, but it's not going to be red on the outside, which already confuses our senses. It's not red, so it doesn't necessarily create appetite. Of course, when you smell it and cut it open, then you will have appetite for it, but purely from looking at it, it's not the same as looking at raw meat.

[video] 4:26 Even if that was true, you cannot change the size of your intestines. We still don't have a large intestine to ferment these plants.

[video] 4:47 add ones what they want. And the second thing is to only put stuff in there that you should have. And now you're going to go through a transition period where you got gas and bloating and all that. But after a while, that will create its own new gut probiotics. It takes a while to get rid of the old and usher in the new. And people don't have the patience for that. They think, oh, after a month or two or three or half a year, they're going to be all new people. It doesn't work that way. It takes a while to get all that stuff switched out. And if you cheat, and most people do, they have their cravings and their habits, and then they go back to just nibbling on a few of the things that they used to love. You're basically sending food down to the one.

5:21 Is he admitting that most vegans cheat?

[video] 5:23 that you're trying to get rid of, and they get stronger, and then they don't go away, and then you're back to square one again. You have to starve the bad guys and feed only the good guys, and that is a transition. So you've got to be patient. Now, I know a number of people are going to say, oh, but I've been eating nothing but whole food, plant-based diet for years, and I still have gas and bloating and digestive issues. Okay, well, like I said, most people cheat. They have a sweet tooth. They have to have mangoes and orange juice, and it's all fruit and sweet stuff. They have desserts, and they always...

5:49 Why would mangoes and orange juice be bad? I sometimes eat mangoes and orange juice. I don't have any bloating from it. I mostly eat meat and then also some fruit. It's just this absolute denial that this guy is in. If you still have problems after years on a vegan diet, then it's the vegan diet. Then it's the fiber which your body can't break down.

[video] 6:10 Please choose the comfort foods and not the bitter foods. Bitter foods are what create good digestion.

6:16 What?

6:20 Bitter foods are toxic foods. If a food is bitter, you spit it out. It's literally your senses telling you to spit it out because it's a toxin that you're tasting. In the case of plants, it's actually antibiotics. It's actually what's going to destroy your gut. Oh my God.

[video] 6:41 If you have stomach issues, chances are you've been eating a lot of sweet foods and not enough bitter foods, and most people don't eat even bitter foods at all.

6:49 Yeah, most people are not that stupid. Most people are freaking stupid, but when it comes to tasting something bitter, they do spit it out. That they still at least understand.

[video] 7:02 Bitter is what helps your digestion.

7:05 What? Oh my god. Yeah, go on, come on. I can't wait.

[video] 7:10 I know it's not fun, but that's...

7:12 I know it's not fun. Yeah, you even admit it.

[video] 7:15 ...part of it also. But anyway, let's say you have been eating... Let's say there's a few of you that have been eating nothing but whole food, plant-based...

7:27 He laughs for no reason in between the sentences. It's as if he has some mental issues, which is no surprise. if he's actually on a proper vegan diet, seeing as he's then not consuming any saturated fat and cholesterol, which the brain is made out of. A lot of people believe that he looks good, seeing as he's 60 years old or around there. But when you really look at him, he clearly is wearing makeup. I'm not trying to accuse him of anything, but for me it's absolutely obvious. The hair is always over his forehead. The hair is also obviously dyed, and I'm not even sure really what's going on with the hair. Yeah, he just looks... Like there's been stuff done to him and his girlfriend or wife has had a lot of plastic surgery. So to assume that he hasn't had anything done to him is very unlikely.

[video] 8:19 Even bitter foods to a certain degree, you know, cookies, crackers, cakes, pies, no fruit juices, no heavy sugary stuff, no refined foods, no bad oils, no, you know, all this. Let's say you've been doing everything right and you still got gas and bloating and indigestion. Then I ask you one question. When was the last time you had antibiotics?

8:38 Did you- Wait, wait. What? What is he about to say? He's not gonna say that you should consume antibiotics, that would make no sense. He did actually by saying that you should eat bitter foods.

[video] 8:48 by any chance have an infection or something where you had to go get antibiotics.

8:54 Okay, he's saying that you may not realize that the reason you still have gut problems is because you had antibiotics because of some infection you had and you didn't make the connection. That would, of course, make it worse. But it's really funny that he doesn't realize that by recommending bitter foods, he's recommending antibiotics.

[video] 9:10 Did you have tooth work done? Did you have to go to the doctor for some reason? And most people have, at some point within the last few... No, man, this is denial, come on.

9:22 Some people are vegan for years and they're still completely bloated, they actually have gut pain, IBS, it just doesn't go away. You can't simply make this video and say that these people probably went to the dentist and had antibiotics without realizing it and that's the reason. And now you gotta do veganism for five more years to get your gut used to these man-made plants which don't even exist in nature. You're not even recommending eating anything that exists in nature. It's not our natural so-called diet.

[video] 9:55 Antibiotics can stay in you for years? Where's the proof for that?

[video] 10:16 Some people don't get the good probiotics back for five years or 10 years because of their weaknesses and their little cheat things. But antibiotics kill probiotics. And the main food source for probiotics is fiber.

10:32 He's funny. He's a good comedian. Unintentional, I guess, but still. Probiotics from fiber. Oh my god, that's funny. You could call it prebiotics, seeing as your gut is supposed to feed on the fiber, which is then supposed to create probiotics, as in beneficial microbes, in your gut. That, of course, doesn't actually happen. There's zero proof for that, but that's the theory. You could at least... say that, it would make some kind of sense, but of course in reality the actual probiotics that you can consume are from animal foods, fermented animal foods, especially fermented meat, eggs, even dairy, that's what you need.

[video] 11:12 ... fiber, because there is no fiber in meat or animal products, so you can only get...

11:18 Yeah, and that's good. That's why people who only eat animal products don't have any gut issues. Show me somebody who has any kind of gut issues by eating only meat, for example. You will never find them. Show me somebody who has IBS on a carnivore diet. Doesn't exist.

[video] 11:37 Fiber from plants, and it's best that they are raw because when you cook fiber, it breaks down into simple sugar sometimes, and now it's easier for you to get nutrients out of it, but a lot of that food is not for you. It's for the gut probiotics. That's what I'm saying. Yes, your body cannot break down all the fiber. It's not supposed to because it's not your job to do that. The job of breaking down the fiber is for the probiotics. They feed on fiber. So some of the stuff you eat goes through the stomach, doesn't get broken down, but that's for a reason. That's for the probiotics to eat. Half the food you eat has to go to the probiotics and feed them, and they want fiber. They want raw plant fiber. That's what they live off of. That's what they thrive off of. Like I said, meat and animal products and dairy does not have any fiber at all. So if you want good probiotics, and probiotics are about 70% of your immune system, that is what you need to be healthy and alive and vibrant and live a long, happy, healthy life. These people that live long, you know, these blue zones, yeah, some of them eat a little bit of meat, but only like 5%.

12:30 Ugh, come on, don't even get me started. The Blue Zones, the Okinawans in Japan, they eat over 90% meat. They cook everything in lard, the few vegetables that they do eat. They eat mostly pork, raw goat meat, raw fish. They eat an animal-based diet. The people in Italy also. Fish has more cholesterol than beef, which is what they consume a lot there. Dairy, goat meat. In California you have the Seventh Day Adventists, the vegans have the shortest lifespan, and the meat eaters have the longest lifespan. Out of them. I could go on and on. Who eats the most meat? The Spanish and the people who live in Hong Kong. Longest living people on earth. Come on, man. You're completely lying.

[video] 13:14 No proof. Absolutely zero proof.

[video] 13:22 The pills are absolute garbage. I will agree with him. Don't take the pills.

[video] 13:46 you can get are created by the food you eat and the food you eat depends on you so this is where you come in and being strong and saying no to the addictive foods because if you eat even cheat a little bit you're feeding the bad probiotics and they get strong again and if you're getting gas and blood and i ask you this also why did you need antibiotics was it because you had to go to the dentist and have a tooth drilled out or removed or something well why is that if you did then you weren't eating right you were eating too much sugar too much carbs and refined foods and wheat and things are baked in an oven that's why people have teeth problems because they weren't eating right they weren't eating

14:13 You know that incredibly many vegans complain about tooth decay. There's been tons of vegans, especially raw vegans, who had to have their teeth pulled out. I even interviewed tons of people who had this.

[video] 14:28 Yeah, because they ate basically only meat. What is he about to say, man? I can't even listen to this guy anymore.

14:35 They were eating directly from nature. That's all that he says. He doesn't even say they were eating...

14:53 mostly plants or plant-based, he just cannot say these kind of lies out loud. So he just says directly from nature. But the plants that you eat as a vegan today don't exist in nature whatsoever. Really, he just admitted that they eat mostly meat. He just is afraid to say it out loud.

[video] 15:13 The right probiotics, the only way you're going to have the right probiotics is eating the right food, and that is plant food from nature. And I don't mean the vegan junk food that people call vegan. That's why vegans are so unhealthy. You know,

15:23 What plant food from nature? Name one plant that you consume that is actually found in nature.

[video] 15:28 And that is why if you do eat a salad, you're gonna get gas and bloating because you don't have the right probiotics in your gut to be able to handle a salad, to be able to handle fresh fruits and vegetables. That's why you need to stop the crap and start...

15:41 It's that or it's because these plants are not found in nature and we shouldn't be consuming them in the first place.

[video] 15:49 Do the right thing to keep going without cheating and watch what happens as your investment starts paying off down the road. So sorry for these lectures on

16:08 If you're telling people to do what they don't want to do, then it's wrong, because you should only do what you actually want to do. If you feel like you're torturing yourself by eating these plants, then it's the wrong thing to do. You actually want to eat meat. If you do that, then you will feel good.

[video] 16:23 Talk about good, happy stuff. And, uh, but what people need to hear is different than what they want to hear. And I, I have to some, a lot of times to be the guy to say, sorry, folks, this is what you got to do. All right. So don't think just going back to eating meat's going to answer all your problems. It won't.

16:41 It really is really.

[video] 16:43 There's no fiber in me. Just remember the main food source for your gut probiotics is fiber and only plants can give you fiber. Okay.

[video] 16:55 He made two main points as to why a vegan may have gut problems.

17:06 Number one is that you may have been cheating, which he assumes most vegans do, which is actually true, but that's not the reason why you have gut problems. The second one is that You may have taken antibiotics because you had an infection. You went to the dentist. Now you destroyed the beneficial microbes in your gut, which is why you need to consume more man-made plants, which don't exist in nature, especially bitter ones, which are then going to repopulate the beneficial microbes in your gut. That's probiotics. In his head, for some reason... I don't know who he listened to, where he got this information from. Obviously, it's as far away from the truth as you could possibly get. In reality, you need to stop eating all fiber and...

17:56 Start consuming ideally raw meat, raw organs, drink blood, or at least eat raw muscle meat from very healthy animals. No medication, perfect natural diet. Don't eat some random raw meat, of course. And maybe some fruit. That's not going to help your gut necessarily, but if you want to overall eat healthy, that's the way to go. What he recommended was funny. It was comedy. That's the only way I can describe it. Thanks for watching.
