0:00 Hi, as requested, I'm gonna be reviewing a video by Xander Botnik. It's called Five Days with an Ancient Tribe. It's not an ancient tribe, by the way.

[video] 0:15 The Hadza, one of the last true hunter-gatherer tribes of-

0:26 As you can see right there, they usually wear Adidas and all kinds of clothes. The way these fake videos work on YouTube, Paul Saladino also did this, Liver King did this, is that you go to an actual tourist agency, you book a trip with the... Ancient tribe, the Hadza, who partly live in the city and partly also actually do live in the kind of wild. It's a fake kind of wild, of course, because the nature around there has been destroyed. The government has a lot of control over it. And then you can go on a trip with them. They get part of the money and that's how they can also buy their stuff. They don't even need any wild meat for the most part. And then the agency gets part of it. That's it. That's what all of these people do on YouTube. It's totally fake.

[video] 1:17 The Hadza survive in the same primitive way our ancestors did hundreds of thousands of years ago. Hunting wild game with bow and arrows. Gather...

1:23 well that's not true anyway because uh a lot of them also cook their meat and their diets are pretty bad overall they are also not really healthy they are for sure not a primitive ancient tribe not not at all if you would maybe go to that island in the Indian Ocean what were those people called Sentinelese or something but uh That's the thing. That's actually exactly my point. When you want to actually meet a natural so-called tribe, you know what they will do to you. That's the case with those people. You cannot book a tour with them and go hunt with them in their Adidas clothes and so on. I think he has no idea actually what he's talking about. Most of these... survival people today have no connection to nature whatsoever anymore. They see these modern people and think, oh, that's an ancient tribe.

2:22 Zero connection to nature. This guy Xander is delusional.

[video] 2:26 Tubers. This is living life at its most raw. I'm curious what I can learn.

2:35 literally sitting there with cooked meat saying it's living at its most raw. A totally delusional guy.

2:50 This is just pure Hollywood basically. Totally fake, total garbage, just a fake survival nature channel.

3:18 so they all arrive in these cars i don't even know if i can watch this it's like watching theater so we just got to the hazard camp and they're all just kind of hanging out getting ready for tonight's hunt we're gonna meet the woman and explore camp a little bit

[video] 3:40 So currently, the women are preparing part of the pig that the Hadza hunted last night. It's going to be hung dried in the sun for preservation. It'll last about a month. The men over here are cutting up the meat into smaller pieces. This is part of the pig's shoulder for the dogs to eat. They prepare bageli, which is almost like a polenta, a corn substance, which the Hadza have traded for. They mix it with the pig meat to give the dogs food more substance.

3:56 That's good if they give it to the dog. Not as good for a dog, but if they don't have meat for them, obviously, I don't support that. But it's interesting because a lot of these YouTubers go and do these tours with them through the agency, but then they just learned that you should eat corn, cook your meat. Yeah, maybe they learned something about hunting, yeah. That's about one of the only things that you could learn from them. I would learn zero from them, just nothing. I can't learn anything from them when it comes to hunting. I would only learn how to eat more unhealthy. It's pointless.

[video] 4:43 So I'm not here alone on this trek with the Hadza, I'm here with my guide Abbas, his brother Ame, our translator Mikey, and my- Money, money, money.

4:51 How much did you pay them?

[video] 4:52 My younger brother Dylan is my cameraman, Gustavo's on a bit of a vacation.

4:57 Wow, he looks really unhealthy. Really starved. Also already wrinkles forming. Maybe too much of a tough life, but his body fat is too low, it's very noticeable.

5:13 Hmm, this guy needs to watch out.

[video] 5:16 Right now, this is first break in five years, so Dylan's my cameraman. Over the past 200,000 years, humans have migrated all across the globe, but some have never left, maintaining their way of life all this time. This is the Hadza tribe, and we're here.

5:29 Right. Yeah. They have always just been cooking the food. It doesn't come from them partly moving to a city and learning how modern slaves live. No, no. They just cooked food. Yeah. In Ethiopia, almost next to it. They don't cook food, they eat raw meat. Yeah, but 200,000 years right here, before they even made up these countries, they were cooking meat. Yeah. Sure. And right next to it, raw meat. Yeah, yeah. A totally logical video. In the cradle of humanity.

[video] 6:05 In my hand, I have a traditional...

6:06 Yeah, yeah, Adidas. Here we go. Adidas, a bit of cooking, barbecuing meat. That's what's up. Some corn, tour guides. As fake as it gets, just disgusting that this is promoted.

[video] 6:23 It's good weapons for hunting, good arrows. It's good weapons for hunting, good arrows. It's good weapons for hunting, good arrows.

6:52 Yes, oh well, we'll see. I was gonna say the poison is usually taken from plants, seeds, which is funny because we eat that stuff nowadays. Back in the day, you only took the seeds and the plants to put poison on the tip of the spear or the arrow to kill the animal quicker to poison it.

[video] 7:13 Collected from plants, these are strong enough to take out elephants, though their skin is thick. So if the Hadza were to shoot an elephant, they'd want to shoot it in the bottom of the foot as the elephant walks away.

7:26 They usually don't even allow these people to hunt anymore because of the government surveillance. At least not those bigger animals.

[video] 7:37 Be sophisticated at the same time.

[video] 7:45 We eat some of the meat harvested from a previous night's hunt.

7:48 Yeah, that's super overcooked well done. No natural people would ever do that. And if they would cook it because it was frozen or some super tough parts which they want to be warm again because it's super cold, which it wouldn't really be in this climate, then they would still not overcook it. It's totally fake.

[video] 8:11 As we prepare to go for an evening hunt with the younger Hadjabi,

8:15 Yeah, this is just shushlik as carcinogens. It's just horrible. Although still, their face structure's development is better than it is with most people today. That's not surprising.

[video] 8:33 first a quick word from today's paid partnership and that's with better help you know what life oh my god you really it's been pretty awesome recently i've been traveling the world going on some amazing trips and obviously getting to create all this amazing content for you guys but life wasn't always this great i had a couple down points where i was really struggling and um i knew that i couldn't get out by myself and i had to seek help outside of myself in order to get out of those ruts in the not too distant past i found myself back in a really bad low spot and i knew that i had to

8:59 You put yourself into very stressful situations all the time. You're still not doing well mentally. Obviously, better help didn't help you if you tried it. Whatever you're doing, it's looking worse and worse.

9:28 Ah, they still express themselves more naturally, though. That's nice to see. Not this absolute fakeness. Just the pleasure of eating the honey. Because humans like sweet. Oh, but no. The people from the carnivore diet said that you should eat zero carbs.

[video] 9:54 All that honey that the young boys collected is packed full of a ton of nutrients, which will help them stay strong on their upcoming hunt.

10:01 Not really. But still. It's probably nice honey.

[video] 10:07 Whoa, he got it.

10:29 This is what young men should be doing, learning how to hunt, precise shooting. It's kind of what we do, we imitate it by doing sports because our natural desire is to hunt.

10:48 Because, for example, I've mentioned this before many times, if you play basketball and you shoot a ball into the net circle, an absolute joke, then there's no satisfaction. Because you get no reward. Yeah, you get a fake reward, which is people clapping because they're also slaves and don't get what's going on. And then you get some stupid medal, maybe even a certificate, some man-made letters on a stupid man-made paper. That's it. It's nothing. Zero fulfillment, absolutely fake. You're a slave. That's all that the paper is saying, or the trophy, whatever you get. but uh when you get this what he's holding in his hand right now because uh you're a good shooter then you actually get satisfaction from it and once you eat it especially raw the way a real natural tribe would then uh that's it it's the most fulfilling thing there is

11:56 Interesting, was it a more natural kind of cucumber?

12:08 Yeah, and they also play football, man. Ah, just... I'm kind of done.

12:20 I'm not saying anything against their lifestyle. I just can't stand that they promote these fake tribes on YouTube and act as if they have something to do with nature. They have more to do with nature than Xander or all the YouTubers and the people who booked the tours. But other than that, nah, man.

[video] 12:42 It's the Hadza boys versus some of the local Toga tribe.

12:49 it's like cloth and a little bit of oh the heads of love marijuana and tobacco oh my god oh my god man i can't i just can't i can't often trade for it

13:16 Yeah, or they buy it with the money that they get from the tours, yeah. Oh my god, a weed-smoking natural tribe with Adidas.

13:28 This is such a joke, man. Only a stupid YouTuber or somebody who watches YouTube a lot is going to watch this and think, oh, wow, those are natural people.

[video] 13:39 Tastes like a small exotic bird.

13:46 Yeah, good. Well done meat, like I have in my restaurant where I live. And some weed also. Yeah, it's a perfect natural life.

[video] 13:55 The heads are well fed, but that still doesn't keep them from going out tomorrow. Waking up bright and early for the morning hunt.

14:03 Not really. If they would eat raw meat, then they would be a lot better fed and they wouldn't need food as often.

[video] 14:10 They just are like a cut above anything that I've ever eaten.

14:15 Oh interesting, I don't know what's going on there but you can see that the jaws are well developed from what I can see. There's enough space for all of the teeth. You don't really see that in Europe nowadays almost at all, very rarely. Almost everybody that I know needed braces.

14:46 I've heard from other people that they cook the meat but eat the organs raw. Maybe that won't be shown here. If you have space for all of your teeth, you probably ate raw organs. Raw organs and cooked muscle meat and whatever else they eat from the city, that's still gonna do it. That's gonna be good enough. That's what you're seeing there.

[video] 15:16 wild eggs maybe that would also help well he came down out of the mountains thank goodness because that was some of the thickest brush i've ever been in blueberries these ones are like a grape with a seed in the middle unfortunately the heads of habitat is being damaged by their own overgrazing combined with the fact that their horticultural neighbors all trees for firewood and to graze land for crops hadza now only have about 10 of the land that they once did

15:42 Yeah, because in nature, in actual nature, there's a lot of animals everywhere and all kinds of fruits that you can eat. Also more honey. Obviously the earth that we. leave on today it's destroyed it's not the original earth anymore which is messed up

16:13 The guy who makes these videos, Xander, is a super messed up guy. Has no idea about nature, how humans actually live in nature. Obviously, as he said himself, has a lot of mental problems. Better help isn't going to help you. Better actually connect to real nature. But he doesn't even understand what nature is. That's the thing. People who grow up in cities and make these survival videos... Anyone to connect to nature have no idea what nature is. That's the problem here. And then, because the other slaves from cities watch them, they also have no idea. The biggest problem with videos like this is that people get the wrong idea of what nature is, what a natural life is about. And then, of course, they also have no motivation to live naturally.

17:10 They don't feel as if they should connect to nature, so to speak, because what they see there isn't even really that appealing. The hunting part, maybe, that's really about it.

17:29 They see these also brainwashed people, very heavily influenced by modern societies. And then they believe that, oh, they don't really live that differently from us. Yeah, obviously. And then they believe that, oh, maybe I should just stay where I am. kind of all the same anyway yeah because these are not natural people actually living in true nature following their natural needs and desires it's uh an imitation of it a better one is better than an actual stupid football team fighting for trophies and all of that yeah in comparison but uh To promote them as a natural tribe, the same way Paul Celadino did in Liver King, is an absolute joke.

18:29 It only appeals to slaves anyway. This is actually the most telling part. Actual slaves, like Sander, would never even want to meet natural people, for an obvious reason. That's it. We're Liver King, and, uh... Saladino, if they would have actually traveled to a natural tribe, you know what would happen? And even if they would be able to somehow film them, nobody would like what they are doing. It would be the worst content ever for the slave's mind. It would be... like watching a horror movie or something along those lines, but even way worse for their mind. That's the actual reality. What you just saw there is bullshit. It's disrespectful towards nature. Horrible guy. Horrible video. It's just terrible. Thanks for watching.
