0:00 What's up? I'm going to review the video 8 vegan comebacks you need to know.

[video] 0:05 My ancestors ate meat.

0:16 What is this?

[video] 0:20 Hi everybody, welcome back to the Vegan View today. We're going to be giving you a little vegan comebacks video. We are going to be sharing some of our best comebacks so that you are armed and ready for the holidays. Even if you...

0:33 Why do you need comebacks? Why not be open-minded and listen to other opinions? Why try to fight it off?

[video] 0:40 Been a vegan for many, many years. You know that the responses, the comments, the questions, they never really go away. We wanted to give you guys some ammo to go into the holidays feeling confident. That's because they are true. We'll be joined by some of our favorite friends of The Vegan View. We will link all of their interview episodes down below. And without further ado, let's get to it.

[video] 1:05 So you're sitting there, it's Thanksgiving dinner. What is this guy doing here? To waft away the air of Aunt Glenda's COVID cough, and Uncle Norm whips out, My ancestors ate meat, why shouldn't I? And you respond with, Norm, my ancestors clubbed each other over the head with giant sticks. Why shouldn't I do that right now?

1:24 He seems severely mentally ill, for one thing. And of course, comparing something that our ancestors did to the food that they ate is completely illogical. Of course, the food that they ate made you into who you are, your face structure, everything. Food, fat soluble vitamins for example, the way you develop, That's incredibly important. Hitting somebody over the head or whatever has nothing to do with it.

[video] 1:54 You know, this is a classic appeal to history fallacy that because something occurred in the past, it is justified. It's our natural diet. Because it happened, I should do it. Absolutely logically ridiculous. Especially when you think about all of the things that people did that we would never say is okay to repeat today. It's not a justification to do any of the horrible things that our ancestors did to each other. You know, another example with animals is it's not a justification to be beating your dog, and nobody agrees that beating a dog is okay. I hope. Those are man-made rules. They change like the weather.

[video] 2:29 Well, guess what, Norm? As you stalked your prey down the fluorescently lit aisles of the grocery store, clomping your rubber soles down to the meat aisle where you picked out your turkey that is plastic-wrapped from a factory farm, feathers pre-plucked, probably injected with saline solution, well, you didn't actually fulfill your ancestral duty. You just look like a duty. So when Norm acts up, acts a fool, just tell him...

2:49 Okay, so he's assuming that everybody buys their meat at a grocery store, that it's all the same, blah, blah, blah. Okay, obviously that's not true. How does that change anything? Makes no sense.

[video] 3:02 You could justify literally anything that has been done on a regular basis throughout human history based off his logic. You could do anything, smack him in the face. There are so many horrible things that have been done in human history that I'd rather not even say them. You can just insert whichever one you think of right now and then you can use...

3:18 Again, he doesn't get it. Where he's lying? I don't know. It's not just human history. It's as if he's talking about man-made countries. France versus Germany. Man-made borders. No, it's our natural diet. Humans, just like all animals, have to eat a specific diet to be healthy. That's why our ancestors ate that diet, because it naturally came to them, and there was no veganism around, because it's a new, man-made diet, a trend, a religion. That's the only reason.

[video] 3:55 That one on Uncle Norm. Anyway, have a good Thanksgiving, and happy holidays.

[video] 4:05 Good point. It's actually totally possible to be healthy on a vegan diet. No. And sometimes it can be healthier, depending on what you're eating.

4:12 Your teeth are fake.

[video] 4:12 There's a lot of different misconceptions about nutrition out there, and one of these are protein. A lot of people think we need a lot more protein than our bodies actually need. And even if it is something you're worried about, there are endless vegan resources, especially nowadays. If you want a more whole foods option, you have beans, lentils, whole grains, even vegetables have protein. They're all around us, and you don't just need...

4:35 Right, they have protein. What kind of amino acids do they have and can you actually digest those so-called foods? No, you can't because of the anti-nutrients and it's all enclosed in fiber. It's not the same as saying you got a piece of steak, you eat it, you digest it perfectly and you get the amino acids out of it. No. You can't just eat a plant. Look at some written text by somebody saying it has this much protein, such as beans, which people always like to say, and then think that you will eat them, digest them and get that out of it. Completely impossible. It's just ridiculous.

[video] 5:13 Get them from animal sources. If it's something you're worried about, there's also protein powders, there's vegan meat substitutes that usually have a lot of protein, so it really isn't something you need to worry about. It is a lot. You will get bone problems, for example. Something most people don't get enough of because you can only get it in plants. Fiber is attached to a lot of different health benefits such as digestion, immune, and so much more that we're still learning about. So if you get more fiber in, there's a good chance you're actually going to come out healthier if you switch over to...

5:45 Fiber is obviously not a nutrient, not that she said that, but she is implying that it's something that you need and that you can get from plants. Eating a purely animal-based diet is perfect for you, for your gut. There's no proof whatsoever that fiber is good for your gut. Everybody who eats less fiber says that they have better gut health, obviously, because it's, as I said, indigestible. It simply irritates your gut. That's it. Anybody who has IBS for example will benefit by reducing or eliminating fiber from their diet.

[video] 6:19 Just listen to the ex-vegans.

6:40 That's good information. Why do people still quit? Why not just continue being vegan all of your life? Because it's so easy and healthy, right?

[video] 6:48 She looks incredibly weird Deformed face

[video] 7:07 or just without the animals. And depending on how saturated I'm feeling, sometimes I'll say just without the cruelty or just without the saturated fat or cholesterol.

[video] 7:20 so first and foremost when it comes to chemicals everything is made out of chemicals even something as natural as a strawberry or an apple is made out of chemicals and i feel like people don't realize that when they try to use the argument that vegan food is full of chemicals and they don't want to eat food that has chemicals in it because if that was the case then they wouldn't be eating any food so i feel like people need to stop and take a moment to think about that and realize that for a second. And I think people don't realize how unnatural a turkey, a conventionally farmed and grown turkey that you're buying from a grocery store is. Back in the 1930s, they were around 13 pounds and now they're more than double the size and weight of that. I feel like it's so far from natural because of all the breeding, the selective breeding that's happened, and all the hormones and antibiotics that are used to plunk these turkeys to be as large as...

8:03 Hormones and antibiotics aside, the breeding itself, yeah, sure, you can create an animal that isn't as natural as it used to be, but it's still an animal. It's a turkey. It maybe is heavier or whatever, but you can't say the same about plants such as broccoli and kale that you get out of some random green leaf The cultivation takes super long and you make a completely man-made plant that you're not supposed to eat. Cultivating animals is, of course, also something that maybe we shouldn't have done, but then again, you gotta feed people, blah blah, that's a whole different topic you can argue about, but for sure, at the end of the day, it's still an animal that looks somewhat different, that's it. It's still meat, there's nothing... At least that anybody has mentioned that it's actually unhealthy about breeding animals.

9:02 It's just a natural process at the end of the day, right?

[video] 9:06 It's possible. It's far from natural. It's definitely processed and it's not healthy. Animal agriculture as a whole is not a natural process. These animals are intentionally bred to come into this world to be put on people's plates and they wouldn't otherwise. And you want to kill them all. They're artificially inseminated. And yeah, these animals are treated as products. They're not treated as animals. And there's such a large disconnect between the food that's on people's plates and where the food comes from. They're not showing us behind the scenes of a slaughterhouse in school. And that's not something that we grow up having knowledge about. We have to go out of our way to see that and to expose ourselves to that information. And in a lot of places, it's illegal to show that stuff. You know what I'm saying? Most places, it's illegal to see what happens in a slaughterhouse. Yeah. Yeah, because it can be traumatizing especially children which you never care about Most of the time people are not worried about being healthy and I feel like when it comes to vegan food even like vegan burgers For example, people talk so much crap about vegan burgers not being healthy, but do you eat a burger to be healthy?

[video] 10:04 I don't think so I feel like people need to put that into perspective.

10:08 You can eat a burger patty and eat a healthy food, just leave out the bread, salad, and man-made toxic vegetables or fruits such as tomatoes or whatever they use. And I don't really see them mention anything about the chemicals in the so-called vegan food what's vegan about it anyway a lot of this stuff is just made in the laboratory nowadays and it is really something you should watch out for people always like to mention the carcinogens when you cook meat not in raw meat but then uh what about the vegan fake meat for example full of carcinogens just completely toxic

[video] 10:50 The reason why these alternatives exist is because they're more ethical, they're more sustainable, better for the animals, and if they are healthier for you, that's great. They're just blabbering empty words. There are some ingredients in it that are not necessarily the healthiest, but we're not eating them every single day. By us choosing them, we're doing better for the animals and for the environment. You pick and choose, and you can't... These guys eat junk food all of the time, from what I've seen. You should pick your battles.

[video] 11:22 We are.

11:24 Yeah.

[video] 11:25 I'm just kidding. Don't say that. Of course. There are a lot of vegans that do think they're better than everyone else because they are vegan. And while Aunt Becky, I am sure that they have a lot of mental issues, that's why they go vegan. Because they're vegan, because in their mind they're thinking they're doing a good thing, which excuses them into being able to treat people however they want. That goes against their main foundation.

11:49 It's all about their ego. They don't even think that they're doing a good thing for the most part.

[video] 11:52 Fighting for liberation. for all sentient animals, humans alike. And while, Antti, I do agree that there are a lot of vegans who do think they are better than everyone else, I am not one of those vegans. I am just here to help the world become a better place.

12:08 That's cool, but most of them hate humans.

[video] 12:13 One question that vegan parents like me hate getting on holidays like Thanksgiving from family members is something along the lines of, well, what are you going to do when your kids grow up and decide they want to eat meat? So annoying for several reasons. What I do when that comes up is just kind of like brush it off and kind of like laugh it off and say, I mean, I highly doubt that'll happen. But like all things with your...

12:35 Okay, firstly, when they grow up. Now, a baby is going to want to eat meat within the first months already. So what do you mean by grow up? What are you feeding the child? A baby 100% wants to eat meat. All of them. It's human nature.

[video] 12:52 Kids, you know, we would just cross that bridge when we came to it. I like that response because it just sort of cuts them off and sets a boundary there and lets them know that you're not really willing to indulge in their passive-aggressive line of questioning when it comes to your kids. And also that you have it under control because you do. I mean, you could get into all the reasons that that's unlikely, how you're raising them with certain values, you're raising them without the disconnect.

13:13 Okay, it's your kids, as in you're the parent, you gave birth to them, okay, that we understand, but how about giving the child their free will, letting them choose what they want to eat, put whatever vegetable or whatever you want in front of them and then put a piece of meat in front of them. Let them choose what they want to eat. Absolute common sense, but the vegans don't do that.

[video] 13:41 Between like what's on their plate and, you know, a sentient living creature that had to be sacrificed in order for it to be there. You know, that disconnect is why so many people have a hard time going vegan, even when faced with facts. And your kids aren't going to be dealing with that. They won't ever have that separation and that, you know, disconnect. You could get down to all of that, but I wouldn't even do it. I would just cut it off. I would just change the subject. Say, you know... Totally close-minded. Yeah, what? Yeah, whatever.

[video] 14:28 Don't say sorry to me. That's my favorite way to respond to that comment because it insinuates there's somebody else that they need to apologize to and it's not me. So it makes them think, who do they mean? Oh, maybe the animal.

14:43 Of course a human is not gonna feel sorry for eating an animal because it's our natural diet. The same way a wolf is not gonna feel sorry for eating an animal after the wolf kills it, right? Even if we don't kill it nowadays and maybe it's a subconscious thing, but of course, everybody deep down still understands that. And if they say that they are sorry for eating it in front of you, then it's only because they know that you crave meat, cheese, eggs, or whatever, you're eating, and of course, the vegan sitting in front looks malnourished, is pale, has dark eye circles, or whatever, and then you will think, oh no, this poor vegan craves it, I feel sorry for them, and that's why they say that.

[video] 15:31 Um, that's truly how I feel. The animal is way more affected by your choice than I am. So...

15:39 So...

[video] 15:41 Short and sweet. All right, everyone. Thank you so much to all of our guests who helped collaborate with us and equip you with some vegan comebacks this holiday season. We will leave all of their information in the description box below. If you're not already following them, what are you doing? Go give them a follow.

15:53 They're so fake, I want to throw up.

[video] 15:55 We hope that you guys enjoyed this video. If you did, please give it a thumbs up and comment below and let us know how you would answer some of these questions. Disgusting humans. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday season, and we will see you in a video very soon. Bye. Bye. Bye.

16:09 Bye, bye, bye, go die, really. Yeah, plants don't have over 50 nutrients, fam, and that's why you guys look the way you look, even with all of the makeup. And of course you create all of these comebacks because people will keep confronting you with this stuff forever because you're trying to escape reality. You're living in denial, believing all of this garbage. There's so much more, of course. that people can confront you with, such as the 50 nutrients that you can't get from plants, which is something that people don't talk about enough. I've never heard any vegan have any response to it, because there just isn't, it's just something that they try to hide, which is why I always put this at the end of the videos, of course.

17:03 That's what makes a lot of vegans actually realize why they feel sick, that it's not a perfect diet at all, that they've been brainwashed to go after the morals and everything else, but never actually looked into the food that they're eating or if you can even call it food, the man-made plants, which no human has ever ate in history, and that's why it is important what our ancestors ate. Look into that. Thanks for watching.
