0:00 What's up? I was gonna respond to John Venus's latest video, He Quit Veganism, but then I saw that Vegan Gains made a response to him, which is what I'm gonna review now. I do recommend watching John's original video to get the full picture.

[video] 0:14 Hi everyone, so it's no secret that I don't like John Venus. In fact, I can't stand him. I've known for a long time now-

0:23 Okay, you start by saying that you can't stand an animal. How is that vegan?

[video] 0:29 ...that the guy is a manipulative liar who can't be trusted. What do I mean by that? Well, for years now, John has been claiming he was vegan, but about a year and a half ago, he made a video claiming that he no longer wants to identify as vegan. As the title suggests, I am no longer gonna identify myself as a vegan. And then, only a few months after posting that video claiming he no longer wants to identify as vegan, he posted another video admitting that around that same time period he had eggs.

1:04 I made a video about this too, a bit over a year ago.

[video] 1:07 And what happened was that I started eating eggs again, or it was an experiment. So for over a year now, this guy has said that he no longer wants to identify as vegan. He's admitted to eating eggs while this is happening, still claiming that he's following the vegan diet and lifestyle. So I knew exactly... Yes, John is a liar, but so are you. Sure enough... Not to my surprise, this morning, John Venus uploaded a video titled, I am no longer vegan, life update. Well, that's strange wording, life update. Shouldn't you be calling this something like murder update since you've gone back to murdering animals, John? And as you could expect from John, Murder, of course, by definition is killing a human being. You know that. That's one example of how you lie. And in typical fashion, rebut each of his ridiculous nonsense claims and excuses point by point.

[video] 2:05 I'm not here to judge you for doing whatever you feel is right for you, your family, and your community. I'm not here to tell you what is objectively right or what is wrong. And I'm not here to listen to your, you know, arguments and to your opinions either. Isn't it funny how someone who is guilty is preaching about being non-judgmental? Unfortunately for the animals that you are killing, John, they're not able to judge you. They're not able to give you exactly what you deserve.

2:37 This photo is really messed up. This is what Vegan Gains would actually want. He wants humans to be prosecuted and actually killed for eating animals. Yeah, delete.

[video] 2:51 So I'm going to do that for them in their place. I am just here to tell you guys my experiences, my shift in perspective, my new life choice. There you go using that word again, life. Well, no, this isn't about living, is it? This is about murder. So no, this isn't about your life choices. This is about your choice to commit murder.

3:14 It is his life choice and of course he's talking about him having a fuller life, being healthy, him and his family, which is of course what is important for him. Yeah, you can't be alive or actually be happy and feel alive if you don't eat animals as a human being because it's our natural diet.

[video] 3:36 So two years ago, I'm not going to speak for every parent out there, but for me especially, when I became a dad and even before when we were pregnant... It's funny that Vegan Gains even talks about it, seeing as he's incredibly depressed. you know, say for certain that one thing, you know, something like the vegan diet, 100% vegan diet, is going to be optimal for kids. It may be optimal, I'm not saying that it's not, and we look up to so many vegan parents that are doing an amazing job raising vegan kids, and we respect them so much.

4:08 So this is just more... That's one of the problems with ex-vegans like John Venus. They can't fully admit that a vegan diet is unhealthy. They always try to defend it because He just got out of a religion. He's still mentally in there. So it will take him months or maybe even years to fully realize that it was his biggest life mistake. That's usually what vegans end up realizing. What he should be doing is warning everybody about the dangers of veganism, saying that you shouldn't feed your kids a vegan diet and so on. Not say that, yes, some can do it, blah blah blah, come on.

[video] 4:52 First off, he claimed that, uh, oh, he looked at all of this research and he's not convinced that a vegan diet is optimal for health. Well, we already know that's a lie. You admitted it yourself. This decision to go back to eating animal products, it wasn't based on any research or science or evidence. You admitted it in your own words that it was a decision based off of pure stupidity. You're also talking about optimal health. Dude, you have vlogs where you eat tons of junk food. Like, clearly you're not interested in optimizing your health. So do you. Clearly you want to be healthy to some extent. As far as optimizing your health, I don't think you'd be eating junk food if you wanted optimal health, whatever the hell that even means. And then you claim that when you're looking at research, all the research you're looking at, it's always biased towards veganism. There's no objective sources. Well, again, we already know that's a lie because you never looked at research to begin with. And even if you did, well, guess what?

5:35 There are unbiased sources of... What do you even mean, an objective source? That obviously doesn't exist. You're talking about man-written papers in a man-made language, man-made symbols. And that's supposed to be what? Objective? What? It's an opinion, a belief, written by a human being.

[video] 5:58 Wow. Now, one commonly cited source for supporting vegan or vegetarian diets, not only for adults but also for children, is the American Dietetics position paper. Now, the American Dietetics Association, some of the leading members, they are vegan and vegetarian adventists, So, hey, maybe you could argue that this source is biased, but you don't have to rely on that source. You can look at children's health pediatric journals. And if you look at some of these papers in children's health... Of course, it mentions vegetarianism as always.

6:35 Vegans love to take vegetarian studies and almost always epidemiological studies cause an effect. It doesn't exist when it comes to vegan diets because

[video] 6:47 It completely debunks them.

6:52 However, as healthcare professionals, we should become concerned when foods within strict vegetarian or macrobiotic diets are not appropriately chosen or lack adequate supplementation. Again, what are you talking about? It's vegetarian diets, macrobiotic. Sure, it's somewhat plant-based, usually, but that's not a vegan diet. And even there, they mention supplementation. Man! Why do you show this? You're debunking yourself.

[video] 7:21 Vegan or vegetarian diets are bad for children.

7:24 They never recommend people to not feed their kids vegan or ve- As noted above, a well-planned and carefully followed vegetarian diet can satisfy the nutrient requirements for infants, children... Wow. The only thing I can imagine here is that he believes that his viewers are so stupid that they literally don't even read that one sentence. And of course, a vegan diet, because plants don't have over 50 nutrients, lacks over 50 nutrients. A vegetarian diet that includes dairy, for example, has some fat-soluble vitamins as long as the dairy is raw. Kids can get vitamin D, for example. which is incredibly important. Not that this guy even cares about children.

8:12 Also, why is he talking about children as if he hasn't already said to everybody in his videos that he wants to stomp them to death and that children make him scared? He's severely mentally ill. ...vegetarian diets.

[video] 8:29 What they recommend is paying special attention to...

8:33 Guidelines recommended for children being weaned Onto a vegetarian diet. Vitamin D, inclusion, blah, blah, blah. Fetty fish? Vegetarian, fatty fish, uh-huh. If anything, that would be pescatarian. Fish is made out of meat. Man, why are you showing this? You debunked yourself again.

[video] 8:57 Make sure your kids are getting adequate nutrition and they name specific nutrients like B12, vitamin...

9:05 Right, B12 you can get as a vegan, as a vegetarian, somewhat. Very little though. You would mostly get it from meat. And then of course fish also works. Which is meat. Zinc, super hard to get on a vegan diet, even vegetarian. Vitamin D, impossible on a vegan diet. Calcium, can't get it because of the anti-nutrients, really any of the minerals, iron. Essential fatty acids, again, missing. Yeah. You just completely debunked yourself.

[video] 9:37 I mean, D, zinc, some essential fats, which can all be acquired on a 100%... All stages.

9:45 Fetal, which is when you pretty much live off of your mother's blood. Okay, great example. Infant, obviously not. Infants get breast milk, which is made out of cholesterol and saturated fat. That's why they grow. It has all the growth hormones, which are produced by cholesterol. child and adolescent, never been studied. We know from all of the examples that children with a pure vegan diet only plants no breast milk at six years old from your mother as some vegans do because they realize that the child will die if they don't get the milk. They are incredibly unhealthy and they actually do die from it. Or they get rickets and whatnot.

[video] 10:30 And vegan plant-based diet. So again, John, you never looked at any of the science and all of it- It's literally somebody's opinion. Not science in any way at all. Wow. What a slave. You are being stupid. It's funny how you're smart enough to know that you're completely full of crap, but you're not honest enough to always admit that. This is not something that I, as a parent, as a father, am comfortable with doing. I'm not comfortable of dismissing hundreds of thousands of years or even millions of years of a certain eating pattern and instead do something that requires supplementation to make it possible, like B12, because, again, I used to think that you could get B12 from the soil and water, and that there is no scientific evidence for that to be true. And it doesn't make sense for me to go with a new method, which in, you know, I could call an experiment. So this is more stupid, ignorant nonsense. Now John is claiming that vitamin supplements like B12, they could be dangerous for children because they're unnatural.

[video] 11:26 So if a kid needs something like B12, well, you should feed them meat, dairy, or eggs. That's an interesting take, John, since both the National Health Institute and the American Academy of Pediatrics both recommend vitamin and mineral supplementation for infants and children. And in fact, the American Academy of Pediatrics...

11:43 Right, an academy that is sponsored by big pharma who sell fake synthetic toxic vitamins which have nothing to do with vitamins. All of them, when you look under the microscope, have completely different molecules than a vitamin. It's not a vitamin. This has been proven. So of course they will promote them. Does any animal in nature need supplements? No. A supplement is what you add to something, in this case a diet, to fulfill it because it's lacking nutrients. Wow.

[video] 12:19 ...commends iron supplementation for infants who are exclusively breastfed.

12:24 Infant formulas also contain supplements and these recommendations... Of course infant formula contains supplements because it has no nutrients so they add synthetic toxic stuff. That's incredibly unhealthy. How is that an argument? He's saying that veganism is unhealthy because it's lacking nutrients, which we know is 100% true. You're saying that some academy which is sponsored by Big Pharma says that you should be using supplements. That's not an argument in any way at all. You're completely missing his point, or as usual, you're lying.

[video] 13:05 No. Nobody needs them. If they don't eat a vegan diet. Wow, you're projecting so much. It's just hard to watch.

[video] 13:25 So if anyone is recommending anyone do some sort of dangerous experiment, it's you, you moron. I have had some question marks because of personal experiences, because of my real-life observations and, you know, nutrient deficiencies in people that are very, very close to me. And I don't want to give any personal information, so I'm not going to talk in detail about any of that. And I just don't want to be responsible or even seem like I am saying that this is the better way for kids to grow up. And if I don't feel comfortable with my kid being vegan, I cannot continue that lifestyle myself. Again, none of this makes sense, and it's all stupid, so he's suggesting that his son is having some sort of health issue from his plant-based vegan diet. He also mentioned this in his comment section, in his pinned comment, and he said that he's not going to talk about any of this publicly. Nobody's owed a full explanation on his personal health matters. What this is code for is, I'm making it all up. He's made everything else up, and he's just making this up. I seriously doubt him or his child or anyone else he knows has any health issue. This is all just made-up bullcrap. And he's saying that because

[video] 14:18 like his son or someone he knows has some sort of health issue while being vegan, that means he personally can't be vegan anymore.

14:28 Why would he make that up? That doesn't make any sense at all. Also, it's pretty clear that it's his wife, definitely. She looked like a ghost, extremely anemic, she was just super sick. She probably got sick, then he ate eggs and fish and whatever. Then he tried to eat a vegan or a plant-based diet, whatever, afterwards and just realized that it's not working. Maybe also his kid got a little bit sick and that was maybe the last push which pushed him to stop the vegan diet.

[video] 15:01 John, why do you even bother making up these stupid excuses? Like, I think you should know by now that none of this is going to fool anyone, so why do you even bother? Because I was coaching a lot of people, and I still will be coaching vegans and helping vegans to thrive. But I'm always coaching people and helping them transform their health and lives and getting better from chronic disease and all kinds of issues. And that just fed and confirmed my belief that the vegan diet is optimal, the healthiest diet ever, right? But of course, this is not a long-term study. This is a short-term intervention of what happens and what the limitations are long-term. So again, this is just completely false and it proves that John's lying. It proves that he's never taken a look at any research and he just doesn't know what he's talking about. As if I even had to prove that point further. So there are numerous longitudinal studies that have followed vegans and vegetarians for a long period of time. Epidemiological? It means nothing. Even scientists agree. For example, that's a cohort that's been going on for nearly two decades.

[video] 15:56 In this paper, they used 15 years worth of follow-up, and they found that only the... Vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

16:04 And usually in these studies, vegetarian means somebody who eats dairy, eggs, and fish also. So they're not actually vegetarian. And then they clump together vegetarians and vegans, even though there's no such thing as a long-term vegan. Somebody who's been doing it for a year or maybe two, usually a few months. That's already an absolute joke. It also says there was no significant difference in risk between diet groups for all causes of death combined. And of course, the difference is not significant at all. Especially if you think about what a regular meat eater is. They eat 70-80% plant-based. That's more plant-based than some vegans who cheat eat. And what do they eat? Trans fat, vegetable oils, bread, pasta. That's a meat eater.

[video] 17:00 Vegan and vegetarian diet groups had a statistically significant reduced risk of all-cause mortality. So there's a study where they've been tracking health data for 15 years, and they found that only vegans and vegetarians actually had a reduced risk of dying. There's other papers. This paper tracked data for an even longer period of time, multiple decades, and they found that greater adherence to a plant-based diet over a longer period...

17:28 1.1%, he talks about adherence to a diet. Yeah, that's how many vegans last on the starvation diet. And then of course again, vegetarianism, low meat intake, lower mortality from heart disease, again vegetarians. And what are we talking about here? Meat eaters that eat vegetable oils and tons of carbs, pasta and bread. What are the main causes? of heart disease sugar and vegetable oils. If a vegetarian eats tons of cholesterol and saturated animal fat, which is exactly what prevents heart disease, as I've proven in my videos, and doesn't eat vegetable oils and a very high carb, especially processed carbs diet, then of course they will not get as much heart disease, and that's what they can kind of study, which is not a study, short term.

18:28 That's all that it says. And again, what's your point here? This isn't even veganism anyway. Weight loss, completely irrelevant.

18:39 Study also found that the least weight gain over five years, blah blah blah, switched to a diet containing fewer animal foods. Okay, that means they were starving. Again, you debunked yourself for the millionth of time today. If you can't gain weight... You know, you can't, for example, create new cells, and that's because you're not getting enough cholesterol. Wow, man.

[video] 19:03 ...time was associated with better health outcomes, lower risk of dying. What's the better health here? There are very long cohorts, very long longitudinal studies that prove that the longer you adhere to a plant-based diet, the better off you will be in terms of health.

19:20 Show one proof, anything. Any kind of evidence.

[video] 19:23 I'm just wondering what the hell your excuse is here. All of this is made up. It's just all made up bullcrap. Why are you doing this? Just be honest. Admit it. Like, are you just a selfish jackass? People have, like, friends have kind of divorced themselves from me and, like, not wanting to have anything to do with me anymore. Yeah, and that's for good reason, John. Most people don't want to have to deal with a lying, amoral hypocrite like you, and hopefully, this is the last time I'll ever have to interact with you as well.

19:52 I would hardly doubt that Vegan Gains has any friends, obviously. And of course, they will not want to talk to John Venus anymore, because he just left a religion similar to Christianity. you then have different beliefs, your whole life goal and everything that revolves around you, so to speak, is just different, right? That's not friendship in any way at all. Your beliefs simply changed. That way you can actually perfectly see who your real friends are. If they don't like you for who you are or if you lose subscribers, who cares? As John Venus probably did know, blah blah blah, whatever. But does it matter? Why would you want people to subscribe to you and all this garbage following online if those are people who only watch your videos because you're talking about one specific topic?

20:52 That audience he of course lost now and he should be glad. As I said before, John should stop making excuses for veganism. Tell people that it's malnutrition and not say, hey, for some people it's okay and maybe even for your kids. Hey, if your kids suffered from it or your wife or whoever, then you shouldn't be promoting it at all and maybe even go anti-vegan to fight it. Plants don't have over 15 nutrients. It's not good for any human beings. That's it. Thanks for watching.
